TTP suicide bomber among two terrorists killed in KP IBOs
2023-11-04
[GEO.TV] Two terrorists, including a Tehrik-e-Taliban

Pakistain (TTP) jacket wallah, were killed while two others were maimed in separate intelligence-based operations (IBO) conducted by security forces in different areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Friday.

In a statement, the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said three soldiers also bit the dust in one of the IBOs and a separate incident of an improvised bomb (IED) blast in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan
... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ...
district.

"An intelligence based operation was conducted in general area Rori, Dera Ismail Khan District and one terrorist was sent to hell, while two hard boyz were maimed," a statement issued by the ISPR read.

It stated that the killed terrorist was identified as Osama — a suicide bomber linked with the TTP — who was planning to carry out a "high profile" attack in the area.

In a separate IBO conducted in Lakki Marwat district, the security forces busted various terrorist hideouts, killing one terrorist.

Unfortunately, two soldiers — Naik Zafar Iqbal, 37, from Gujranwala and Sepoy Haji Jan, 30 from Gilgit Baltistan — bit the dust while fighting gallantly in an intense exchange of fire.

Moreover, another soldier, Havildar Shahid Iqbal, 39, from Mirpurkhas, embraced martyrdom in an IED blast in the Kulachi area of DI Khan.

The military's media wing said that sanitisation operations are being carried out to eliminate any Death Eaters present in the area. It reiterated the determination of security forces to wipe out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

Pakistain has been facing the daunting challenge of terrorism for the last year as several incidents of terror and violence have taken place lately. Earlier today, 14 soldiers were martyred as hard boyz attacked a security forces convoy in Gwadar.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir last week said that the armed forces and its security and intelligence setups have fought the menace of terrorism in an exemplary manner despite sustained and varied support of inimical forces.

"Success will be ours InshAllah with the continued support of the people of Pakistain," COAS Munir said.

Imran Khan announces Minar-e-Pakistan power show yet again
2023-03-20
Khan and Trump are at different ends of the political spectrum, but the corruptocrats in both countries are going after them the same way.
[GEO.TV] Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf
...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations....
(PTI) Chairman Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
on Sunday yet again announced a power show at Minar-e-Pakistain on Wednesday (March 22) after yesterday's "high drama" as chaos erupted at his Zaman Park home and at the judicial complex in Islamabad where he appeared before a trial court in the Toshakhana case.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former ruling party had the same plan to hold the "historic" public rally at Minar-e-Pakistain on March 19 (today) but the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday barred the PTI from holding the Lahore rally.

A day earlier, the police and PTI supporters fought pitched battles outside Khan’s Zaman Park residence and at Islamabad Judicial Complex, wounding several on both sides.

The former prime minister had travelled back to Lahore from Islamabad after Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal cancelled his non-bailable arrest warrants in the Toshakhana case on marking his attendance.

The judge adjourned the hearing till March 30 and told the parties in the case that arguments would take place during the next hearing and also ordered Khan to ensure his presence.

FIR against Imran, Shibli for harassing Islamabad police

[Dawn] The thriving provincial capital police have lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against PTI Chairman Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who ain't the sharpest bulb on the national tree...
, party leader Shibli Faraz and 150 workers for harassing and hurling life threats at an Islamabad police team when it visited Zaman Park to arrest the former prime minister.

The FIR was registered by the Race Course police on the complaint of Islamabad Secretariat police SHO Nadeem Tahir.

The SHO said he was part of the team of the federal capital police constituted for the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan to comply with the orders of additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ), Islamabad.

He said as they reached the Zaman Park residence of the PTI leader along with his non-bailable arrest warrants issued by ADSJ Zafar Iqbal, a charged group of 100-150 PTI workers carrying clubs surrounded them.

The SHO stated in the FIR that the attackers hurled serious life threats at the Islamabad police officials, saying they would kill them if they dared to enter their leader’s house.

