Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran strike causes biggest flight disruption since 9/11
2024-04-16
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Seems there is a lesson the Dems would learn about their greatest foreign policy coup, a real coup, BTW. But they won't.

[Regnum] More than ten major international airlines experienced disruptions as a result of Iran's attack on Israel. Reuters reported this on April 15.
How terrible!
International airlines faced flight disruptions on Monday after Iranian missile and drone strikes on Israel further reduced capacity for planes flying between Europe and Asia.

It is noted that as a result of the Iranian attack, airlines such as Lufthansa, United Airlines and Air India had to cancel or reschedule flights.

According to the founder of the consulting company OPSGROUP, Mark Zee, the escalation of the Middle East conflict has resulted in the largest disruption of aviation flights since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001. Due to an Iranian attack on Israeli territory, the aircraft were forced to skirt Iranian airspace a

As Regnum reported, on the night of April 14, Iran carried out a massive attack on Israeli territory using several hundred missiles and drones in response to an Israeli military attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus. The attack by the Iranian army lasted at least five hours. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi called it the legitimate right of the Iranian side to self-defense.

The Iranian state television channel Press TV reported on April 15 that all hypersonic missiles used in the attack on Israel successfully overcame Israeli air defenses and hit their intended targets. Before this, the TV channel clarified that Iran used at least seven hypersonic missiles during attacks on Israel.

After the Iranian attack, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern about the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, calling for restraint on all parties to the conflict. The Foreign Ministry recalled that the Russian side strongly condemned the attack on the Iranian consulate, but this was not done by the UN Security Council due to the position of Western countries.

Remember that Terror Compound in New Mexico?
2024-03-08
The latest on the denizens of the Amalia, NM jihadi compound.
[KRQE] Six years after the FBI uncovered a terrorist plot at a compound in northern New Mexico, the five people responsible now know their fate.

“Finally, to be able to put this to bed, to give some finality in sentence and some justice, it feels great.” That’s New Mexico’s U.S. Attorney Alexander Uballez satisfied with Wednesday’s sentencing of five people connected to a terrorist plot in northern New Mexico.

“The horrifying events that played out in graphic detail during this three-week trial, radical ideologies to violent extremist beliefs, the banality of everyday life centered around the corpse of a dead child in a fortified compound in rural New Mexico,” Uballez said.

Siraj Wahhaj,
...also known as Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Sirraj Ibn Wahhaj. Siraj [Jr.] is the son of Siraj Wahhaj [Sr.], a Brooklyn imam whose mother welcomed him into the world as Jeffrey Kearse. Siraj Sr. was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and a character witness in the trial of convicted terror plotter Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman (“the blind sheikh”), and is connected to the several branches of the Moslem Brotherhood in America. He mentored pussy hat leader Linda Sarsour....
his sisters Hujrah and Subhanah, and Subhanah’s husband Lucas Morton were sentenced to life in prison.

The ring leader of the group, Jany Leveille, took a plea deal. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison. “She took responsibility, she took it early and she took it fully, and here in the United States Justice System we value folks who redeem themselves by taking responsibility for the terrible things that they did,” Uballez said.

It all started after a federal raid uncovered a terrorist training ground in Taos County back in 2018. Documents state the group was plotting and training children to carry out attacks on FBI agents and government institutions. The feds found the five adults and 11 malnourished children on the property. A property that authorities say was heavily militarized. “The sentencing imposed today sent a clear message, the FBI takes its mission of protecting the American public seriously,” Ruben Morales with the FBI said.

The feds claimed the group kidnapped Siraj Wahhaj’s three-year-old son from his mother in Georgia and took him to the property where he was subjected to exorcism rituals. Authorities believe they were planning to use the child as a prop in their plot to kill those who did not convert and follow Leveille. That child later died in 2017. “The heart of this case is a senseless death of three-year-old Abdul Ghani, as a father myself, I offer my deepest condolences,” Uballez said.

Documents state Leveille covered up the death and convinced the group the boy would be resurrected. She was found to have acute schizophrenia that led to hallucinations and says she heard voices that made her believe she was a prophet. Leveille spoke Wednesday in court apologizing for her part and to her co-defendants saying ‘this wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t sick.’

