Montana woman under arrest for driving vehicle into ‘religious group’ on sidewalk
2023-12-11
A strange tale. Did the driver do this because she thought the crowd was Jewish, Israeli, Christian, Black, or merely because she was under the influence of brain-altering chemicals? Posting on Page 1: WoT to start, but it may be moved based on further information.
[IsraelTimes] A woman has been arrested after she drove her vehicle several times at or through a religious group demonstrating on a sidewalk, hitting and injuring one man, Montana police say.

Genevienne Rancuret, 55, was pulled over by police in Billings on Saturday a few hours after the episode and taken to jail on charges of felony assault with a weapon — the vehicle — felony criminal mischief and driving under the influence, police said. It is not known if she has a lawyer representing her yet.

The 45-year-old man who was struck suffered minor injuries. Members of the group he was with, identified by police as "Israelis for Christ," were holding signs and speaking through an amplifier at the time, a police spokesperson, Lt. Matt Lennick, said.

Lennick said he did not have enough information to comment on what the motive could be.

An update from police said the FBI was also reviewing what happened, along with local prosecutors, suggesting the federal agency was looking into whether it could be a bias-motivated crime.

The group, as named by police, does not appear to have a current online presence and no immediate information could be found.

There is, however, an Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ which is an American organization of Black Hebrew Israelites headquartered in New York. The sect has been described by the Anti-Defamation League as "extreme and antisemitic," and designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

A witness told the KTVQ news channel in Montana Sunday that the demonstrators were "all wearing purple, so it was clearly a group."

Black Hebrew Israelites have been seen at gatherings and marches in matching purple clothing.

But it was not immediately clear if that was the group targeted in Sunday’s attack.

"I just kind of saw this white Jeep fly by me and jump onto the sidewalk, straight at the group of people that were there," the witness told KTVQ. "The first thing that I thought was they lost control and they were in a wreck."

But then the driver tried to hit the group again, said the witness.

Last month, a woman in Indiana was arrested after she drove her car into an Indianapolis residential building used by Black Hebrew Israelites as a school, mistakenly believing it was a Jewish school.

Transgender Antifa 'rioter' Jamie Marsicano whose dad's a tycoon DANCES into Atlanta court as she and 61 others are arraigned for 'terrorizing' proposed police training facility
2023-11-07
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A transgender Antifa 'terrorist' was seen dancing into court this morning - as she and 21 others are arraigned for terrorizing a proposed $90million police training center in Atlanta.

James 'Jamie' Marsicano, 29, is charged with domestic terrorism after rioters burned construction vehicles and attacked police officers with fireworks and Molotov cocktails at the site of the future Atlanta Police Safety Training Center on March 5.

She is also facing a charge for violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act - along with 60 others. The indictment was filed by the state's Attorney General, Chris Carr.

Marsicano pranced around in a black skirt, gray cardigan, and red scarf
...the poor man is unattractive whether presenting as male or female...
as she arrived at Fulton County Courthouse Monday - flanked by supporters holding 'drop the charges' signs.

The police department released video showing a mob of around 150 people with masks covering their faces march through scrub and woodland around the proposed $90million center before unleashing havoc and setting fire to a power line.

Police officers protecting the site were forced to stand off as the attackers overran the site and targeted machinery. They were then pelted with rocks and fireworks by the thugs. In the aftermath, 23 people including Mariscano and Thomas Webb Jurgens, 28, an attorney for the hard-left Southern Poverty Law Center, were arrested.

They have since defended their actions, arguing that the 381 acres of Weelaunee Forest where the police training center is being built is 'stolen Muscogee land' and that the creation would mean the destruction of wildlife and forestry.

Mariscano is an outspoken anti-police advocate who was in her first year of law school at North Carolina School of Law - as well as being the daughter of a millionaire North Carolina businessman. Her father, Michael Mariscano, was previously heralded as Charlotte, North Carolina's 'most powerful person' for running a foundation worth $4 billion.

She is being held on domestic terrorism charges without bail, along with 21 of her cohorts as they were just trying to defend the public forest.

Jamie has described herself publicly as an anti-police advocate who would like to dismantle the prison system. A profile for the nearly 30-year-old on the National Lawyers Guild website describes her as a 'queer and trans organizer from Charlotte, North Carolina.'