Teams formed to conduct raids, arrest suspects nominated in the case; PTI chief also booked in Quetta

Following the seriousness of the matter, he said, the police told them that they had arrived from Islamabad to comply with the court orders. "However,
if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...
the attackers rejected the repeated requests of the Islamabad police," the SHO said.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth ordered the entire 614th quadrant searched. The Green Lensman must be found!...
he said, PTI big shot Shibli Faraz appeared from the charged crowd and the police apprised him of the court orders about arrest of Irman Khan. The SHO said Mr Faraz too barred the police from entering the residence and used delaying tactics.

While receiving the court notice, he put up a note on it saying "Imran Khan is not available at his residence", read the FIR. The SHO alleged that Mr Faraz deliberately distorted the facts about the presence of Imran Khan at his residence as moments later the PTI chairman addressed party workers from his Zaman Khan residence.

The live telecast of his speech showed Imran Khan was present at his residence when police reached there, the SHO said. He alleged that Imran Khan, with the connivance of Shibli Faraz and 150 charged party workers, committed a crime by dodging and barring the Islamabad police from discharging their duty.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth ordered the entire 614th quadrant searched. The Green Lensman must be found!...
Lahore Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana told Dawn that the police would arrest all those involved in harassing and threatening the ICT police. "It is a legal obligation of the police to arrest the violators/attackers booked by the police," he said, adding that the police teams have been formed to conduct raids and arrest the suspects nominated in the FIR.

Separately, an FIR was registered at a cop shoppe in Quetta against Imran Khan on Monday over his alleged remarks against state institutions and their offices and spreading hatred against them.

Sections 153A, 124A and 505 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 have been added to the FIR lodged by citizen Abdul Khalil Kakar, who said the PTI chief’s statement is tantamount to destroying public peace and order.
Khaama Press adds (succinctly despite the shared culture):
Violence broke out between police and former Prime Minister Supporters in Lahore, Pakistan, injuring several on both sides on Wednesday, the official said.

The government in Lahore suspended public gatherings in the provincial capital hours before the opposition party was scheduled to hold a planned election rally.

Pakistan police dispersed Imran Khan’s support using water cannons and tear gas. Despite police threats to make additional arrests, hundreds of anti-government demonstrators gathered near former Prime minister Imran Khan’s Residence.

Former Premier Khan, the current leader of the opposition, was ousted in a no-confidence vote in Parliament in April last year. He has argued that his expulsion was unlawful and has advocated for early parliamentary elections.

Khan’s requests have been rejected by his successor’s administration, Shahbaz Sharif, who claims the nationwide vote will occur as planned later this year.

In a video message, Khan later urged his supporters to return to their homes. Before the elections, he said he requested that his supporters disperse to avoid clashes with the police.

Islamabad court to indict Imran Khan in Toshakhana reference on Feb 7
2023-01-31
One way or another they’ll do their best to see that he never is prime minister again.
[Dawn] An Islamabad sessions court stated on Tuesday that charges against PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
in the Toshakhana reference will be framed on February 7.

The reference alleging that Imran had not shared details of the gifts he retained from the Toshaskhana and proceeds from their reported sales was filed by politicians from the ruling coalition last year. On October 21, the Election Commission of Pakistain (ECP) had concluded that the former premier had indeed made "false statements and incorrect declarations" regarding the gifts — a ruling that prompted widespread protests by the PTI.

The watchdog’s order said Imran stood disqualified under Article 63(1)(p) of the Constitution.

Subsequently, the ECP had approached the Islamabad sessions court with a copy of the reference, seeking proceedings against Imran under criminal law for allegedly misleading officials about the gifts he received from foreign dignitaries during his tenure as the prime minister.

At the previous hearing, the court had reserved its judgement on ECP’s petition.

On Tuesday morning, Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal pronounced the verdict with PTI lawyer Ali Bukhari and ECP counsel Advocate Saad Hasan in attendance.