“While today’s sentencing can not take away the pain or fill the void of the innocent child who was kidnapped and subsequently lost his life, I sincerely hope there’s some comfort in knowing those who committed these terrible crimes have been brought to justice,” Morales said.

A federal jury convicted Wahhaj and Morton on terrorism charges. The two sisters, Hujrah and Subhanah, are also facing kidnapping charges, including kidnapping resulting in death. Leveille pled guilty to conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and being in possession of a firearm while unlawfully in the United States. Once her sentence is complete, she will be deported back to Haiti because she was in the country illegally.

Hundreds protest against Israel, war in Gaza inside New York’s Museum of Modern Art
2024-02-12
[IsraelTimes] Hundreds of pro-Paleostinian protesters held a demonstration inside New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on Saturday afternoon, forcing the museum to close its doors several hours early, at around 4 p.m., arts and culture website Hyperallergic reports.

Close to 800 protesters filled the museum’s atrium in protest of alleged investments into Israel’s military weapons by the museum’s trustees.

The protesters distributed more than 1,000 imitation MoMA pamphlets criticizing trustees Leon Black, Larry Fink, Paula Crown, Marie-Josée Kravis and Ronald S. Lauder, the report states, and hung a banner over the lobby that read "MoMA Trustees Fund Genocide, Apartheid, and Settler Colonialism."

In videos posted to social media, hundreds of people chant "Free Free Paleostine" as they stand under various signs and banners reading "Ceasefire now," "Long live Gazoo

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. " and "From the river to the sea," which is a shortened version of the popular anti-Israel chant "From the river to the sea, Paleostine will be free."

After around 15 minutes, the museum’s security guards began turning people away at the doors and allowed people inside the building to exit, the report says.

A similar protest took place at the MoMA in May 2021, amid Operation Guardian of the Walls
ArtNews adds:

New York—originally formed in response to the AIDS crisis— about how she personally led an affinity group of anti-Zionist Jews, artists, and ACT UP members to the protest at MoMA “because we are all here to take a stand against genocide.”

According to an Instagram post by Alexa Blair Wilkinson, a photojournalist and graphic designer who attended the protest, no arrests were made and the sit-in dispersed around 6pm.

The protest at MoMA was organized by the Writers Against the War on Gaza

and the New York chapter of the Palestinian Youth Movement.
...one of a number of virulently anti-Israel protest groups sponsored by the Westchester People’s Action Coalition — they do intersectional stuff when not overtly acting against Israel ...
A statement read out loud by protestors said “This action builds on the work of Strike MoMA, Gulf Labor, Art Workers Coalition, and more broadly, on resistance movements including the undying fight for Black Liberation, prison abolition, and Indigenous sovereignty.”
See? Cause junkies secretly hoping their fierce devotion to everything coming down the pike will somehow improve their mating prospects.
Estimates of the crowd of protestors at the Museum of Modern Art ranged from “more than 500” to “more than 800” people.
So at least 200. Got it.
Earlier on Saturday, Within Our Lifetime, a grassroots Palestinian-led community organization, held a protest at the Brooklyn Museum.

Photographer Stephanie Keith posted on Instagram that “NYPD made about 10 arrests while the protest was in front of the Museum including @protestnsurvive who is a credentialed member of New York City media.”

MoMA and the Brooklyn Museum did not respond to ARTnews‘ requests for comment. Writers Against The War on Gaza said in an email statement, “WAWOG does not give comment to publications owned by Penske Media.”

In NY, Jewish Columbia student alleges harassment by violent anti-Israel protesters

[IsraelTimes] Noah Lederman says a toxic atmosphere on campus led to his being pinned against a wall as he fled a demonstration co-organized and endorsed by student organizations.

The incident occurred late afternoon on February 2 after more than 500 pro-Paleostinian demonstrators turned out for the "All Out for Paleostine" protest.

The protest was organized by Within Our Lifetime. Columbia University Apartheid Divest co-organized the demonstration, which was endorsed by over 80 campus organizations.

Lederman decided to attend a small counter-protest in support of Israel after a friend asked him to accompany her.

