2023-07-24

He got into touch with her through Facebook using his fake identity in 2020. In the initial days, they used to interact less but gradually it increased. He then asked her to meet her before raping her, according to a report in India Today

He then blackmailed her using those videos and pictures and raped her several times.

After six months, they met at his insistence. Later, they met several times. The Ghaziabad woman stated that she became pregnant after the incident but was compelled by the man to undergo an child sacrifice abortion.

It was during this time that she discovered the man's true identity as Khalid and realized that he had hidden his original religion.

The woman has alleged that the accused had been forcing her to convert to his religion. He then took her to Nizamuddin mosque in Delhi where she was converted to Islam.

"On his birthday, Khalid even got his name tattooed on my waist. He forced me to eat the meat of cows and other animals. Khalid asked me to wear Hijab always. He forced me to convert to Islam and even changed my name," OpIndia quoted the victim as saying.

The cops have said that they arrested the accused based on the complaint near Vijay Nagar railway station and filed the case under the IPC Sections 376, 313, 323, and 509.

Varanasi blasts: Terrorist Waliullah Khan sentenced to death
2022-06-08
[OneIndia] A local court on Monday sentenced terror convict Waliullah Khan to death for serial blasts in Varanasi that killed at least 20 people 16 years back.

District Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha convicted Khan on Saturday but had held back the pronouncement on the quantum of punishment for the blasts in 2006 at Varanasi's Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple and a railway station.

On Monday, Khan was brought to the district court from Dasna Jail under tight security, overseen by a deputy superintendent of police.

The court also sentenced Khan to life imprisonment on an attempt to murder charge and ordered him to pay fines. The death sentence
...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead...
will have to be confirmed by the Allahabad High Court.

A special task force had claimed in 2006 that Khan was linked to Bangladesh-based terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jehad al-Islami
...(HuJI), along with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) one of the Deobandi jihad groups set up by Pakistan’s ISI to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan, after which the Bangladeshi branch sent Al Qaeda big turban Muhammad Ilyas Kashmiri to lead its Jammu & Kashmir effort. After he met an inquisitive American Predator, some Taliban big turban took over the assignment. HuJI not only lends personnel to LeT and JeM, but provided ministers to the first Taliban government as well...
and was the criminal mastermind behind the blasts.

The first blast took place at 6.15 pm on March 7, 2006 inside the crowded Sankat Mochan temple in the Lanka cop shoppe area. After 15 minutes, a bomb went kaboom! outside the first-class retiring room at Varanasi Cantonment railway station.

At least 20 people were killed and about 100 injured in the two explosions.

The same day, a pressure cooker bomb was also found near the railings of a railway crossing in Dashashwamedh cop shoppe area.

Khan was convicted in two cases lodged under the Indian Penal Code sections of murder and attempt to murder, and under the Explosives Act, district government counsel Rajesh Sharma earlier told PTI.

He was acquitted in a third case due to lack of evidence, he said.

Lawyers in Varanasi had refused to plead the case and the Allahabad High Court transferred it to the Ghaziabad district court.

In all three cases, 121 witnesses were produced before the court.

Militants had planned blasts at four places in Mumbai
2008-01-01
NEW DELHI — The five militants arrested in connection with last month’s Uttar Pradesh serial blasts wanted to carry out simultaneous explosions in four crowded areas in Mumbai, including Gateway of India, official sources said. The sources quoting the interrogators questioning the five militants arrested from Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh), Doda (Jammu and Kashmir) and North 24 Parganas (West Bengal) claimed that Bangladesh-based banned Huji was planning to carry out yet another serial blasts in Mumbai. All the five have been arrested for November 23 serial blasts in UP cities — Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi.

Gateway of India, Andheri, Oberoi Hotel and Navi Mumbai were places where these militants had already carried out dry runs — a chilling reminder of 2006 Mumbai serial blasts.

The militants, however, changed their plans for Mumbai after a group of UP lawyers manhandled two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants, arrested for hatching conspiracy to kidnap VIPs, including Rahul Gandhi. This was the third incident in last one year when either Huji militants, their sympathisers or Jaish militants were attacked in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, Faizabad court premises was witness to an altercation between lawyers and Huji militants, who had conspired and provided logistic help to terrorists who carried out the suicide attack on disputed structure in 2005. The local bar association had banned its advocates from taking up their cases.

While the court premises in Varanasi was witness last year to beating of one Waliullah Khan, the main accused in the Sankat Mochan temple explosions, lawyers in Lucknow also manhandled two Jaish-e-Mohammad militants arrested in October who were planning to kidnap Rahul Gandhi.
Just how evil are you when the lawyers want you dead and buried?
The counterparts in Mumbai have been informed about the interrogation of Huji militants and necessary precautions have been taken, an official, attached with the interrogation of five militants, said on condition of anonymity.

The role of these militants would be probed also in connection with Hyderabad and Mumbai serial blasts and a team of Andhra Pradesh Police and Mumbai’s Anti-terrorist Squad were already in Lucknow to examine them. The five militants — Mohammed Khalid, Tariq alias Dr Tariq, Sajjad Wani, Tariq alias Akhthar and Altaf Ansari alias Mukhtiar alias Raju — are also seen as a sleeper cell of Huji, which was activated by the terror outfit once in a year.

After committing the heinous crime, Ansari quietly slipped back into West Bengal and started working as a labour with Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation, while Wani also discreetly went back to Kisthawar area and started leading his normal life. The only missing link in the UP serial blast was the person who had sent the email from an East Delhi cyber cafe claiming of more blasts in Uttar Pradesh and sleuths of Central security agency claimed that they would be able to apprehend him soon.

Ansari’s role in Sankat Mochan temple blast and Gorakhpur blast would also be probed by the UP Police and central security agency, the sources said.

HuJI hand suspected in UP blasts
2007-11-24
Banned Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islamia (HuJI) is believed to be behind the serial blasts that rocked three cities in Uttar Pradesh on Friday killing over a dozen people besides injuring several others. Sources in the security agencies said the terror strike could be seen as a revenge by the banned outfit for the assault on its members including the recent incident when lawyers manhandled three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants arrested in Lucknow last week. They said Jaish could have sought the help of HuJI as both the outfits followed the Deoband sect of Islam.

HuJI, which is being mainly run from Bangaldesh, has managed to establish cells in Uttar Pradesh and that the outfit was responsible for previous major terror attacks.

All three court premises in Lucknow, Faizabad and Varanasi, targeted today by the militants, had seen an incident of manhandling of militants or activists of anti-Ram temple in Ayodhya by lawyers.
Last week three JeM militants were roughed up by lawyers and the bar association refused to take up their cases.
