Chicago Carnival Invaded By ‘Flash Mob’ Of Over 400 Teenagers
2023-05-24
[ZH] The best way to destroy a once-great American city is to elect progressives who will implement social justice reform. And the result, as we turn our attention to various West Coast cities, Baltimore, and Chicago, is the rapid decline of law and order.

The latest incident of chaos is a "flash mob incident" on Saturday at the Armed Forces Weekend Carnival in Tinley Park,
...upscale, retirement home of the Right Reverend Jeremiah Wright of Obama church fame. For some reason the white population has dropped to 81% while African-Americans have reached 6% ...
a town located in liberal-controlled Cook County and just outside the crime-ridden city of Chicago.

Videos posted on Twitter show "multiple fights that broke out after hundreds swarmed Saturday's event as part of a flash mob,"

Warnock: U.S. Senators 'Gangsters and Thugs' Who Aimed to 'Kill Children'
2020-12-16
[FREEBEACON] Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock described members of the U.S. Senate as "gangsters and thugs" whose votes for a 2017 tax cut exposed their willingness to "kill children."The remarks, which have not previously been reported, may provide another opening for Warnock's Republican opponent, Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who has worked to portray him as a "radical liberal." Warnock, a pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, has come under fire for other controversial statements, including his praise for Rev. Jeremiah Wright's "God Damn America" speech, his condemnation of Israel, which he likened to apartheid South Africa, and his claim that "America needs to repent for its worship of whiteness."

In the December 2017 sermon, Warnock slammed members of the Senate for passing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. The tax reform legislation—which reduced tax liability for low- and middle-class Americans last year, according to IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
data—was approved by Congress in December 2017 without a single Democratic vote.

"While others were sleeping, members of the United States Senate declared war, launched a vicious and evil attack on the most vulnerable people in America," said Warnock. "Herod is on the loose. Herod is a cynical politician, who's willing to kill children and kill the children's health program in order to preserve his own wealth and his own power."
Said the "Pro-Choice Reverend of Moloch"

Radical Leftist Dem Senate Hopeful Won't Denounce Socialism And Marxism
2020-12-08
[TRENDINGPOLITICS] With one month to go until the Georgia runoff elections that will determine who controls the Senate, one candidate is being made to feel the heat over his extreme views.

Democrat Raphael Warnock is cut from the same cloth as Barack Obama
How much damage could he do in four years?... Eight, then...
's longtime minister, the hatemongering, America hating Jeremiah Wright and he has a history of anti-white, anti-Semitic, and pro-Marxist demagoguery.

Those views sadly now make him mainstream in the radicalized Democratic party that is salivating over the chance to seize control of the entire federal government and then forever change America into something that will be unrecognizable.

On Sunday, Rev. Warnock faced off against Republican incumbent Kelly Loeffler in a high stakes debate held in Atlanta, ground zero for the Peach State's voter fraud operations that could prove decisive in allowing Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. Joe's wife and daughter weren't killed by a drunk driver. He didn't graduate with three or even two degrees, wasn't in the top half of his law class, and his daddy didn't come home from a hard day's work in the mines and play football with the guys. The NAACP hasn't endorsed him every time he's run. If you believe Tara Reade you probably shouldn't vote for him....
to steal the election.

Loeffler put the purveyor of hate on the spot by giving him the opportunity to denounce the socialism and Marxism that have been commonplace in his sermons and writings.

Warnock then unpacked a word salad of talking points but did not denounce either of the two ruinous ideologies.

Warnock Keeps 'Liberation Theology' Graduate Thesis Under Wraps at Library
2020-12-04
[Free Beacon] Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Raphael Warnock has declined to authorize the release of his divinity school graduate thesis, which is under wraps at the Union Theological Seminary
... a non-denominational Christian seminary affiliated with Columbia University. An example of the rigour of theological teaching is the organized confession of climate sins a year ago to a collection of potted plants. A more pointed criticism was that of German anti-Nazi activist Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was so appalled by the determined ignorance of the faculty and students there that he preferred to return to Germany to be martyred by the Nazis.
library due to copyright restrictions.

Warnock wrote the thesis, titled Churchmen, Church Martyrs: The Activist Ecclesiologies of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Luther King, Jr., in 1994 while he was a graduate student at the Union Theological Seminary. The paper is a precursor to Warnock's 2006 Ph.D. dissertation, a copy of which was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. The dissertation is also housed at the seminary library and under copyright.