It says that before she started law school this year, 'Jamie worked with mutual aid collective Charlotte Uprising
...yet another tentacle of the Antifa/Black Bloc anarchocommunist octopus that are the shock troops of the Democratic Party...
to start a grassroots community bail fund that raises money to bail people out of jail and support them through court, regardless of charge.

'Jamie believes that no one should be in a cage, and dreams of a world where we can prevent and respond to harm in our communities without relying on prisons or police,' the profile continues.

She has previously had warrants out for her arrests at other demonstrations in North Carolina, where her father is a well-known philanthropist.

Michael Mariscano served for 23 years as president and CEO of the Foundation for the Carolinas — a Charlotte-based organization that increases charitable giving and improves communities with civic leadership opportunities — before he retired in January.

Michael was so respected amongst the political leaders in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County that they proclaimed this past October 24 'Michael Mariscano Day.'

In a proclamation at the time, government officials cited his long- term role as a fundraiser across the region, raising half a billion dollars since just 2019.

He also served on the Duke University Board of Trustees, the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and the UNC Charlotte Foundation.

Book Review - The Enemy Within: How a Totalitarian Movement Is Destroying America
2023-09-05
[YouTube] Throughout history, the United States has faced deadly enemies from across the globe. But today, our biggest enemies lie within our own country, enemies determined to tear our very country apart with ugly passions and irreconcilable conflicts. Legendary conservative firebrand David Horowitz argues that America's fundamental principles are under attack, and the progressive left will do anything to see those principles revoked and replaced with their own radical agenda.

In The Enemy Within: How a Totalitarian Movement Is Destroying America, best-selling author David Horowitz presents a harrowing account of our internal enemies and battles, including the leaders of the Women's March, the Senate Judiciary Committee's brutal treatment of Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court nomination, and the Southern Poverty Law Center's "watch list". In each case, these enemies of freedom suppress anyone whose views don't align with their far-left agenda.

The progressive assault on America is not unlike the attempts of other totalitarian movements around the globe, warns Horowitz. What should be different, he adds, is our response as American citizens and patriots.

Jury Intimidation
2023-08-09
The Post Millennial tweeted video of the attacks — the tweets can be seen at the link.
[Townhall] At the conclusion of journalist Andy Ngo's multi-day civil trial against Rose City Antifa, whose far-left militant members brutally beat the investigative reporter when he went undercover to expose Antifa's extremist activities on the riot-torn streets of Portland, a 12-person jury reached a verdict in the case Tuesday evening, reportedly finding both of the defendants not liable for all claims.

The Post Millennial's senior editor—represented by attorney Harmeet Dhillon's nonprofit Center for American Liberty—sought almost $1 million in damages in a lawsuit accusing the co-defendants of assault, battery, theft, and intentional infliction of emotional distress over a series of violent Antifa attacks beginning in 2019, when Ngo was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage.

In 2020, Andy Ngo filed a lawsuit in Portland, Oregon claiming assault and other injuries by alleged members of Antifa.

These violent attacks were caught on camera/video.

In closing statements, defense counsel Michelle Burrows told the jurors that not only does she self-identify as an "anti-fascist," she strongly declared, "I am Antifa," and insisted upon making herself an "I am Antifa" t-shirt, which the activist attorney said she would wear after the trial. In spite of Antifa's well-documented history of violence, Burrows told the jury that Antifa's unfavorable reputation is untrue and depicted the organized militants as activists fighting for social justice and civil rights. "Resistance in this country has never been peaceful," Burrows argued in defense of Antifa, admitting that Ngo's tormenters were, in fact, "terrorists."

Rather than taking the time to provide evidence as to why the defendants should be free of liability, Burrow instead defended anti-fascism and attacked Ngo's credibility as a journalist. Burrows also told jurrors that she "will remember each one of their faces."

Before jury deliberation commenced, Judge Chanpone Sinlapasai announced that the jurors have raised safety concerns about being "doxxed" and claimed that people have been trying to identify them, according to a Post Millennial report by Seattle-based correspondent Katie Daviscourt. Prior to the trial's conclusion, Sinlapasai issued court orders banning the public and non-credentialed press from the courtroom for the duration of Ngo's jury trial as it was underway in Multnomah County Circuit Court. The judge's decision was made due to multiple in-court disruptions since the trial began on July 31 as well as security issues.