Meanwhile,

Khorasan Province (ISKP) Lions of Islam were behind the brutal terror attack, resulting in the injury of several Chinese citizens. China’s weaponry support to the de facto regime in Kabul has reportedly begun following the terror incident and the rising instability which threatens the country’s interests and the implementation of the "Road and Belt Initiative" (RBI) in Afghanistan.

Furthermore, Chinese sources have expressed concerns about the volatile security situation and the rising militancy in Afghanistan which could turn the country into the hub of Lions of Islam in the region.

"In response to the growing insecurity and militancy, China has sought to provide the de facto authorities of Afghanistan to fight all forms of terrorism and extremism," Zafar Iqbal Yousafzai, author of The Troubled Triangle: US-Pakistain Relations under the Taliban’s Shadow in The Jamestown Foundation said.

After the withdrawal of the US and international forces in August 2021, China deepened its engagement with the Taliban-run government for several reasons. China was among the few counties such as Iran, Pakistain, and Russia asking the international community to help the Taliban stabilize the country. With no major international player on the ground, the opportunity seemed quite good for China to support the Taliban and achieve their national interests in war-torn Afghanistan.

the US presence in Afghanistan was a strategic threat to China. Now with the US gone, closing ties with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is a new geopolitical development for China, reported Jamestown Foundation.

NIA charges 2 Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen terrorists in Poonch conspiracy case
2021-10-05
[OneIndia] The National Investigation Agency has filed a supplementary chargesheet against two murderous Moslems of the Tehrik-ul-Mujahideen
...one of Pakistan’s ISI’s catspaws in Kashmir, TuM was founded in 1990. By the end of the decade they were on their fourth emir, and subsequently their limited membership has been mainly visiting Paks with a few locals for local flavour. They’ve been seen in the Kashmir Valley in the Beeru belt of Budgam district, Ganderbal, and parts of Srinagar, Anantnag and Pulwama, and gotten funding from the Saudi Arabian Harmain Islamic Foundation — one of the financiers of 9/11, among other little projects — as well as the ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba...
in connection with a conspiracy case registered at Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
The NIA has charged Zafar Iqbal based in Pakistain and Shaid Naveed. The accused persons were part of a deep-rooted criminal conspiracy hatched by Pakistain based handlers of the terror group and their associates based in Poonch and Kuwait.

The NIA says that they were planning on executing terror attacks in a bid to wage war against the Indian state. The accused were tasked to smuggle arms, ammunitions, explosives and narcotics, the NIA said. During the course of the investigations a large cache of arms, ammunitions, explosives, narcotics, flags, posters and other incriminating material were seized.

The probe revealed that Iqbal had sent funds through Naveed who at that time was based in Kuwait.

These funds were then sent to Poonch to carry out the plan. Further investigation into the case continues.

has been sentenced to 10 years in jail by an anti-terrorism court in Punjab.

Saeed was arrested on July 17 last year in the terror financing cases.

Earlier in February 2020, he was sentenced to 11 year imprisonment by an anti-terrorism court in two terror financing cases.

According to reports, The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Lahore on Thursday sentenced four leaders of Jamat-ud-Dawa, including its chief Hafiz Saeed, in two more cases.

He is lodged at the Lahore’s high-security Kot Lakhpat jail.

The ATC also ordered the concerned authorities to confiscate Saeed’s property. Furthermore, a fine of Rs1,10,000 has also been imposed on him.

has been sentenced to six-month jail.

24 out of the total 41 cases registered against the JuD leaders have been decided by the ATC courts. Four cases have been decided against Saeed so far.
The Jerusalem Post adds:

(LeT), the Death Eater group blamed by the United States and India for the 2008 Mumbai siege, to 10 years in prison on two charges of terrorism financing, his lawyer said.

The sentences for the two charges - five years each - will run concurrently. Saeed is already in jail serving two sentences of five-and-a-half-years each, handed down to him in February this year, which means he will not serve any extra jail time.