The graduate thesis, which discusses Christianity's responsibility to pursue social justice, could shed light on Warnock's ideological background. The Senate candidate, a preacher at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, has come under fire for his defense of socialism, criticism of Israel, and praise of an anti-American speech by Jeremiah Wright.

Warnock's association with the late theologian James Cone, whom the Senate candidate described as his mentor, has also drawn scrutiny because of Cone's controversial comments about race and religion. Cone, one of the founders of black liberation theology, advocated for the "destruction of everything white" and claimed that "American white theology is a theology of the Antichrist."

The Burke Library in New York, where the thesis is held, said it wasn't able to provide a full copy of Warnock's dissertation "because it is still in copyright." However, the library released a small portion of the paper to the Free Beacon.

Warnock holds the copyright, according to the library. The Warnock campaign did not respond to an inquiry from the Free Beacon about whether he would approve access to the thesis.

‘Massive Civil Disobedience': Victor Davis Hanson Predicts Pushback As States Impose More Coronavirus Restrictions
2020-11-19
[DailyCaller] Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor David Hanson
...that’s Victor Davis Hanson, actually
predicated Wednesday "massive civil disobedience" against further COVID-19 lockdowns as more restrictions are out in place.

"I’m afraid they’re going to have massive civil disobedience because for them to have credibility ... they cannot be hypocritical," Hanson told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" in reference to Democratic leaders enforcing harsh lockdowns.

"They have to be disinterested. But think of a marquee official, a [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi, a [California] Gov. [Gavin] Newsom, a [Michigan] Gov. [Gretchen] Whitmer. All of these people have violated their own edicts," Hanson said, citing Pelosi’s visit to a San Francisco hair salon and the revelation that Newsom attended a large indoor dinner at an upscale French restaurant in Napa Valley.Newsom has suggested that Californians even wear face masks "in between bites" when dining at restaurants.

Gov. Whitmer has said she is "never going to apologize" for her harsh lockdown measures because she insists her actions saved lives.

Hanson suggested that lockdowns have now entered a new phase when political leaders "say we are going to go into the inner sanctum of a person’s home — so much for your home as a castle — and we are going to start monitoring your behavior in a way we surely didn’t when you attacked state property out in the street in Portland.""They are not going to have a lot of compliance and there’s a slippery slope, I think, that if they can come into your house and say you have to wear a mask. Why not just say — you know — when was your last prostate exam or your breast exam ... " he continued.

"So they are asking the public to obey edicts that they don’t feel apply to themselves and when you apply that to protest, all summer we saw people out in the streets, no social distancing, no mask, no cleanser, spraying and screaming," Hanson noted.

Democrat Raphael Warnock Arrested in 2002 for Obstructing Child Abuse Investigation
2020-11-12
[BREITBART] Georgia Senate Democrat candidate Raphael Warnock was arrested in 2002 for obstructing a police investigation into alleged child abuse at a church camp in Carroll County, Maryland.

Revs. Warnock and Andre Wainwright, who both worked at Douglas Memorial Community Church, were accused in court documents of attempting to prevent a state trooper from interviewing counselors at the church’s Camp Farthest Out in Eldersburg, Maryland, regarding alleged abuse at the church.

Warnock hopes to oust Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) during the January senate runoff.

A state trooper said that neither Warnock nor Wainwright were suspects in the child abuse investigation, although the trooper declined to describe the nature of the suspected abuse.

Warnock, the senior pastor at the church, said that the alleged abuse was not sexual.

Warnock and Wainwright interrupted a police interview of a camp counselor in 2002. After Sherlocks moved the interview to a picnic area, the reverends interfered against and tried to prevent one camper from directing police to other potential witnesses.

Maryland State Trooper Diane Barry of the state police Child and Sexual Assault Unit said, "I’ve never encountered resistance like that at all."

Barry contended that the counselors consented to be interviewed after they were told they were free to go at any time and were not obligated to answer Barry’s questions. After being arrested and charged, Warnock and Wainwright were released.

Warnock claimed that he merely wanted to ensure that lawyers were present during counselor interviews:

Ga. Dem Raphael Warnock Repeatedly Praised Jeremiah Wright, Marxism
2020-11-11
[Breitbart] Georgia Senate Democrat candidate Raphael Warnock has praised the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright on many occasions and praised Marxism as a way to "teach the black church."

