They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. ’s Baramulla district that resulted in the elimination of two unidentified turbans while a massive search operation was on.

Official sources said that the security forces retrieved the body of one of the two terrorists.

The operation was started after the movement of two to three turbans was detected during the early hours, prompting an immediate response from the Army. "OP SABURA, URI #BaramullaAn Infiltration bid on #LoC has been foiled by alert troops in the morning hours today when turbans were trying to infiltrate through Sabura Nala, Uri Sector. 01xTerrorist has been eliminated. Operations in progress.@NorthernComd_IA@adgpi@HQ_IDS_India," Chinar Corps -Indian Army posted on X.

Infiltration activities typically decrease during the winter season due to harsh weather conditions, with a resurgence expected as the snow begins to melt and passes open up.
The infiltrators were challenged by the Indian Army, leading to a fierce shootout in which two bad boyz were potted.

Their identities have not yet been ascertained, and the operation is still underway in the area to ensure the elimination of any remaining threat.

This incident marks the first infiltration attempt from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir this year.

Infiltration activities typically decrease during the winter season due to harsh weather conditions, with a resurgence expected as the snow begins to melt and passes open up.

General Officer Commanding (GoC) of 15 Corps, Rajiv Ghai, recently visited the LoC to assess the operational preparedness of the Army. During his visit, he interacted with artillery units and emphasised the importance of maintaining a high state of operational readiness and morale to tackle future challenges effectively.

The timing of this infiltration attempt is crucial, as it comes ahead of the Lok Sabha

elections.

The Army said that intermittent fire was also exchanged from Pak forward posts in the vicinity of the Line of Control (LoC) during the counter-infiltration operation.

The successful foiling of the infiltration bid was the result of a joint operation led by the Army, which had received numerous intelligence inputs indicating plans of terrorist groups to infiltrate across the LoC in the Uri sector.

Based on these inputs, the counter-infiltration grid was reviewed and strengthened.

According to the Army’s statement, their ambushes detected a group of hard boyz moving towards the LoC in the early hours of Friday.

The security forces tracked their movement and established contact, leading to a heavy exchange of fire.

The operation resulted in the killing of two hard boyz and the recovery of two AK rifles, three magazines, four hand grenades, and ammunition, among other war-like stores.

The Army emphasised that this infiltration bid by hard boyz highlights Pakistain’s desperation to disrupt peace in Kashmir, especially at a time when Lok Sabha elections are scheduled and the democratic process is underway.

The operation’s success was attributed to the synergy between various security and intelligence agencies committed to ensuring peace and tranquillity in Kashmir.
Oooooohhhh, synergy. Such a s3xy word, and all the rage in managerial circles these days…or at least some years back when I paid attention to such things.
The Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency, where the incident took place, is slated to go to polls on May 20 in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

It is considered one of the most sensitive constituencies due to its proximity to Pakistain-Indian Kashmire (PoK), encompassing three districts of Kupwara, Bandipora, and Baramulla, all sharing a border with PoK.

The incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in the region and the continued efforts of anti-India elements to disrupt peace in Kashmir.

] The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted raids at eight locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with a terror funding case.

The raids are still underway in close coordination with Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) at seven locations in Kashmir and one in Jammu, said sources privy to the development.

The agency sleuths are carrying out these raids at Shopian and Baramulla, among other areas. The places searched included the residents and other hideouts of the suspects linked to the case.

The raids were conducted days after the central agency arrested an accused in the Pakistain-backed terrorism case involving the delivery of weapons through drones to snuffies active in Kashmir.

The agency had shared the input on November 29 after a team from the NIA Jammu Branch nabbed 22-year-old namely Zakir Hussain of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on November 27.

He was the eight accused to be arrested in the case registered by the NIA on July 30 last year after taking over the case from Kathua Police.

One of the seven accused arrested earlier had died due to cardiac arrest while in judicial custody while two Pakistain-based terror operatives are absconding.

NIA is continuing with its investigations in the matter to unravel the bigger conspiracy of Pakistain-backed terrorist groups to carry out acts of terror and violence in the Kashmir valley and across India. (ANI)

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the land, registered in the name of Mukhtar Bhat, the father of the accused Irfan Ahmad Bhat, was identified as "proceeds of terrorism" in a case filed against him in 2022, the Police said in a notice sent to the accused.

They said that the case pertains to the recovery of explosives and other incriminating material from his possession under case FIR No 43/2022 under sections 23 UA(P) Act, 04 and Explosive Substance Act of Police Station Bandipora.

The Police said that the land had been put under restrictions and could not be transferred, leased out, disposed of, or changed in any way without the prior permission of the designated authority.

e] The Indian Army on Thursday said despite winter setting in, there was no reduction in infiltration attempts made by the forces of Evil across the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Baramulla district.

Col Raghav Commanding Officer 8RR was briefing media persons about operation Kali wherein a major infiltration bid was foiled along LoC on November 15.

The Army officer said that Operation Kaali, a joint effort between the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police, successfully thwarted an infiltration bid in the Uri sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on November 15.

"This operation led to significant casualties among forces of Evil and the recovery of various warlike supplies," the Army Officer said.

He said that Operation Kaali was initiated based on intelligence from our sources and the Srinagar bureau. Upon receiving intelligence, the Indian Army strengthened its counter-infiltration and surveillance grids in the area.

"Joint operation parties were deployed, and in the early hours of November 15, our surveillance tracked the movement of forces of Evil across the LoC," he said

The Army Officer said that upon infiltrating, the forces of Evil were engaged, leading to a exchange of gunfire.

