He also spoke about being threatened to change his seat and "forced to join" the Pakistain Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistain. The politician said he stands with Imran Khan and his workers who worked for him day and night to get him elected by the constituency's people, despite being forced to leave the seat. "I will die but never leave Imran Khan's side. Thousands of such seats can be sacrificed for Imran Khan and the people of my constituency," he said, adding he has no interest in becoming a member of the provincial assembly. Jadoon won the PS-115 seat after securing 20,609 votes against PPP's Muhammad Asif Khan in the February 8 general elections. However, nothing needs reforming like other people's bad habits... the PPP claimed its candidate was declared the winner in the recounting. In a separate audio being attributed to Jadoon and released this morning, the politician allegedly said he was receiving phone calls from different private numbers pressuring him to join other political parties and quit PTI. Jadoon added that when he refused to do so, they threatened him with snatching the seat. "I have all three forms — 47, 48 and 49. Even though no recounting is held after the issuance of From 48," he said. However, nothing needs reforming like other people's bad habits... Jadoon said at 3:30pm, he was verbally informed by the returning officer's office that the recount of the votes would be held at 5pm on Wednesday. The politician, in the audio, also spoke about "rigging" and "tampering" in Form 45, claiming that he was declared the winner in Form 47 on February 9 night with a lead of around 1,700 to 1,800 votes. PTI-BACKED EJAZ KHAN SWATI FROM PS-88 JOINS PPP On the other hand, another newly elected PTI-backed independent candidate from PS-88 in Malir, Ejaz Khan Swati, announced joining the PPP following his win in the general polls. In a video statement, Swati spoke about his intention to join the PPP for the betterment of the people, his friends and the overall welfare and prosperity of the constituency. He said his decision to join the party is unconditional, with the sole purpose of serving the people of his constituency. Swati was elected as an independent candidate with the support of PTI from PS-88 Malir, thereby increasing the number of PPP members in the Sindh Assembly to 86. In response to Swati's announcement, PTI Karachi's President Khurram Sher Zaman said the party has decided to suspend the politician's membership. Speaking to Geo News, Zaman said if those who take an oath in the name of Allah are not ours, then they cannot belong to anyone else either. He urged the PPP to refrain from including "such traitors" in its fold.

He said that the murderous Moslems had planned to sabotage across the prov­ince and wanted to target important installations and other religious places. The police had regis­tered four cases against the alleged murderous Moslems in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, DG Khan and Gu­jranwala, he added. The front man added that 248 combing operations were also conducted during the current week with the help of police and security agencies in which 11,528 people were checked and 51 suspects were arrested while 39 FIRs were regis­tered and 15 recoveries were made.

The incident comes five days after 10 suspected bad boyz were potted in a shootout with security forces during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan's Awaran area. "These bully boyz were involved in firing on security forces, which resulted in martyrdom of Lance Naik Mohammad Iqbal on Dec 20 in the Awaran area," the ISPR had said at the time. 3 Afghan Women Killed In Pakistani Shelling

More on this story from yesterday [ToloNews] Three women were killed and four others were maimed, including children, in shelling by Pakistain’s troops on Sunday, local officials in Kunar confirmed Monday. The shelling started at 3pm local time on Sunday in Nari district and Afghan forces responded, said the front man for the provincial governor, Abdul Ghani Samim. "Three women have been killed in the shelling and an old man, woman and two children were maimed in the incident," Samim said, adding "the incident happened when missiles hit civilian houses." "The festivities started at 3pm local on Sunday and stopped at 7pm but resumed today (Monday) at 8am and are still continuing," he said. "Pak troops are trying to create check points near the district," he added. Reinforcements have been deployed to the area, according to officials. In the meantime, Afghan MPs on Monday session in a joint statement condemned the Pak attacks on Afghan soil and "called for an immediate stop." "The government, the United States and the international community must address to these issues," the MPs said in a statement. Khaama Press adds: The clash broke out at around 4:30 pm local time in Do Kalam area of Nari district and continued for several hours. Sher Zaman Munshi, a member of the provincial council confirmed the incident and said the clash broke out after the Afghan forces prevented the Pak troops intrusion in Do Kalam. Munshi further added that the Pak troops had intruded 300 to 400 meters inside Do Kalam and were attempting to establish military posts.

Senior Haqqani Network leader killed in Paktia province

[KhaamaPress] A big shot of the notorious Haqqani Network was killed during the operations of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces in south-eastern Paktia province. The Ministry of Interior in a statement said the Sher Zaman alias Mohammad Omar, a big shot of the Haqqani terrorist network who was in charge of intelligence activities of the network in Syed Karam district was killed during the operations which were conducted on Tuesday. The statement further added that the operation was conducted in Kohsin and Adram Khel villages of Syed Karam district. At least three other members of the network were also maimed during the same operations, the Ministry of Interior added in its statement. Family of Karachi kid caught in crossfire demands justice

Ten-year-old Sajjad Khan had sustained a gunshot wound to the head after being caught in the crossfire that ensued when police say they came across a "wanted criminal" named Sher Zaman. The boy had later expired at the hospital. Two coppers, another 12-year-old boy, and the suspect himself were also injured during the exchange of fire. "It is correct that Sajjad Khan, 10, was rubbed out during an exchange of fire but we do not know whose shot caused his death," said Saddam Husain, a cousin of the victim.

The NDS Special Forces also confiscated some weapons, munitions, and drugs during the operation, the provincial government said in its statement. The anti-government armed forces of Evil including Taliban have not commented regarding the report so far.

Body found in Badin was of rights activist, say police

Addressing a presser in his office on Wednesday, Badin SSP Irfan Hussain Samoon said Jamila was tortured to death by her husband Javed Lashari and her young stepson Junaid Ahmed Lashari in their house in Latifabad area of Hyderabad on May 4. They then took her body to Badin by car and dumped it near the banks of the LBOD with the help of accused Sher Zaman Loond on May 5. FIA seeks capital punishment in Benazir case, says ATC passed verdict 'in a hurry'

Last month, ATC had announced the verdict in the murder case, acquitting five Tehrik-e-Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... Pakistain (TTP) suspects ‐ Rafaqat Hussain, Husnain Gul, Sher Zaman, Rashid Ahmed and Aitzaz Shah ‐ and announcing 17-year imprisonment for two former police officials. The court had also declared retired Gen Pervez Perv Musharraf ... former dictator of Pakistain, who was less dictatorial and corrupt than any Pak civilian government to date ... an absconder in the case. The FIA moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the sentence through two separate petitions submitted on Friday. The first one argues that the two convicted culprits were not punished under the terrorism charges which were part of the case. The counsel for the agency also said that the ATC passed the verdict in a hurry without fulfilling legal requirements. According to the petition, filed in the Rawalpindi registry of the LHC, the two coppers ‐ former City Police Officer Saood Aziz and former Superintendent Police Khurrum Shahzad ‐ were sentenced under only two clauses each, whereas several other clauses, including terrorism, were also part of the case.

The letter said Zaman may act in connivance with other members of the network to conduct terrorist activities in Rawalpindi and may therefore be a danger to public lives and property.

As decided by a general house meeting of the bar, the president did not appear before the bench seized with the contempt proceedings while other contemnor, Syed Qaiser Abbas Kazmi, attended the hearing.

Two injured in Barkhan clash

QUETTA: Two persons were injured in a clash between two groups in Barkhan. Levies said on Sunday that two groups developed a dispute over a petty issue and attacked each other. “Two men received injuries in a clash,” it said adding that the injured were shifted to hospital. The injured were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed and Sher Zaman. The levies force has been investigating into the incident. Further probe is underway.
