British MP files case against Israel in International Criminal Court
2023-12-18
Filing is easy. Getting the court to actually take up the case...
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Independent Member of the British Parliament, Claudia Webb, has filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court to investigate Israeli war crimes in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, demanding that the perpetrators be prosecuted.

The MP for Leicester East said, in a post on her account on the "X" platform, that the scale of the bombing of Gaza and the loss of civilian lives requires immediate action.

Claudia added, "I will not be an accomplice to the crimes that occur in Gaza."

"As a member of the British Parliament, I signed a complaint to the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and prosecute their perpetrators." She said.

Claudia, known in Britannia for her stances in support of peoples’ rights to self-determination, stressed, saying, "We cannot remain silent."

In a second post, she called on her supporters to sign the international initiative "Justice for Gaza," with the aim of mobilizing international positions to stop the war against civilians in the Strip.

British rapper-turned Jihadi Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, 32, who was long thought to be one of the ISIS Beatles is found dead in his Spanish prison cell while awaiting a verdict on terror charges
2023-07-27
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A former British rapper once believed to be the ISIS killer 'Jihadi' John has been found dead in his prison cell in Spain.

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary,
...another Anjem Choudary protégé and 2nd gen jihadi...
32, had been tried earlier this month at a court in Madrid on suspicion of heading an itinerant jihadist cell he allegedly formed after leaving Syria, and was awaiting the verdict.

He is understood to have been found dead at a prison in El Puerto de Santa Maria in Cadiz, south west Spain. One unconfirmed local report said his body presented no obvious signs of any violence.
too bad.
An internal Spanish Prison service investigation will now take place and his family will be given the right to hold their own autopsy aside from the official post-mortem to establish the exact cause of death.

A separate probe will be carried out by a court in the town of El Puerto de Santa Maria.

He was arrested with two men described as aides less than a week after they were smuggled onto a beach on Spain's south-east coastline in April 2020.

Abdel Bary was born in Egypt but schooled in London. He was stripped of his British citizenship after allegedly joining ISIS and was charged after a long-running investigation sparked by his arrest at a hideaway rented flat in Almeria.

Investigating judge Maria Tardon concluded in her written ruling outlining her decision to charge him that he had been smuggled into Spain by boat with two Algerian men less than a week before he was located and held.

He was warned before his trial at Madrid's Audiencia Nacional court, which finished on July 14, he could face nine years in prison if convicted.

On the opening day of his trial he denied all terrorism charges against him, insisting he had never been in the Syrian city of Raqqa before claiming he went to the country for humanitarian reasons.

Prosecutors said in a pre-trial indictment that the former British national, the son of Adel Abdel Bari
...an Al Qaeda Big Turban who didn't spend nearly enough time in prison — or possibly too much, depending on one’s philosophy about such things...
who confessed to murdering more than 200 people in a series of Islamist bombings in Africa, used bitcoin to buy stolen or cloned bank cards on the Dark Web.

His alleged accomplices, named before the trial as Abderrazak Seddiki, 30, and Kossaila Chollouah, 27 were accused in a pre-trial indictment of playing other key roles in the fraud including carding which is a type of credit card scam in which a criminal steals or fraudulently uses credit card details to buy prepaid gift cards.

He was alleged to have posted an image of himself holding a severed head on Twitter.

He was accused of posing for a photo with the head in the Syrian city of Raqqa with the caption 'Chillin' with my homie or what's left of him' in August 2014.

The alleged terrorist, who at his trial showed he had put on considerable weight since his arrest, denied it was him with the severed head.

Insisting he and his family had lived in the UK for more than 30 years and completely adopted a Western lifestyle, Abdel Bary told the court trying him: 'Al Qaeda and all the radical extremists… I hate them. I don't agree with their ideology or actions.'

Abdel Bary claimed to be a Syrian national called Ahmed Mohamed Al Oulabi when he was held in Almeria in April 2020.

Reports at the time said he was arrested after police spotters identified him by his ears when he opened a second-floor door to receive a kebab takeout from an Uber Eats kebab delivery man.