Ngo's legal team had hoped the landmark case would hold lawless Antifa extremists accountable. Dhillon, alongside Ngo's fellow journalists and supporters, took to Twitter to weigh in on the jury's decision, expressing widespread outrage over the outcome:

On the highly anticipated trial's penultimate day, the court had ruled in the defense's favor when it came to witness testimony.

Attempting to undermine Ngo's reputation, the defense called controversial Portland State University professor Alexander Reid Ross, who proudly identifies as Antifa, to the stand Monday as a so-called "expert" on "far-right" media, which he claimed includes Ngo, whom he smeared as a "rage inducer" and "provocateur" without evidence to back his defamatory statements.

Although Ngo's team objected to Ross being a witness on the basis of relevancy, the judge overruled the objection.

A fellow of the Centre for Radical Right Analysis, Ross's work has appeared in left-wing mainstream outlets such as VICE, The Washington Post, and The Daily Beast, where his writings feature favorable coverage of Antifa. Ngo's counsel revealed during cross-examination that Ross's reporting is allegedly too extreme even for the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center, which had retracted an article by Ross after he had falsley identified individuals as white nationalists, white supremacists, and anti-Semites.

In mid-July, the court granted an order of default against co-defendants Jacob Christian Evans, Madison Lee Allen, and Corbyn/Katherine Belyea, who were also named in Ngo's lawsuit. The judge will likely decide liability for damages post-trial.

Evans, whose legal name was changed amid pending litigation to Sammica Overkill Schott-Deputy (an anti-police statement meaning "shot deputy") and whose gender legally became "non-binary," arrived at the courthouse Monday despite being found in default, which excluded the defendant from the jury trial. The repeat arrestee with a violent criminal past across several counties has attested to "undergoing surgical, hormonal, or other appropriate treatment for the purpose of affirming gender identity.”

Earlier last month, Rose City Antifa was dismissed from Ngo's lawsuit on grounds that it's "not a discreet entity under common law" and therefore cannot be sued nor served as an unassociated identity. Though, the individual defendants were still suable.

AP Used July 4th to Divisively Redefine "Patriot"
2023-07-06
[Townhall] "In a polarized US, how to define a patriot increasingly depends on who’s being asked," the headline read.

"Today, the word and its variants have morphed beyond the original meaning. It has become infused in political rhetoric and school curriculums, with varying definitions, while being appropriated by white nationalist groups," readers are told.
It seems AP does not refer to 'American Patriots'.
The report goes on to highlight how "far-right and extremist groups" have used the term, citing data from the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center.

"Since then, many right-wing groups have called themselves "patriots" as they’ve fought election processes, LGBTQ+ rights, vaccines, immigration, diversity programs in schools and more. Former President Donald Trump frequently refers to his supporters as patriots."

House Judiciary Committee subpoenas FBI director over extremism investigations into Catholics
2023-04-11
[Washington Examiner] The House Judiciary Committee subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray over the agency's investigation into Catholic parishes in the United States.

Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) demanded that Wray testify regarding a Jan. 23 document from the Richmond Field Office. It was titled "Interest of Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists in Radical-Traditionalist Catholic Ideology Almost Certainly Presents New Mitigation Opportunities."

The document outlined efforts from the FBI to investigate extremism among Catholics, categorizing them by theological beliefs and relying on research from the Southern Poverty Law Center. It included the notion that some kinds of Catholics were domestic terrorists, according to Jordan. It also revealed efforts to use undercover agents to infiltrate Catholic parishes.

"The Committee on the Judiciary is conducting oversight of the [FBI's] handling of domestic violent extremism investigations against Catholic Americans and its effect on protected First Amendment activity," Jordan wrote.

"Based on the limited information produced by the FBI to the Committee, we now know that the FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to produce its analysis, and that the FBI proposed that its agents engage in outreach to Catholic parishes to develop sources among the clergy and church leadership to inform on Americans practicing their faith. This shocking information reinforces our need for all responsive documents, and the Committee is issuing a subpoena to you to compel your full cooperation."

Following an earlier inquiry into the document, Christopher Dunham, acting assistant director of congressional affairs for the FBI, said in a March 23 response that the "Domain Perspective (report) did not meet the FBI's exacting standards and was withdrawn." He added, "Upon learning of the document, FBI Headquarters removed it from our internal system. The FBI also initiated a review — which is now ongoing."

