After reviewing various reports I’m inclined to believe it’s an elaborate mashkirova. The long lead up establishing the chef as a loose cannon lends credibility to his actions. Yet Wagner is actually run operationally by Russian line officers. This episode will draw Western sympathizers to the surface for identification and neutralization. Meanwhile there’s been a slackening of activity along the line of operations. Most importantly a large number of units can be redeployed to position on different axis, probably without being attacked by Western forces due to the ambiguity of their intent. If Wagner is short on ammo as claimed and is (in fact) dependent on regular army logistics support they aren’t going to get very far on their “March to Moscow.”

But with regard to Mossad? Hell yeah I think they could do it. — it seems to me that Mossad does small, quiet operations, even in biggish countries like Iran, and so would not be useful in staging a coup like this. And that is the only real major threat they have beaten. Everyone else just let them collapse on their own by out spending them. It is the only great Russian military achievement in modern times. Therefore they worship it.

To be fair, DarthVader, it was the only one that was existential. America in 1990 would not have erased the population and all its works to replace them with our own — as the Nazis intended to do with all the Slavs, from Poland east to the Pacific.

Currently TW, Russia sees this as an existential conflict. They need to control the chokepoints that the Soviet Union had as their population is collapsing and this is the last time they can do it. In the future there will not be enough Russians to do it.
They just didn't count on the Ukrainians fighting as hard as they have and Europe being as united as it has with the US to support them. Russia won't stop. Even if Putin is removed. The inner circle supports the war too. If a revolution removes the inner circle, then, maybe peace can be found.

Absolutely. But neither did just about everyone else, particularly President Biden’s team.
Shocked the hell out of me, I have know people that trained them after 2014 and knew they were improving. Still see some really basic tactics used for taking trenches instead of NATO infantry doctrine, but it gets the job done. One thing that Ukraine does not have in short supply is bravery.

1. Zaporozhye direction.
The enemy had no significant results in the area of Pyatikhatki, Rabotino, Makarovka and Harvest. Quite intense fighting continues in a number of areas. The enemy does not use large groups of armored vehicles. In the West, June 21-23 became the day of accepting the failure of the June offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zelensky's gang also indirectly acknowledged the failure of the offensive by blaming the West.
2. Kupyanskoe direction.
It is reported that our troops continue to consolidate in the forest area west of Sinkovka, and also crossed Oskol and created a small bridgehead on the other side. There is no talk yet about going to the outskirts of Kupyansk.
3. Swatov direction.
There is a small advance to the west of Kremennaya in the wooded area. The enemy stubbornly resists and tries to counterattack.

1. Prigozhin said that the rear camps of PMC "Wagner" were fired upon by the RF Armed Forces and that he was going to deal with Shoigu by force, since there were dead people there.
2. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that all this was an informational provocation, no one bombed the camps and the military perform their tasks in the NVO zone as usual.
3. Earlier, videos appeared on the network with fighters and commanders from various sectors of the front, who denied the loss of positions on the Vremievsky ledge and in the Rabotino area.
4. The public conflict between the leadership of PMC "Wagner" and the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry continues to escalate. In conditions of war, the situation looks more and more intolerable. The open conflict that has been smoldering since last autumn must be stopped. Apparently a criminal case against Prigozhin has been opened for incitement to rebellion.

In both a 2012 and 2014 poll, the Portuguese public ranked him as the best Prime Minister of the previous 30 years... said in the report to the Security Council that he is "appalled" by the high number of "grave violations" against children in Ukraine in 2022, "shocked" at the number of attacks on schools and hospitals, "concerned" by the detention of children, and "troubled" that some Ukrainian children have been transferred to Russia.
The U.N. chief did not put Israel on the blacklist for grave violations against 1,139 Paleostinian children, including 54 killings last year — as supporters had hoped.
Instead, he welcomed Israel's engagement with the U.N. special envoy for children in armed conflict, Virginia Gamba and its "identification of practical measures including those proposed by the U.N." to protect children.
Riyad Mansour, the Paleostinian U.N. ambassador, told news hounds Guterres "made a big mistake" in not listing the most extreme government in Israel's history.

Guterres said the spread of conflicts to new areas contributed to a 140% increase in grave violations in Myanmar and a 135% increase in South Sudan. An upsurge in activity by gangs, including al-Qaeda and the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... , also caused a severe deterioration of the situation in the central Sahel, particularly in Burkina Faso ...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other... , leading to an 85% increase in grave violations.