UK remands Islamist preacher in custody on terror charges
2023-07-25
Both arrested a week ago, but clearly not to be trusted out on bail until convicted and starting their formal prison sentences.
[IsraelTimes] Radical holy man Anjem Choudary was arrested together with a Canadian man; both are charged with being members of a terrorist organization

British Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary
...self-proclaimed holy man who used to work for Omar Mohammed Bakdri as spokesman for al-Muhajiroun. Anjem is a loathesome little attention prostitute who is to be heard cheering for the home team anytime anybody with a turban manages to slaughter a group of unarmed infidels. Anjem was born in the UK in 1967 and is, as you would expect, of Pakistaini descent. The Ghost of Dante is of the opinion that when he goes to hell his knees will be broken once a month. He was in jug for awhile for supporting the Islamic State...
was remanded in jug by a UK magistrate on Monday, after London’s Metropolitan police charged him with three terrorism offenses.

Choudary, 56, faces charges of belonging to a proscribed organization, addressing meetings to encourage support for a proscribed organization and directing a terrorist organization, the force said.

A 28-year-old Canadian, Khaled Hussein,
...anyone know what his birth name was? He somehow doesn’t look like a Khaled...
was also ordered held in jug after he was charged with membership of a proscribed organization.

Both appeared separately at Westminster Magistrates Court in London, which heard that the charges relate to "an extreme form of Islam."

"The charges relate to the proscribed organization al-Muhajiroun
...formerly Omar Bakri Muhammad's spin off group from Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain, where the detestable lunatic Anjem Chaudry got his start. More recently the name adopted by al-Qaeda in East Africa for operations in Kenya and Tanzania. It is subordinate to al-Shabaab but will probably be strong enough to fly on its own, given an uninterrupted flow of petrodollars, should the Shaboobs collapse....
, also known as the Islamic Thinkers Society," prosecutor Nick Price said.
Anjem Choudary’s branch fed fighters to both Al Qaeda and ISIS, being the connection to oodles of vicious men in our archives and beyond.
"Criminal proceedings against Mr. Choudary and Mr. Hussein are now active and they each have the right to a fair trial," he added.

Chief magistrate Paul Goldspring ordered the pair remanded in jug and set their next appearance, at the central criminal courthouse known as the Old Bailey, on August 4.

Choudary, from east London, wore a black jacket and glasses, and spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during Monday’s 30-minute court hearing. He was not asked to enter any pleas to the three charges.

A lawyer for Hussein, who is from Edmonton in the Canadian province Alberta, said he would not be entering a plea. The defendant spoke — in a Canadian accent — only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

He is alleged to have been in "close contact" with Choudary online to provide "a platform" for the group’s views for around two years, the court heard.

Counterterror officers investigating alleged membership of the proscribed organization arrested both men last Monday, the Metropolitan police has said.

Officers detained Choudary in east London and held Hussein at Heathrow Airport after he arrived on a flight.
The BBC has a photo of the weedy, Canadian-looking Mr. Hussein, adding:
Mr Hussein is charged with being a member of Al Muhajiroun. Prosecutors allege he helped set up its Canadian branch and say he was "in effect working for" Choudary.

An offshoot of Al-Muhajiroun was banned, or proscribed, in 2006 for glorifying terrorism.

That ban was expanded in 2010 to include a number of other names, including Al-Muhajiroun.

Britain's Most Notorious ‘Hate Preacher' Anjem Choudary Arrested on Suspected Terror Offence
2023-07-18
[Breitbart] Released from his prison sentence for supporting the Islamic State in 2018 and under tough legal controls preventing him from associating with suspected terrorists and from preaching until 2021, the infamous radical who calls for hardline Sharia for Britain has been arrested again.