Jordan described the response as "substandard and partial" because it contained a significant number of redactions. He demanded full access to the documents relating to the effort, characterizing those given so far as preventing "the Committee from fully assessing the content and context of the documents and obtaining information requested from the Bureau."

Jordan quoted a passage from the Richmond document as particularly concerning. It encouraged agents to engage congregants in Catholic parishes "to enlist their assistance to serve as suspicious activity tripwires."

Greenfield: The IRS Went Down to Georgia to Steal an Election
2023-04-01
By Daniel Greenfield

[FrontPage] An estimated 3.5 million people voted in the Georgia Senate runoff election. State Voices, a leftist nonprofit, claimed that it had made 3 million voter contacts for the runoff.

ProGeorgia, the local partner for State Voices, bragged of having conducted “31,000 face-to-face conversations, 10 million texts, and 133,000 phone conversations” and of registering “tens of thousands for the midterm election” so that “voters of color turned out in early voting at higher levels than their white counterparts”. Such an outcome was inherently partisan and could and only did benefit one particular party: the Democrats.

While such claims are commonplace among party activists, State Voices and Pro-Georgia are both 501(c)(3) nonprofits. That means that they’re funded by tax-deductible contributions and are not supposed to be involved in elections. But they’re also typical of a massive network of political nonprofits which not only advocate for the Left but help Democrats win races.

“We leaned on our trusted partners in our fight for our democracy. Partnership for Southern Equity, Georgia Equality,
...an LGBT rights group in the state...
Black Voters Matter,
..funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation...
Coalition for the People’s Agenda, Georgia STAND-UP, and GALEO
... Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials ...
were instrumental in securing this critical win for people power,” ProGeorgia’s director, Tamieka Atkins, boasted.
So many names. How many of them share a single office downtown somewhere, and how many share the same interrelated Progressive billionaire funders?
The Black Lives Matter Fund has a 501(c)(4) that focuses on recruiting voters and a 501(c)(3) which engages in “capacity building assistance for community based organization” which can accept tax-deductible contributions. This is likely where ProGeorgia partnered with BVM.

“Georgia voters practically handed victories to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris with a historic election outcome,” BVM head LaTosha Brown boasted. “Georgia owes tremendous gratitude to its Black voters, who turned out and voted in record numbers.”

BVM benefited from a $100 million voter outreach and engagement war chest from the Southern Poverty Law Center. The SPLC is also a 501(c)(3), but so are many of the Democrat organizations which are swinging elections using tax-deductible funds to bring in voters.

State Voices, through its various partners, claims similarly massive results across the country with “over 140 million voter contacts”, “1.9 million calls, 34.5 million texts”, “90 million emails” and 1 million door knocks. Parker Thayer at the Capital Research Center pointed out that these numbers trumped the 50 million voter contacts that the RNC had described as a new record.

Only 2 of the 23 Suspects Charged With Domestic Terrorism in ‘Cop City' Attack From Georgia
2023-03-07
[LI] Cross-State Travel for Terrorism
Whenever something happens at the site of Atlanta’s future Public Safety Training Facility, most of the terrorists involved are not even from Georgia.

The Defend the Atlanta Forest group has been occupying the area for years. Confrontations have become the norm, but tensions escalated in January after a cop shot and killed one of the terrorists in self-defense.

The terrorists are still mad.

A violent confrontation between Antifa and cops on Sunday after the terrorists engaged in a preplanned attack on the construction site. From Fox 5:

Officials say around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, dozens of protesters left the nearby South River Music Festival, changed into black clothing, and entered the site of the controversial proposed police training center.

"This was a very violent attack that occurred, this evening very violent attack," Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said near the scene.

A video released by Atlanta Police shows what appears to be fireworks aimed at officers. In the same video, you can see items including rocks and Molotov cocktails being thrown by protestors in the direction of police, a tipped-over vehicle that later became engulfed in flames, and protestors attempting to set other pieces of construction equipment on fire.

Schierbaum called the incident a "coordinated, criminal attack against officers."

Legal Observer Hit with Terrorism Charges After Mass ‘Cop City’ Arrests

[MSN] A legal observer with the National Lawyers Guild
...leftwing activist lawyers who hang back at Black Bloc actions to “observe” and provide legal services for those arrested...
was arrested and charged with domestic terrorism while monitoring a Sunday night demonstration against an Atlanta police training facility that opponents have dubbed “Cop City.”