"Following the exchange, a detailed search of the area revealed numerous terrorist casualties, though the exact number remains unconfirmed due to the proximity to the LoC," he said.

The officer said two bodies were recovered, along with warlike stores, including AK series rifles, two pistols, few Chinese grenades, ammunition, medical supplies, eatables, Pak currency, and identification papers.

"A significant outcome of the operation was the elimination of Bashir Ahmad Malik and his lover companion Ahmad Gani Sheikh," he said.

He said Malik, a prominent figure in cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, served as a launch commander aiding infiltrations for the past three decades.

"He played a key role in facilitating infiltrations across the LoC, resulting in the loss of numerous Indian lives, including those of the armed forces. Malik’s demise deals a severe blow to the terror infrastructure operating across the LoC," he said.

He said the recent incident shows the desperation of forces of Evil to infiltrate to this side despite winter season setting in.

"But Indian Army is well prepared to foil all their attempts," he said.

Three Moslem Minors Apprehended in Stone Pelting Incident, Eight Women Injured
2023-11-21
[OneIndia] Three minors were apprehended in connection with a stone pelting incident in which eight women suffered injuries when they were on their way for a prayer ceremony in Nuh,
...a town in Haryana state, south of India’s Punjab state...
police said on Saturday.

One of them, a nine-year-old, was released on bail after he was produced before the child welfare committee while two others, both aged 12 years, were sent to a correction home after being produced before the juvenile justice board, they said.

At least eight women suffered injuries after some unidentified persons hurled stones at them allegedly from a mosque and madrasa in Nuh on Thursday night.

A senior police officer Saturday said the case is being investigated thoroughly but no role of any other has come to the fore yet.

Police on Friday registered an FIR against unidentified persons in connection with this incident.

Three minors were questioned by the police in the presence of their parents and later apprehended.

On the other hand, the Madrasa authorities claimed that children were playing with slippers and pebbles on the roof when a few accidentally hit the procession.

In a presser on Friday, Pawan Kumar, state president of VHP said that they want strict action against the miscreants. The incident of stone pelting in Nuh has raised concerns about the safety of women and religious freedom in the area. The police have assured that the case is being investigated thoroughly and action will be taken against anyone found guilty.

] An infiltration bid made by holy warriors along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was foiled and two bad boyz were potted.

The Srinagar-based defence front man said that based on specific intelligence inputs from various agencies, including Jammu and Kashmir Police, security forces were alerted to the likelihood of a major infiltration attempt in the Uri sector.

"This involved a group of heavily armed holy warriors attempting to cross the LoC," he said.

The spokesperson said that taking advantage of the inclement weather, characterised by incessant rainfall and poor visibility, the holy warriors made their move.

"At approximately 3 pm on October 21, the alert troops intercepted the group, leading to a fierce exchange of gunfire. The intense firefight continued until nightfall, resulting in the killing of two holy warriors while the remaining holy warriors withdrew to the other side of the LoC, carrying the bodies of the dead terrorists," the front man said.

He said that the area remained under constant surveillance throughout the night.

"On the following day, a thorough search of the incident site was conducted, which revealed significant evidence and the recovery of a cache of heavy weaponry, including two AK series rifles, six pistols, four Chinese grenades, blankets, and two blood-stained bags containing Pak and Indian currency notes, Pak medicines, and food items," the front man said.

He said that the recovery of two blood-stained bags indicates that at least two holy warriors were seriously injured, compelling them to abandon their supplies and retreat across the LoC.

"Due to challenging weather conditions, the search operation had to be temporarily suspended and will resume when conditions improve," the front man said.

With the successful thwarting of the latest infiltration bid by foreign terrorists, the tally of infiltration attempts foiled along the LoC in north Kashmir over the last five months now stands at six.

The security forces have thwarted six infiltration attempts along the LoC in the north Kashmir districts over the last five months.

As per the official data, these operations have resulted in the killing of 14 foreign holy warriors including the killing of two holy warriors on October 21, who were attempting to infiltrate on to this side of the LoC.

As per the official data, three infiltration bids were foiled in June.

Two bad boyz were potted in the Machil, Kupwara operation on June 13 followed by the killing of five foreign holy warriors in the Jumagund, Kupwara operation on June 16.

Also, four bad boyz were potted in the Kala Jungle, Machil operation on June 23.

On July 19, two Pak bad boyz were potted in a Machil operation while an intruder was rubbed out in the Tangdhar sector of Kupwara on August 6.

from India.

The report from IANS, citing the dossier, indicates that Pannun's aim is to create divisions in India along religious lines, with a focus on influencing the Moslem population to form a separate Moslem nation named 'the democratic republic of Urduistan.'

Furthermore, he is actively engaged in radicalizing the people of Kashmir, potentially aiding in their separation from India.

The police dossier reveals that Pannun is facing 16 registered cases across the country, including in Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand.

Pannun has offered a $2.5 million reward for anyone who raises the Khalistani flag at India Gate and a $1 million reward for any police officer who prevents the hoisting of the Indian Tricolor at the Red Fort, as witnessed on August 15, 2021.

On July 7, 2022, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) officially designated him as a terrorist.

Recently, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) confiscated the Chandigarh residence and agricultural land belonging to Gurpatwant Pannun in Khankot village, Amritsar, following orders from the NIA court. A property confiscation notice was posted by NIA officials outside the house owned by the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) founder and designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu in Chandigarh.