During the 2008 presidential election, Warnock appeared on Fox News to defend Wright after it was discovered that then-presidential candidate Barack Obama had close ties to the reverend. Warnock hopes to unseat Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) during the January Senate runoff election.

During his March 2008 appearance on Fox News, he told host Greta Van Susteren that Wright’s legacy as a pastor was "social transformation that’s been the hallmark of Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s ministry."

He added that this legacy of "social transformation" was "why we are happy to honor" Wright. Warnock defended Wright’s "God Damn America" sermon as a form of "truth-telling," which makes the United States "uncomfortable."

The Democrat chided the media for the "constant playing over and over again of the same sound bites outside of context." He also praised Wright as a "preacher and a prophet."

The Progressive Revolution: From Democratic to Liberal to Progressive to Socialist

[NR] Obama kick-started a cycle that moves ever farther left ‐ even he now seems passé.

Americans voted for Barack Obama in 2008 despite, not because of, his most partisan voting record in the Senate. They were once willing to look past his earlier dubious associations with abject anti-Semites such as the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, former terrorists like Bill Ayers, and unhinged characters such as Father Pfleger. They also averted their eyes from Obama’s often quite offensive commentary, in his autobiography and during the 2008 campaign (e.g., "typical white person" and "they cling to..." speech).

Instead, voters were tired of the Iraq War (which was over for all practical purposes by the time of the November 2008 election).

They were, of course, terrified by the September 2008 financial meltdown (which had been mostly stabilized four months later by the time of the inauguration) and irate at the kid-gloves treatment accorded often conniving banks and investors.

They were convinced that Obama might be healing and transformative as the first African-American president, supposedly only slightly to the left of a far steadier and more qualified Condoleezza Rice or Colin Powell. And half the Democrats were already becoming sick of Hillary Clinton once they became reacquainted with her on the 2008 primary-campaign trail.

As is typical of American politics, voters in 2008 also wanted to change the party in power after it had been in the lead for eight years, and the lame-duck president fell out of favor. Voters certainly were underwhelmed by an uninspiring, herky-jerky, mostly incompetent John McCain campaign, notable for his "that’s not who we are" comments and his willingness to "lose nobly."

Such was the naïve dream.

Obama Was Accused of Offering Hush Money to Jeremiah Wright... and No One Cared
2018-08-22
[PJ] Yesterday’s news that President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in federal court and accused Trump of committing a federal crime by directing him to pay hush money to two women "for the principal purpose of influencing the election" was definitely shocking. According to Cohen and his attorney, Trump violated campaign finance laws by allegedly directing Cohen to make these hush money payments. This point had me confused.

For the moment, let’s put aside the obvious problems with Cohen’s credibility and assume he’s telling the truth. According to a Reuters article about the Cohen pleas:

Under U.S. election law, campaign contributions, defined as things of value given to a campaign to influence an election, must be disclosed. A payment intended to silence allegations of an affair just before an election could constitute a campaign contribution, which is limited to $2,700 per person per election, some experts said.
So, let’s review... A payment to silence someone from making potentially damaging statements "could constitute" a campaign contribution according to "some" experts? There’s clearly a significant amount of subjectivity here. But, here’s the thing: if everything went down as Cohen says it did, then why wasn’t Obama held to the same standard?

That’s right, Barack Obama also offered an individual hush money "for the principal purpose of influencing the election," but you probably never heard about it. It wasn’t to silence a mistress though, it was to silence his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. Wright’s inflammatory, anti-American rhetoric caused Obama significant headaches during his first presidential campaign, and he tried to contain the damage to protect his chances of winning the White House.

Edward Klein broke the story in the New York Post on May 13, 2012‐the same year Obama was reelected‐that Obama’s team tried to buy Wright’s silence during the 2008 campaign. According to Wright, he was offered $150,000 through an Obama intermediary (one of Obama’s closest friends), and Obama himself tried to persuade him to keep quiet.

[National Review] Trump creates hysteria, both rabid antipathies and fervent support.

General chaos surrounds President Trump. Few dispute that. All argue over the origins, causes, and nature of these wild reactions to our president.

Take the Left’s loathing of Trump that arises from three sources.

First, Trump supposedly has no shame. The traditional leftist use of invectives such as "racist," "sexist," "homophobe," and "nativist" appears to have had little effect on Trump ‐ as it seems to have done on McCain (who in 2008 ruled out attacks on Obama’s personal pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright) and Romney (who passed on standing down debate moderator and rank partisan Candy Crowley).