Thomas Jurgens is an attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the civil-rights group confirmed on Monday. Jurgens also works with the National Lawyers Guild, which monitors protests. Jurgens was acting as a legal observer at the time of his arrest in Atlanta, the NLG said in a statement. He is one of more than 40 people charged with domestic terrorism in connection to protests against Cop City, raising concerns from civil liberties advocates.

“An employee at the SPLC was arrested while acting—and identifying—as a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG),” the SPLC said in a statement. “The employee is an experienced legal observer, and their arrest is not evidence of any crime, but of heavy-handed law enforcement intervention against protesters.”

The proposed police training facility—a $90 million, 85-acre project on the current site of an Atlanta forest—has been the subject of long-running opposition from environmentalists, racial justice activists, and religious leaders. Tensions escalated at the proposed construction site in late 2022, when police began a series of arrests on domestic terrorism charges, even though many of the defendants are not accused of any illegal activity beyond misdemeanor trespassing, Grist reported at the time.
They’re watching these events from Germany, too. From Deutsche Welle:
Police arrested 35 people after they destroyed construction equipment at a training facility referred to as "Cop City." Environmental and anti-police protesters have attacked the site several times.

Officials in the southern US state of Georgia on Monday announced that 23 protesters, including a Frenchie and a Canadian, had been charged with domestic terrorism after Atlanta police arrested 35 people on Sunday.

Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum, who announced the initial arrests a midnight presser Sunday, said "violent mostly peaceful agitators" had launched a coordinated attack on police.

HOW HAVE GEORGIA POLITICIANS REACTED TO PROTESTS?
Sunday's festivities were the latest in a series of contentious stand-offs between authorities and protesters.

On January 18, a 26-year-old environmental activist muppet was shot and killed during a police raid to clear protesters from the woods. In the aftermath of the shooting, demonstrations spread to downtown Atlanta.

On January 21, a police cruiser was set ablaze and windows were shattered when rocks and fireworks were hurled at a downtown skyscraper housing the Atlanta Police Foundation.

Such protests have prompted Georgia state politicians to look at toughening laws and sentencing, for instance, by proposing that rioting be made a felony rather than a misdemeanor.

Those previously arrested during festivities at the site are being charged with felony domestic terrorism, which can carry sentences of up to 35 years.

Despite criticism of heavy-handedness, politicians are also looking at classifying domestic terrorism as a violent mostly peaceful felony. That would mean an individual's entire sentence would have to be served — even for first-time offenders who would not be eligible for probation — and parole could not be granted until at least 30 years of the sentence had been served.

Critics have voiced alarm over what they see as the criminalization of protesters, especially environmental and land-rights defenders attempting to block pipelines and protect woodlands and waterways, by labeling them eco-terrorists.

They say the breadth of the 2001 Patriot Act allows the government to put corporate profits before land stewardship and the public good with politicians criminalizing peaceful protest and using militarized police to violent mostly peacefully suppress it under penalty of harsh sentencing.

ATLANTA POLICE BRACE FOR FURTHER PROTESTS
Police on Monday said the Georgia Bureau of Investigations would be prosecuting those charged.

Beyond two foreign nationals, two of those arrested were Georgia residents. All others were from various states across the US, including Arizona, Massachusetts and New York.

The vast majority of peaceful protesters were Atlanta residents.

More demonstrations are scheduled for the coming days, prompting Atlanta police to release a statement reading, "With protests planned for the coming days, the Atlanta Police Department, in collaboration with law enforcement partners, have a multi-layered strategy that includes reaction and arrest."

NYC council votes to name street after antisemitic Nation of Islam leader
2023-03-01
[JNS] "The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad Way" honors a dishonorable man who cozied up with neo-Nazi
...adherents of a philosophy that was seen even at the time as pure evil, which makes them either consciously and purely evil, or attention-seeking ratbags. Pick one, or both....
s and called Jews greedy.

The New York City Council approved a plan Thursday to name a block in Harlem after National of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad.