Lederman said he decided to leave when the chanting and banner-waving pro-Paleostinian demonstrators started marching south down Broadway. He ducked into Book Culture bookstore on 115th Street, where he met up with his roommate. The two then started walking north, thinking it would be the safest route to their dorm.

When they got to 120th Street, it looked like a group of protesters were marching toward them. Lederman, wearing his Israeli flag T-shirt and a kippah, said he kept his head down as he tried to walk briskly past the group.

It was then that a man in a keffiyeh, a traditional men’s headscarf that has become a symbol of Paleostinian nationalism, spotted Lederman’s shirt and allegedly ordered the other protesters to fan out. Before Lederman understood what was happening, he said, he felt himself being shoved against the wall, unable to move.

He finally broke free and ran. And as he ran, Lederman said, the man yelled, "Keep f—ing running."

Lederman reported the incident to the NYPD and the University Department of Public Safety. According to Columbia, it’s the responsibility of the NYPD to handle the investigation since the alleged incident happened outside the campus gates.

Lederman said he’s less concerned with the man’s motives than he is with the overall climate that allowed the incident to unfold, saying it’s indicative of a general toxic atmosphere that has engulfed the Columbia campus since October 7.

"Columbia allowed things to progress... tolerance for violence begets violence," he said. "The climate on campus has made it possible for demonstrators on campus to feel they are untouchable. I want accountability from the university."

Columbia is one of several schools being investigated by the US Department of Education’s (DOE) Office of Civil Rights for allowing alleged antisemitic harassment to take place on school grounds and by registered student groups. An investigation means the DOE has identified a credible allegation that civil rights law has been violated.

Under Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, colleges and universities receiving federal money must protect students from discrimination based on race, color or national origin. This includes Jews, Moslems and other ethnic or religious groups with "shared ancestry." The university stands to lose federal funding if a civil rights violation is found.

-War on Police-
Derek Chauvin's imprisonment is a gross miscarriage of justice
2024-01-21
[AmericanThinker] One of the problems we face in our country is the common practice of many people giving opinions on things they know nothing about. Police work is at the top of the list of things people comment about without a scintilla of experience in law enforcement. Take the George Floyd fiasco, which became the perfect opportunity for left-wing, anti-police propaganda. The arrest of a degenerate, drug-addled criminal, with a rap sheet that should have kept him off the street for decades, became the rallying cry for every lowlife radical with a hatred for the rule of law. The photo of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, with his knee on Floyd’s neck, was disseminated throughout the world, faster than the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.

That photo, along with the words “I can’t breathe” and the subsequent death of Floyd, whose arteries were almost completely blocked from severe heart disease, complicated by large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamines in his system, was enough to spark riots in several countries. The fact that officer Chauvin and a few other cops had been struggling with the violent ex-con for several minutes as he was resisting arrest didn’t make a difference to all those opinion columnists and editors, none of whom were at the scene to view what led up to the knee incident. Moreover, the film footage of the battle that occurred just before Floyd ended up on the ground, didn’t show up in mass media for weeks. Not that it would have mattered, because the photo was all that was needed to give license to rampaging thugs from coast to coast.

During my 20 years with the NYPD, I struggled with hundreds, if not thousands of George Floyds during arrest situations. If you’ve never been a cop, you have no idea how difficult it is to put handcuffs on and arrest a prisoner who fights it. Floyd was 6’ 4” tall and weighed about 200 pounds. I’ve had tough times trying to put cuffs on women who were half his size.

Imagine that you’re a cop, and you tell a wanted felon he’s under arrest. Imagine further that he says something like, “You ain’t taking me in, m-----------!” Should you stop to think about the fact that he’s black, and therefore any action you take could end up making you the bad guy?

Or should you decide to do your job and engage in a violent encounter with him? Of course, you could slink away in fear and hope no one noticed that you shirked your duty. Officer Chauvin and a few other cops on the scene grappled with Floyd as they tried to get him into the police car after he had been cuffed. Floyd used the tactics of every street hustler facing more time in prison. He squirmed, kicked, and pleaded not to be taken in. When he ended up on the ground, Chauvin held him in place with a knee to the back of his neck. I’ve used that restraining move many times with recalcitrant prisoners. If they’d had as many drugs in their system as Floyd, and someone had snapped a picture, I, like Chauvin, might have become characterized as the symbol of jackbooted brutality, if the recidivist criminal had died.