"An anti-terrorism court in Lahore sentenced ten-and-a-half years imprisonment to chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa
...the front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba...
Hafiz Saeed, his deputy Zafar Iqbal, and front man Yahya Mujahid on charges of terror financing," Saeed's lawyer Imran Fazal Gill told Rooters.

Appeals have been filed against previous sentences, Gill said.

Saeed has been arrested and released several times over the past decade. He denies any involvement with militancy, including the 2008 Mumbai siege in which 160 people were killed, including Americans. The United States offered a reward of $10 million for information leading to the conviction of Saeed.

The conviction comes as Pakistain tries to avoid punitive blacklisting by global dirty money watchdog, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), which judges a country's ability to combat illicit financing, including to Death Eater organizations.

Pakistain has remained on the "grey list" since 2018. In FATF's last review in October, Pakistain was urged to complete an internationally agreed action plan by February 2021 and to demonstrate that terrorism financing probes resulted in effective sanctions.

Saeed's lawyer said his client was convicted under FATF pressure.
No doubt.

Terror financing and terrorism: ATC awards jail term to four JD leaders
2020-06-19
[The News (Pak)] An anti-terrorism court on Thursday convicted four leaders of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa
...the front organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba...
(JuD) over charges of terror financing and terrorism.

ATC judge Ejaz Ahmad Butter awarded jail terms to Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki, Malik Zafar Iqbal, Yahya Aziz and Abdul Islam all members of Tanzeem al-Anfaal Trust which is a subsidiary organization of the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba
...the Army of the Pure, an Ahl-e-Hadith terror organization founded by Hafiz Saeed. LeT masquerades behind the Jamaat-ud-Dawa facade within Pakistain and periodically blows things up and kills people in India. Despite the fact that it is banned, always an interesting concept in Pakistain, the organization remains an blatant tool and perhaps an arm of the ISI...
The court awarded five years jail term each to Malik Zafar Iqbal and Muhammad Yahya Aziz along with imposition of a fine of Rs 50,000. In case of default in payment of fine, the convicts will face a further six months jail. Zafar and Yahya have been convicted under Section 11-N read with 11-1 (2) (b) Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 (money laundering, illegal fundraising and buying properties from raised funds). Malik Zafar Iqbal was the secretary of the al-Anfaal Trust, also run by the JuD.

The prosecution team led by Deputy Prosecutor General Abdul Rauf Wattoo proved its case before the court that the Madrasa Sattaria property in discussion was in use of the convicts, which is a reasonable cause to suspect that it was used for terror financing or terrorism. It is penitent to mention here that the court in its order stated that the sentence awarded to Malik Zafar Iqbal shall run concurrently with his previous sentence. Previously, Zafar was convicted for five and half years along with JD Chief Hafiz Saeed
...founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its false-mustache offshoot Jamaat-ud-Dawa. The United Nations declared the JuD a terrorist organization in 2008 and Hafiz Saeed a terrorist as its leader. Hafiz, JuD and LeT are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Pak intel apparatus, so that amounted to squat. He is periodically placed under house arrest so it looks like the govt is doing something. The court has awarded one year jail term each to Hafiz Abdul Rahman Makki and Abdul Islam along with imposition of a fine of Rs 20,000 each. In case of default in payment of fine, the convicts will face a further jail term of 10 days. Both have been convicted as the prosecution proved that they abetted in obtaining the property known as Madrasa Sattaria.

Deputy Prosecutor Abdul Rauf Wattoo while talking to The News said that the convicts were active members of the banned al-Anfaal Trust from 2001 to 2018 and the prosecution proved its case. Elaborating the case, Rauf stated that any banned outfit cannot purchase, construct and run any piece of land. If it does so, it comes under the definition of terror financing and terrorism. The court while hearing the case on a daily basis concluded the trial in just nine days, Rauf added.