"Early on, Elijah Muhammad preached about greedy Jews and advanced the longstanding antisemitic trope that Jews turned Jesus Christ in to the authorities," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

"Muhammad invited American Nazi Party boss George Lincoln Rockwell to the NOI’s 1962 Saviours’ Day Convention," where Rockwell dubbed Muhammad "the Adolf Hitler
...late Fuehrer of Germany, founder of the Third Reich, currently communing with his pals Himmler and Heydrich. He is reincarnated every few days as a politician somebody doesn't like...
of the black man," the center added.

Still, the council supported naming the Manhattan intersection of West 127th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard "The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad Way," reported the New York Daily News.
You know it's gonna be a dump and crime-infested hellhole
"He fails every test we could possibly put forward: the test based on the values and views of today, and the values and views of the times in which he lived and worked," David Carr, a Republican council member said at a committee hearing.

Kristin Richardson Jordan, a far-left council member who represents Harlem and who proposed the street naming, called the honor "way overdue."

"It is actually not OK to erase black leaders who are not pleasing to white people," she said during the vote. "I profoundly vote aye on Elijah Muhammad Way."

"The corner is the site of the NOI-owned Mosque Temple No. 7, where Malcolm X long preached," according to the editorial board of the New York Post, "and where an NYPD officer was slain in 1972 (three years before Mohammad’s death) by unidentified NOI bandidos murderous Moslems while responding to a false emergency call at the mosque. That is, this renaming would be a dishonor in multiple ways."

"This renaming would be an utter obscenity," the Post board added.

Per recent reporting, Illinois taxpayers are funding at least $500,000 for a group that is inspired by the Nation of Islam, whose leadership held official roles in the Nation of Islam and which calls itself "the archives for the Nation of Islam."

Illinois taxpayers footing $1 million bill for group inspired by antisemitic Nation of Islam
2023-02-25
[St. Louis Jewish Life] Throughout its nearly 95-year history, the Nation of Islam has been "notorious for its antisemitism, homophobia and anti-white bigotry," the Southern Poverty Law Center notes.

The Chicago-headquartered religious group has "a consistent record of antisemitism and bigotry," and its leader Louis Farrakhan has said contemporary Jews are "not really Jews but are in fact Satan" and "the enemy of God and the enemy of the righteous," among many antisemitic statements, the Anti-Defamation League adds.

The sixth most-populous U.S. state and its Jewish governor appear to have missed the memo. In 2021 and 2022, Illinois shelled out half a million dollars to the Nation of Islam, and it is slated to fund the hate group another half a million this year. This support in taxpayer monies comes at a time when antisemitic incidents in the U.S. have hit an all-time high.

Chicago has had its share recently of synagogue desecrations, vandalism and violent attacks against Jews, and Gov. J.B. Pritzker and other Jewish state lawmakers have been targets of antisemitism.

Yet a report by Focus on Western Islamism—a project of the Middle East Forum—revealed that Illinois is paying out substantial amounts of money to a group that is inspired by the Nation of Islam.

Susannah Johnston, an investigative reporter for the one-year-old site, which Daniel Pipes publishes, found via public records that the Build Illinois Bond Fund—established by the state in the mid-’80s to promote economic development—gave $500,000 to the Coalition for the Remembrance of Elijah Muhammad (CROE) in 2021 and 2022. The state intends to give another $500,000 to that group this year.

Muhammad, who died in 1975 and was a disciple of Nation of Islam founder Fard Muhammad, has his own hateful track record. The Nation of Islam leader, who appointed Farrakhan, "promoted the idea that white people were created by an evil Black scientist and that Black people are the superior race," according to the ADL.

A man who answered the phone at the Coalition for the Remembrance of Elijah Muhammad but did not give his name said the coalition is "the archives for the Nation of Islam."

Government Corruption
Richmond EFFBEEYE Field Office authored a recently-released report that warns the nation apparently faces a serious threat from Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass.
2023-02-09
[RedState] At a time when the rate of attacks on Catholic churches is increasing–a study found 278 such attacks since 2020 alone–the FBI has decided now is the time to label traditional Catholics as purveyors of anti-Semitism and white supremacy. A so-called “intelligence analyst” at the Richmond Field Office authored a recently-released report that warns the nation apparently faces a serious threat from Catholics who prefer the Latin Mass. The analyst also coined two fancy new acronyms: Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists (RMVEs) and Radical-Traditionalist Catholics (RTCs).