Chauvin was a family man, an active cop with 19 years’ experience, and numerous arrests that took a lot of hardened criminals off the street. Now he’s in prison, sentenced to 19 years for doing the job he was trained to do. That’s right: the knee on the neck is part of the training in the Minneapolis P.D.

You know that the world has gone completely mad when crime is at an all-time high, and dedicated cops are being sent to prison for enforcing the law. Derek Chauvin’s imprisonment is more than a miscarriage of justice; it’s what happens when mob mentality defeats the sound practical judgment of common sense. How many jurors in his trial would have the courage to find him not guilty, knowing the consequences they’d face from area residents? Once that photo went viral, a fair trial was out of the question.

White House staff 'relocated' after pro-Palestinian rioters damage anti-scale fencing, hurl objects at cop; thousands protest in DC and elsewhere
2024-01-14
Where's Pelosi's National Guard?
Guess the SS gunning the crowd from the roof is a bad look in an election year.
Any FBI in the crowd?

[FoxNews] Anti-Israel protesters and rioters gathered outside the White House on Saturday night, with some demonstrators damaging security fencing and hurling objects at police.

The demonstrators were heard chanting "Ceasefire Now" and "Free, Free Palestine," with many waving Palestinian flags. "Yemen, Yemen make us proud / Turn another ship around," was also recited at the demonstration, hours after strikes were launched against the Houthis in Yemen.

The U.S. Secret Service told Fox News Digital that some fences were damaged outside the White House, and that staff members and journalists were "relocated" as a result. The White House also said on Saturday that President Biden is currently at Camp David.

"During the demonstration near the White House complex Jan. 13, a portion of the anti-scale fencing that was erected for the event sustained temporary damage," the statement read. "The issues were promptly repaired on site by U.S. Secret Service support teams."

"As a precaution, some members of the media and staff in proximity to Pennsylvania Avenue were temporarily relocated while the issue was being addressed," the statement continued. "The Secret Service made no arrests associated with the march and there was no property damage to the White House or adjacent buildings."

Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela A. Smith blasted illegal behavior from protesters in a press release on Saturday night.

The police chief added that some officers were assaulted by the demonstrators in Lafayette Park.

"While a majority of today’s demonstration remained peaceful, there were instances of illegal and destructive behavior in Lafayette Park, including items being thrown at our officers," Smith explained. "We are supporting our partners at the United States Park Police as they investigate and hold those found responsible accountable for their actions."

‘No votes for Genocide Joe’: Thousands demand ceasefire at DC pro-Palestinian protest

[IsraelTimes] Progressive participants split on whether they will support US president against Trump in November election due to his support for Israel in war against Hamas.

Medea Benjamin, a co-founder of the anti-war group CodePink, told The Associated Press that the moniker “Genocide Joe” will stick with Biden for a certain segment of the community because of his handling of the war in Gaza.

“I think the Democrats are playing with fire in many ways — playing with fire in that they’re supporting a genocide in Gaza but also playing with fire in terms of their own future,” Benjamin said.
The poor darlings. One would feel for them, truly, if they weren’t the ones who’d built the procrustean bed they now fond themselves in.
The plight of children in the Gaza Strip was the focus of the latest London march, symbolized by the appearance of Little Amal, a 3.5-meter (11.5-foot) puppet originally meant to highlight the suffering of Syrian refugees.

The puppet had become a human rights emblem during an 8,000-kilometer (4,970-mile) journey from the Turkish-Syrian border to Manchester in July 2001.

March organizers had said the Palestinian children would accompany Little Amal through the streets of central London.

“On Saturday Amal walks for those most vulnerable and for their bravery and resilience,“ said Amir Nizar Zuabi, artistic director of The Walk Productions. “Amal is a child and a refugee and today in Gaza childhood is under attack, with an unfathomable number of children killed. Childhood itself is being targeted. That’s why we walk.”

A pro-Israel rally was set to take place in London on Sunday.

The London march was one of several others being held in European cities including Paris, Rome, Milan and Dublin, where thousands also marched along the Irish capital’s main thoroughfare to protest Israel’s military operations against Hamas.