Hafiz Saeed sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for terror financing
2020-02-13
[DAWN] A Lahore anti-terrorism court convicted Jamatud Dawa leader Hafiz Saeed
...founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and its false-mustache offshoot Jamaat-ud-Dawa. Once the heat is off they let him go....
in two terror-financing cases on Wednesday.

He was slapped with a prison sentence of five-and-a-half years and a fine of Rs15,000 in each case. The sentences of both cases will run concurrently. The court also granted him the benefit of Section 382-B of the Code of Criminal Procedure (reduction of period of sentence of imprisonment). Malik Zafar Iqbal, the secretary of al-Anfaal Trust, has also been convicted in the same cases and has been awarded similar punishment.

They were convicted under the Anti-Terrorism Act Section 11-F(2) ‐ pertaining to membership, support and meetings relating to a proscribed organization ‐ and 11-N (punishment under Sections 11-H to 11-K).

Section 11H relates to fundraising for the purpose of terrorism, 11-I is about the use and possession of money or other property for terrorism, 11-J relates to funding arrangements which result in money being made available for terrorism, while 11-K relates to money laundering.
The Jerusalem Post explains why this pet of the ISI, mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai massacre that killed 160 over four days, is suddenly convicted of anything:
The Islamist leader was the first high profile figure convicted on terrorism financing charges in Pakistan, which denies regular accusations that it shelters militants.

The unprecedented ruling came ahead of a meeting of a world financial watchdog, Financial Action Task Force (FATF), next week to decide whether to blacklist Pakistan over a failure to curb terrorism financing.

Amid pressure from the FATF to take action against Saeed's militant groups, Pakistan charged him in December with collecting funds for his organizations, which are listed as terrorist organizations by the United Nations. He pleaded not guilty.

"Hafiz Saeed and another of his close aides have been sentenced in two cases of terrorism financing," prosecutor Abdul Rauf Watto told Reuters.

Saeed has denied any involvement and says his network, which spans 300 seminaries and schools, hospitals, a publishing house and ambulance services, has no ties to militant groups.

Saeed and his group's charities had entered into the country's politics under a plan backed by Pakistan army in a bid to integrate the militants in mainstream society. They contested the 2018 general election under a new name, Milli Muslim League (MML), but did not secure any seats.

'Efforts on to bring back killers of Bangabandhu, 4 national leaders'
2019-11-04
[Dhaka Tribune] Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said the government will further strengthen its diplomatic efforts to bring back the runaway killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and four national leaders.

"A strong effort is on to bring back the convicted killers, who are hiding abroad. This diplomatic effort will be strengthened further in the days to come," he said yesterday.

Quader, also general secretary of Awami League, made the remarks while talking to news hounds after placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32, marking the Jail Killing Day.

Awami League central leaders, led by Prime Minister the loathesome Sheikh Hasina
...Bangla dynastic politician and current Prime Minister of Bangladesh. She has been the President of the Bangla Awami League since the Lower Paleolithic. She is the eldest of five children of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangla. Her party defeated the BNP-led Four-Party Alliance in the 2008 parliamentary elections. She has once before held the office, from 1996 to 2001, when she was defeated in a landslide. She and the head of the BNP, Khaleda Zia show such blind animosity toward each other that they are known as the Battling Begums...
, placed the wreath and paid rich tributes to Bangabandhu and the four national leaders -- Tajuddin Ahmad, Syed Nazrul Islam, Captain Mansur Ali and AHM Quamruzzaman.

Quader said the government is facing difficulties in bringing back the runaway killers from the foreign countries as there is no provision of death penalty
in those countries, reports UNB.

"However,
some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves...
high-level discussions are on with the heads of states and government to fix how they can be brought back," he said.

He said two brutal incidents - the liquidation of Bangabandhu and most of his family members on August 15, and the killings of the four national leaders in 1975 - were intermingled and the outcome of the same conspiracy.