The report is long on accusations and short on actual evidence that there’s an existential threat from Catholics, who prefer monks chanting to nuns playing folk songs on tambourines. RTCs seem to really rankle the author:

RTCs are “typically characterized by the rejection of the Second Vatican Council.” The writer makes an unsubstantiated leap that a preference for the Catholic Mass in Latin instead of the vernacular and a number of more traditional views on other world religions can amount to an “adherence to anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ and white supremacist ideology.”

As someone who racked up 12 years of Catholic school in the post-Vatican II 1970s and 1980s (see above reference to nuns wielding tambourines), I can say without hesitation that longing for pre-Vatican II traditions is a sign merely that many Catholics see value in them. It certainly isn’t a sign that they are plotting to bring down the country, and the report fails to provide an iota proof to support that supposition.

Instead, it relies on the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (even pre-Elon Musk Twitter didn’t trust them) and its list of “Radical Traditional Catholicism Hate Groups.” According to one source, “The SPLC appears to be a source for the intelligence analyst’s beliefs that RTCs exist and that they are anti-Semitic. The SPLC description for this “hate group” states RTCs “may make up the largest single group of serious anti-semites in America.”

Other sources for this attack on Christians include the left-leaning Salon and The Atlantic. These two leftist publications regularly demean and slander conservatives–and it seems their inclusion in this FBI report is merely to tie Catholics to right-leaning political performance artists like Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopolis, whose tired schtick appeals to lonely teenage boys and certainly doesn’t intersect with the Catholic Church in the Venn diagram of life in the United States.

So, what is the FBI to do about those pesky Catholics and their rosary-praying ways? Infiltrate them, apparently. This:

The speculative increase in RMVE interactions with RTC leads the writer to suggest mitigation strategies, including recruiting Confidential Human Sources (“source development”), tripwire, and liaison contacts. Tripwires and liaisons are overt contacts with trusted members of a community or an industry. They can advise law enforcement about potentially illegal activity. Due to the fact that “white supremacy” is itself a First Amendment-protected belief, to say nothing of proponents of the most established Christian denomination in the world, the Bureau tries to cover documents like these with a caveat excusing their intrusion into the sacrosanct grounds of free exercise of religion and free association. In another typical intrusion into First Amendment concerns, the document implies a strategy of monitoring social media for RTC ideology in online posts.

I mean, the FBI is welcome to infiltrate the weekly Knights of Columbus meeting, but they’ll likely to be disappointed to find out that insurrection isn’t on the menu, but BBQ chicken and a planning meeting for a Toys for Tots drive. It’s just more of the same from the left, who are looking for any means necessary to attack Christians and conservatives. The compiler of this report is acting with a clear bias, which is not surprising in this day and age when the FBI is weaponized to act against every day Americans.

Super Devout Catholic (Just Ask Him) President Joe Biden, who’s been known to wield the FBI like a cudgel, was unavailable for comment.

FBI arrests man, woman with 'extremist' views in alleged power grid attack plot targeting 5 substations
2023-02-07
Reads like 'filler' news.
Heartiest congratulations to the FBI, who’ve caught two people who were locked up in prison, unable to act, but appear to have nothing concrete on those who actually did the deed these two emailed about.
[FoxNews] Sarah Beth Clendaniel, of Maryland, and Brandon Clint Russell, of Florida, charged out of Baltimore in alleged energy grid attack plot

The FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office officials in Baltimore announced they had arrested two individuals, a man and a woman, with extremist views who were allegedly attempting to attack the power grid in Maryland.

FBI officials told reporters they believe this was a "real threat" that had been thwarted.

Sarah Beth Clendaniel, 34, of Catonsville, Maryland, and Brandon Clint Russell, 27, of Orlando, Florida, are charged through a federal criminal complaint with conspiracy to destroy an energy facility, Erek L. Barron, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, and Special Agent in Charge Thomas J. Sobocinski, of the FBI Baltimore Field Office, announced Monday.

Clendaniel spoke to an FBI informant about her plan just last week, according to authorities.
Once again the FBI informant is the target’s BFF, and is told all.
Russell is an alleged neo-Nazi figure who authorities say posted locations of substations.

This plot is not related to but comes on the heels of several power grid attacks in North Carolina, Washington, and Oregon late last year.
Clendaniel allegedly told an FBI confidential source that she planned to target five substations including in Norrisville, Reisterstown and Perry Hall, according to an affidavit by Special Agent Patrick W. Straub, of the Joint Terrorism Task Force ("JTTF") in the FBI Baltimore Division.