Protesters waved Palestinian flags, held placards critical of the Irish, US and Israeli governments and chanted, “Free, free Palestine.″

In Rome, hundreds of demonstrators descended on a boulevard near the famous Colosseum, with some carrying signs reading, “Stop Genocide.”

At one point during the protest, amid the din of sound effects mimicking exploding bombs, a number of demonstrators lied down in the street and pulled white sheets over themselves as if they were corpses, while others knelt beside them, their palms daubed in red paint.

Many hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Paris’ Republic Square to set off on a march calling for an immediate cease-fire, an end to the war, a lifting of the blockade on Gaza and to impose sanctions on Israel.

Marching protesters waved the Palestinian flag and held aloft placards and banners reading, “From Gaza to Paris. Resistance.”

Massive pro-Palestine protests erupt in New York City: HUNDREDS of demonstrators try to force their way into the World Trade Center as Times Square is taken over
2023-12-29
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Chants of 'Biden you will see, Palestine will be free' and ' Israel bombs, USA pays, how many kids did you kill today?' was part of the rhetoric used

  • The march to the World Trade Center was targeted around the entrance to the Oculus, a massive shopping center that also houses the PATH train

  • It continued the protests in a week where anti-Israel marchers have shut down traffic at JFK Airport

The Zuccotti Park protest was deemed an 'emergency' one by the pro-Palestine group Within Our Lifetime.
WOL started as a spinoff of the New York City branch of Students For Justice in Palestine, and has come to be the place for those who enjoy shouting nasty things and beating up Jews. They claim to be Palestinian youth expressing their demand for a one-state solution, that state being Palestinian and Judenfrei.
There have been over 500 demonstrations across the city since the Hamas terror attack in Israel on October 7 that killed 1,200, according to New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Tucker Carlson interview: Did the government destroy Alex Jones ?
2023-12-07
[Gateway] Tucker Carlson took to X and announced he would interview Info Wars Host Alex Jones.

Carlson’s interview with Jones, who has been considered one of the most banned men on the planet for speaking out against sinister plots of the globalists, will be released on Thursday.

In Tucker’s announcement, he wrote, "Alex Jones predicted 9-11, in detail and on camera, months before it happened. How did he do that?"

He continued, "And why did the government decide to destroy him after he did? The full interview on Thursday."

Carlson also posted a video of Alex Jones predicting the 9-11 attacks in great detail.

In a video recording months before 9/11 during his live show, Jones stated, "We Know the Joint Chief of Staffs wanted to blow up airliners, or if you let some terrorist group do it like the World Trade Center, we know who to blame and if there was an outside threat like a Bin Laden who is a known CIA asset from the 80s, he’s the boogeyman they need."

Government Corruption
Sam Faddis - 'Why the CIA No Longer Works‐and How to Fix It'
2023-11-30
[Imprimis] The following is adapted from a talk delivered at Hillsdale College on October 3, 2023, during a conference on "U.S. Intelligence: History and Controversies."

We need the CIA, but we also need to recognize the uncomfortable reality that the CIA is not performing at the level we require. It is not keeping us safe. It must be repaired, and it must be repaired quickly.

The CIA was created after World War II with one overriding primary mission—to prevent a reoccurrence of what happened at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. We were never going to allow an enemy to surprise us on that scale again. We were never going to find ourselves blind regarding a threat of that magnitude and immediacy. We would be forewarned and forearmed.

Then came 9/11. Members of Al Qaeda hijacked four airliners. They crashed three of them into their targets. They were prevented from succeeding with the fourth only by the heroism of the brave American passengers.

Al Qaeda was not some unknown entity. It had been around for years. Osama Bin Laden had threatened to attack us on our own soil for years. Al Qaeda had blown up two of our embassies in East Africa. Al Qaeda had almost sunk the USS Cole in Yemen. Al Qaeda had tried once before to take down the World Trade Center.

Yet we had not a single source inside that organization capable of warning us of the 9/11 attacks that would kill almost 3,000 Americans.

On May 2, 2011, U.S. special operations personnel attacked a compound in Pakistan and killed the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. That operation in and of itself was clearly a success. But the fact that it took us almost ten years after 9/11 to find and kill Bin Laden should give us pause.