On this day in 1975, the killers of Bangabandhu stormed into the Dhaka Central Jail in the early hours and killed the four national leaders, who led the Liberation War in the absence of Bangabandhu in 1971 and earned victory for the nation.

"It's amazing how a young man can be so caught up in hate, anger and blind rage," said presiding judge Sandra Mayer, " reported the local paper Augsburger Allgemeine. She added that "Haidar A. is caught in almost medieval ways of thinking and the court has little hope that he will develop for the better."
So, put him down like a rabid dog
The court sentenced the 26-year-old Haidar for six attempted murders on Wednesday. Haidar sought during the judicial process in the Summer of 2017 to take the weapon of a police office in the courtroom. He was, according to the Augsburger Allgemeine, upset that the court sentenced him to a lengthy prison term for attempting to behead a asylum seeker with a knife in the town of Hurlach--a municipality in the district of Landsberg in the southern German state of Bavaria .

Haider also spat in the direction of the judge's bench and screamed: "To hell with you and those who created you."

Haidar wanted to behead the refugee because he "insulted his religious feelings," according to the paper's report. The court sentenced him to 12 years and nine months in prison. When the prison sentence was announced, Haidar tossed his shoe in the direction of the judge and attempted to secure the firearm of a police officer. The combined sentences from 2017 and Wednesday likely mean that Haidar could serve a prison term longer than 20 years.

Haidar wrote in a letter to cousins that judge is a "whore" and the other judges are her "pimps." He wrote in the letter that he wants to kill the judges. Haidar also admitted in a letter that he sent to the court that he wanted to carry out a campaign of bloody Dire Revenge on Germans and Christians. The German Bild paper reported that he wrote the panel of judges overseeing his case:

"I promise, if I get a pig from your worshipers of the cross in the hands, I will drink his blood. I'll spit at you and your cross. "

Two shopkeepers killed, as many passers-by injured in groups clash in Gujrat
2019-09-03
[DAWN] GUJRAT: Two shopkeepers were killed on Sunday and as many passersby, including a woman, sustained bullet injuries allegedly when armed men of two local politicians (who happen to be brothers) belonging to rival parties — PML-Q and PML-N — exchanged fire in Kotla Bazaar in Kakrali police precincts over rent collection.

The rival groups are being respectively headed by Naeem Raza Kotla of the PML-Q and MNA Abid Raza Kotla of the PML-N who have a history of political and family rivalry spanning over the past 12 years.

The fresh clash, according to police and local sources, erupted over collection of monthly rent of some shops owned by the Kotla family located in the main bazaar of Kotla Town.

They said the clash triggered when armed men of PML Q’s Naeem Raza, also a former advisor to the Punjab chief minister (in 2002), demanded the rent from some shopkeepers doing business in the Kotla family’s market. Meanwhile, armed men of MNA Abid Raza of PML-N also reached there, and challenged their rivals.

In the ensuing exchange of fire between the rival groups, two brothers --Shahzad Ahmed and Ijaz Ahmed — belonging to Saddowal village, who ran a tailoring shop in the same market, sustained bullet injuris. As a result, Shahzad died on the spot whereas Ijaz later succumbed to his critical injuries at the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital (ABSTH).

However, none of the armed men resorting to crossfire were hurt in the incident.

A passerby woman, Tazeem Bibi and an onlooker Zafar Iqbal were also injured in the crossfire. They too were shifted to the ABSTH where their condition was said to be stable.

Superintendent of Police (investigation) Ghulam Mustafa Gillani and Kharian DSP Asad Ishaq heading a contingent reached the scene where homicide unit of the police collected evidence.

Meanwhile, the families and relatives of the deceased brothers staged a protest demonstration by placing the bodies on the GT Road, against delay in registration of double murder case against the culprits, causing disruption in traffic.

Following the protest, the police booked heads of the both groups — MNA Abid Raza and Naeem Raza on charges of double murder under sections 302, 324, 148 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the report of Javed Ahmed, the third brother of the deceased men.