If they hit a number of them all in the same day, they "would completely destroy this whole city," and that a "good four or five shots through the center of them … should make that happen," Clendaniel allegedly said. She further added, "[i]t would probably permanently completely lay this city to waste if we could do that successfully."

The affidavit reveals the two defendants were in separate prisons for past crimes and communicated online. In messages, Clendaniel allegedly referenced Unabomber Ted Kaczynski and Hitler. She was in a Maryland prison for robbing convenience stores with a machete. Russell was in prison for holding bomb making materials.

"This planned attack threatened lives and would have left thousands of Marylanders in the cold and dark," Barron said in a statement. "We are united and committed to using every legal means necessary to disrupt violence, including hate-fueled attacks."

"The threat posed by domestic violent extremists is evolving and persistent," Sobocinski said. "The FBI will continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to the safety of our citizens."

"The accused were not just talking but taking steps to fulfill their threats and further their extremist goals. Russell provided instructions and location information," Sobocinski added at a press briefing on Monday. "He described attacking the power transformers as the greatest thing somebody can do."

This plot is not related to but comes on the heels of several power grid attacks in North Carolina, Washington, and Oregon late last year.

As alleged in the affidavit, Russell conspired to carry out attacks against critical infrastructure, specifically electrical substations, in furtherance of Russell’s "racially or ethnically motivated violent extremist beliefs" from at least June 2022 to the present.

Russell allegedly posted links to open-source maps of infrastructure, which included the locations of electrical substations, and he described how a small number of attacks on substations could cause a "cascading failure," according to court documents. Russell also allegedly discussed maximizing the impact of the planned attack by hitting multiple substations at one time.

Clendaniel, in collaborating on a plan to carry out the attacks, conspired to secure a weapon and identified five substations she planned to target, according to court documents.
The Times of Israel adds:
Russell, who founded the neo-Nazi
...adherents of a philosophy that was seen even at the time as pure evil, which makes them either consciously and purely evil, or attention-seeking ratbags. Pick one, or both....
group called Atomwaffen Division, has a long history of ties to racist bad boy ideologies and past plans to disrupt American infrastructure systems, according to the complaint.

Atomwaffen Division leaders recently renamed themselves the National Socialist Order. The group’s mission is civilizational collapse, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Federal authorities said Russell, 27, landed on their radar after a 2017 shooting left two of his roommates dead. Local law enforcement officers found Russell at the scene, dressed in a military uniform and crying over the news. A third roommate, who was later arrested, told Sherlocks he committed the killings to thwart a terrorist attack by Atomwaffen, which included plans to target US infrastructure. He said Russell knew nothing about the killings, having just returned home from his Florida National Guard duties.
That explains the military uniform. Doesn't he know there's no crying in baseball neo-naziing?
Russell ultimately pleaded guilty to explosives charges after authorities found bomb-making materials in the garage. He served five years in federal prison and was on supervised release at the time of his recent arrest, officials said.

Recent attacks and threats to the US power grid have heightened concerns about protecting critical infrastructure.

In Washington state, two men were arrested last month on charges they vandalized substations in attacks that left thousands without power around Christmastime. One suspect told authorities they hoped the power outage would allow them to break into a business and steal money.

A gunfire attack in December on substations in central North Carolina also caused power outages affecting tens of thousands of customers. Law enforcement officials have said the shooting was targeted, though no arrests have been made. Lawmakers there have proposed legislation to toughen penalties for intentionally damaging utility equipment.

Russell and Clendaniel corresponded years ago while incarcerated in separate correctional facilities, authorities said. Officials declined to specify the nature of their relationship or how they met, but the complaint says they discussed having children together. Text messages linked to Russell included a statement that "going to prison was worth it because I might not have met you otherwise."

Their relationship dates to at least 2018.

Clendaniel has a long criminal history in Maryland, including a 2006 robbery conviction in Cecil County, a largely rural area about an hour northeast of Baltimore. She pleaded guilty to the charge after authorities accused her of brandishing a butcher knife and demanding money from a convenience store clerk.

Then 18, Clendaniel was pregnant at the time of her conviction. Her attorney cited mental health issues and said she was receiving methadone treatment, according to The Cecil Whig. She pleaded guilty in 2016 in connection with another robbery case.