Bin Laden fully understood the technical capabilities of American intelligence. After his escape from Afghanistan, he established himself in a compound with no internet service. He had no cell phone. He communicated with his organization via a courier system and dealt with those couriers face to face. There were no emails, text messages, or phone calls for us to intercept.

Finding Bin Laden meant getting a source inside Al Qaeda at a level high enough to know his physical location. It took almost a decade for the CIA, with all its resources, to acquire such a source, even though this was probably the CIA’s single highest priority.

FBI Director Wray Confirms Illegal Alien Terrorists Have Slipped into U.S. Through Southern Border
2023-11-17
What of those not illegal?
[Breitbart] Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray confirmed to lawmakers on Wednesday that illegal alien terrorists have, in fact, slipped into the United States via the nation’s southern border with Mexico.

During a House Homeland Security Committee hearing, Wray seemingly acknowledged that illegal aliens on the federal government’s “Terrorist Watch List” are ending up in the U.S. after arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border.

According to Wray, there are cases where the FBI is actively searching for such illegal alien terrorists who are now in the U.S. as a result.

Wray’s exchange with Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) went as follows:

PFLUGER: Are there people that you are still searching for that we don’t know where they are in the United States? Of the known apprehensions … known or suspected terror people who match the Terror Watch List? Are you still searching for people in the United States who you know match the Terror Watch List?

WRAY: I’m not sure I can answer that here because it’s a constantly moving target.

PFLUGER: Director Wray, are there people who match the Terror Watch List who were apprehended by CBP that the FBI and other agencies are searching for in the United States?

WRAY: There are certainly individuals who are the subject of terrorism investigations that we are searching for, whether or not they are people who … I guess the distinction I’m drawing is that while there is obviously a lot of focus on the Watch List itself, one of the things … one of the areas that are a concern are individuals who once here, information later comes in that identifies them and those people–

PFLUGER: Are there people that you don’t where they are that the FBI is searching for today?

WRAY: Yes.

The admission from Wray comes as the latest Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data reveals that 13 illegal aliens on the Terrorist Watch List were encountered at the nation’s border in October — more than the total number apprehended from 2018 through 2020, when former President Donald Trump was in office.

Most recently, as Breitbart News detailed, an illegal alien — wanted for terrorism in Senegal — was released into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS after crossing the border. Soon after his release, the FBI notified DHS that the illegal alien was, in fact, wanted for terrorism.

The illegal alien was then arrested just blocks from One World Trade Center in New York City. He remains in DHS custody pending deportation.

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is currently suing Biden’s DHS for allegedly withholding “records reflecting the nationalities and group affiliations” of the nearly 300 illegal alien terrorists who have been encountered at the border since early 2021.

Last month, a DHS memo quietly admitted that the terrorism threat coming across the border is increasingly an issue for Americans’ national security and that officials “expect continued high numbers of migrant encounters over the next year.”

Father convicted of terrorism after remains of 3-year-old found in tunnels of New Mexico compound
2023-10-19
The latest on the denizens of the Amalia, NM jihadi compound, raided when the FBI was looking for Abdul Ghani Wahhaj, the handicapped toddler kidnapped by his dad from his mother in Georgia. Abdul Ghani’s body was later discovered on the grounds. Eleven other children found during the raid on the compound were malnourished but in the process of being trained to be loyal little jihadis.
[FoxNews] Authorities raided a compound in remote Mew Mexico desert in August 2018

A father has been convicted of terrorism after the remains of his 3-year-old son were found in an underground tunnel at a makeshift compound in New Mexico in 2018.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj
...also known as Siraj Wahhaj and Sirraj Ibn Wahhaj. He has mentored pussy hat leader Linda Sarsour....
and members of his family had fled from Georgia with the toddler to the remote desert so they could engage in firearms and tactical training to prepare for attacks against the government, prosecutors told jurors Tuesday.

Jurors deliberated for 2½ days after hearing weeks of testimony from children who had lived with their parents at the compound.

The defendants, who are Muslim, argued federal authorities targeted them because of their religion.