Police investigating suspected terror offences arrested notorious hate preacher Anjem Choudary
...self-proclaimed holy man who used to work for Omar Mohammed Bakdri as spokesman for al-Muhajiroun. He was in jug for awhile for supporting the Islamic State...
in a dawn raid at his East London home on Monday morning. A second man, who is a Canadian citizen, was arrested at Heathrow Airport as he arrived on a flight from Canada later that day.

A police statement said both were arrested “on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation” and are being held under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000. Per the government’s own summary of that law, “police officers have the power to arrest persons suspected of terrorism-related offences without a warrant. These arrest powers also allow the extended detention of persons beyond the maximum 4 days available under standard arrest powers, to a maximum of 14 days”.

Anjem Choudary, once a regular figure appearing in British media and well-known for his extremist Islamist views and calls for Sharia law to be enforced in the United Kingdom, was convicted in 2016 for urging Muslims to support the Islamic State in videos published online. Although he was sentenced to five and a half years, he was released less than halfway through his sentence.

As reported at the time, the short sentence was blamed on “lack of evidence” but the government said at the time of his 2018 release that he would be watched “like a hawk” by the security services to prevent his “deeply pernicious, destabilising influence” from spreading in the country again. At the time of his release, he was subjected to a wide range of restrictions including orders preventing him from speaking in public, restricted his internet and phone usage, and limited his personal contact with suspected extremists. As noted, these were said to be some of the most strict release conditions ever imposed on a prisoner in British legal history.

Choudary was even ordered to attend deradicalisation lessons, but as previous experience has shown, these can have limited impact. The ban on Choudary speaking in public was lifted in 2021.

Dangerous terrorists to be sent straight to new high-risk prison wings under new Government rules
2022-07-24
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Terrorists will be sent straight to special extremist wings in jails under new rules

  • Currently prisoners can only be moved to the units upon signs of radicalisation

  • The rule even applies to convicted terrorists who have history of preaching hate
Units for prisons’ most high-risk, radicalising terrorists were established in 2017 to stop extremists spreading their ideology to other inmates. Currently there are three such units in operation across the country, which held around ten terrorists earlier this year.

The Government is moving to expand the use of the units – known as separation centres – and has now changed the rules so that prisoners can be referred to the wings immediately after being sentenced in court.

Previously jail staff could apply to move extremists into the units as a last resort and only after spotting any tell-tale signs of radicalisation inside prison – even when a convicted terrorist has a long-documented history of preaching hate.

Among those who have been held in the units are a high-explosives bomb expert, an Islamic State fighter, and reportedly Hashem Abedi, who organised and directed the Manchester Arena bomb attack which killed 22 people in 2017.

Radical hate preacher Anjem Choudary, who was released in 2018, was one of the first prisoners to be held in the terror unit at HMP Frankland, near Durham.

A second unit at HMP Woodhill, Milton Keynes, is now fully operational, and a third specialist terror wing at HMP Full Sutton, near York, is on standby.

There are currently around 220 terrorist offenders in UK jails, with a similar number on an ‘at-risk’ radar over fears they could be radicalised, more than four-fifths of which are of Islamist ideology.

Authorities believe the 24-year-old man, who wasn’t identified, was part of a group that sought to strike a church in England, possibly St. Paul´s Cathedral in London, but British police thwarted the plot, Norwegian broadcaster NRK reported Monday.

The man was also allegedly involved in plans for one or more attacks in Denmark in March and April 2019 with help from at least one Danish citizen, prosecutor Geir Evanger told NRK. Those attacks are believed to have been prevented as well.

The man has maintained his innocence. If found guilty, the man who claims to be innocent, faces up to 21 years in jail, NRK said. The trial starts in Oslo on May 18.

Evanger was quoted as saying by NRK that as to his involvement in IS, the man spread "extremist material, violent mostly peaceful material and material with religious content" online. He was an administrator for several groups on social media, including some he had created, the prosecutor said, adding they consider him to be "a relatively central participant in many of these groups."

NRK said the man had been held in jug for a while.

It wasn’t immediately known whether the case was linked to the July sentencing in London of Safiyya Sheikh, a British woman who had converted to Islam. She was locked away

I scrolled through a few days of Breitbart’s London/Europe articles, collecting the best for your delectation in this time of Covid lockdowns, dear Reader. It will be interesting to see how things change after emergency measures are ended.
Nota bene: Breitbart’s latest Britain and Europe articles are always listed here, if you don’t want to wait for someone else to get around to posting articles.
Prison to Terror Pipeline Encouraged by ‘Soft’ Treatment of Convicted Terrorists: Report
[Breitbart] Britain’s prison system is facilitating the spread of extremist ideologies by taking a soft approach to convicted terrorists, the government’s independent terrorism watchdog has found.
As Theodore Dalrymple would have predicted...
Jonathan Hall, QC, the government’s independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said that prisons are not adequately punishing convicted terrorists for attempting to incite violence by radicalising other inmates.

In October, two radical Islamic inmates were found guilty of attempted murder against a prison guard, who they tried to stab to death. One of the inmates, Brusthom Ziamani, 25, was already serving a 22-year-sentence for plotting to behead a soldier.

Earlier this month, Islamist terrorist Khairi Saadallah received a rare whole life sentence for killing three men with a knife and injuring three others during an attack in Reading last summer.

During his trial, it was revealed that the 26-year-old Libyan national was further radicalised by a “prominent radical preacher” Omar Brooks — a member of infamous Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary‘s banned al-Muhajiroun organisation — while he was serving time in prison for a non-terror-related crime.

Former prisoners have also committed terrorist attacks in Streatham and on London Bridge.

A previous independent review carried out by Professor Ian Acheson in 2016, found that Islamic extremism was a “growing problem” in British prisons. Despite this, there was “widespread reluctance” from prison administrators to enact reforms and crackdown on the extremist behaviour “because of the fear of being labelled racist“, government sources claimed at the time.

Migrant Terrorist Free to Kill Despite 7 Convictions
[Breitbart] Islamic extremist Khairi Saadallah had been a member of the Islamic Ansar al-Sharia terrorist organisation in Libya, with his bogus asylum claim being rejected by Britain’s Home Office all the way back in 2012.

The authorities failed to remove him, however, despite his rapid collection of absconding incidents, criminal convictions, and prison sentences, culminating in his “execution” of three men in a public park in a radical Islamic terror attack, just days after he had been released early from a sentence for previous terror offences.

Despite tough talk on deportation from Home Secretary Priti Patel, the (already low) number of removals actually plummetted by 79 per cent in 2020, while mass legal immigration and illegal immigration have both risen dramatically during her and Boris Johnson’s tenure.

UK Migrant Camp Under COVID Lockdown Amid Mass Rule Breaking
[Breitbart] The migrant camp in Kent has been placed under lockdown after an outbreak of the Chinese coronavirus in the former army barracks amidst widespread flouting of the rules by the alleged asylum seekers.

At least 100 of the 400 migrant men housed in the Napier Barracks in Folkestone are believed to have contracted the coronavirus, which the government has blamed on the illegals for failing to abide by social distancing regulations and even refusing to take COVID-19 tests.

Just last week, migrants at the camp staged a protest in clear violation of the UK’s coronavirus lockdown measures, which prohibit mass gatherings. Last week a similar protest was staged at the Penally Army Centre near the small Welsh village of Tenby, which was also converted into a migrant camp last year, amidst record waves of illegal boat migration.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, who released footage of the protest, remarked: “Now it would appear that one of the reasons for the protest in Tenby is they don’t like the conditions. They say they are entitled to a more normal life.

“They are only entitled to it if their claim for refugee status is successful. But the Home Office committee themselves say that 81 per cent of those come into the country don’t even qualify for asylum because they’ve come already from a safe country.”

As of September of last year, there are some 60,548 alleged asylum seekers in the country, all of whom are guaranteed taxpayer-funded accommodations.

The migrants are also afforded a weekly allowance of at least £35.39, as well as access to National Health Service (NHS) healthcare, and taxpayer-funded education for children between the ages of five and 17.