Wahhaj’s brother-in-law also was convicted of terrorism charges, conspiracy to commit kidnapping and kidnapping that resulted in the boy’s death. Wahhaj’s sisters were convicted on the kidnapping charges.
That’d be Hujrah Wahhaj, 38, Subhanah Wahhaj, 36. No mention here of Lucas Morton, 41, Siraj Jr’s brother-in-law or Jany Leveille, Siraj Jr’s wife — a Haitian citizen who overstayed her visitor visa two decades ago
The five suspects were arrested by authorities after an Aug. 3, 2018, raid following a months-long inquiry into the disappearance of Abdul-ghani Wahhaj, 3. The boy, who had severe medical issues, disappeared from Georgia in December.

The badly decomposed remains of the boy were eventually found in an underground tunnel at the compound on the outskirts of Amalia near the Colorado state line. An exact cause of death was never determined.

Wahhaj represented himself in court.

"The government portrayed me to look like a monster," he said, describing his family as close-knit and trying to protect his son from evil spirits. He said they used a ritual known as ruqyah in which passages from the Quran are recited.

Wahhaj and the family apparently believed the boy would be resurrected as Jesus Christ and provide instructions.

A sentencing date has yet to be scheduled.
KANW adds:
Jurors have delivered split verdicts in a case that stemmed from the search for a 3-year-old boy who went missing from Georgia. The boy was found dead hundreds of miles away at a squalid compound in northern New Mexico. The boy's father was convicted Tuesday of terrorism related charges, while other family members were convicted of a mix of kidnapping and terrorism charges.

Wahhaj's brother-in-law also was convicted of terrorism charges, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, and kidnapping that resulted in the boy's death. Wahhaj's sisters were convicted on the kidnapping charges.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj's partner — Jany Leveille, a Haitian national — was initially charged with kidnapping and terrorism-related charges, but instead reached a plea agreement on weapons charges. She did not appear at the trial.

Evidence presented by prosecutors included passages journal from Leveille's journal suggesting she believed she was having prophecies. Prosecutors argued that the group believed she had an ability to receive messages from God.

According to prosecutors, the charges related to kidnapping resulting in death carry a mandatory life sentence. The charges of providing support in preparation for terrorist attacks on U.S. government officials and employees are punishable by up to 15 years in prison, while the charge of conspiracy to kill a government officer or employee carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Government Corruption
Embattled Sen. Bob Menendez spent years helping developer and imam behind controversial ground zero mosque
2023-09-24
[NY Post] Sen. Robert Menendez spent years helping the Egyptian-American imam behind the controversial Ground Zero Mosque — a plan the embattled Democrat later championed.

Menendez, 69, was indicted on federal bribery charges Friday, along with his wife, for schemes that allegedly benefited the government of Egypt and three New Jersey businessmen.

Starting in 1989, when the senator was the mayor of Union City, NJ, Menendez reportedly secured more than $2 million in public cash and loans for Egyptian-American imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.

The funding was meant to renovate three low-income apartment buildings Rauf owned there, according to reports — buildings that, tenants complained, remained dilapidated for years after the money was received.

At the same time, Rauf was in business with developer Fred Daibes — the Menendez political benefactor who allegedly bribed him with gold bars and cash, and who was named as a Menendez co-defendant Friday.

Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York say they found gold bars from Daibes in the home Menendez shares with his wife Nadine.

Rauf is not named in the federal indictment against Menendez and has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

In 2010, when controversy erupted over Rauf’s plans to build an Islamic center and mosque two blocks from the site of the World Trade Center, Menendez cheered the proposed 13-story structure.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT BOB MENENDEZ'S INDICTMENT
New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez is facing federal corruption charges related to an alleged years-long scheme.

Menendez allegedly accepted bribes, including gold bars, in exchange for helping three businessmen, Wael Hana, Jose Uribe and Fred Daibes, and the country of Egypt, according to officials.

Menendez and his wife, Nadine, were charged with taking hundreds of thousands in bribes, according to a Manhattan federal indictment.

When the feds raided Menendez’s Englewood Cliffs home in June 2022, they found a 2019 Mercedes C-Class, at least 13 gold bars, and $566,000 in cash "stuffed in envelopes." Another $70,000 in cash was found in Nadine’s safe deposit box.
