University of Michigan protesters call for ‘Intifada,' demise of Israel: ‘A call to murder Jews'
[NY Post] Social media users were shocked and outraged over a recent anti-Israel rally put on by pro-Palestinian protestors at the University of Michigan this week.
The question is whether this was the bright idea of the Muslim Students Association (Muslim Brotherhood), BLM/Antifa (Black Bloc anarcho-communist syndicate), or the local Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS, a project of the PLO) chapter before pulling in the others because it’s all about intersectionality nowadays.
Clips of the protest depicted marchers, chanting "Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada" a call to violent overthrow of the Jewish state inspired by Palestinian riots and rebellions against Israel in the late 80s, early 90s, and early 2000s.

"There is only one solution!" a female marcher was seen chanting, as the crowd behind her responded, "Intifada! Revolution!

Marchers, seen walking around the Ann Arbor campus screaming into bullhorns and waving Palestinian flags, were also heard chanting the infamous anti-Israel call to arms: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!"

Media reported that the antisemitic rally was held to protest Vice President Kamala Harris’ Thursday visit to the campus, where she gave a speech on climate policy, and student activism. The protestors appeared to be standing against U.S. government support for the state of Israel.

Another video depicted the marchers outside of campus building in which Harris was giving her speech, saying, "Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crimes."

The blatant call to overthrow Israel disturbed prominent Twitter users, who were stunned that such sentiment was expressed so freely on a major American college campus.

Jewish Journal columnist Blake Flayton tweeted, "At the University of Michigan, a call to murder Jews."

Rep. Jared Moskovitz, R-Fla., spoke to the shocking nature of the rally, tweeting, "Using Hitler’s word ’solution’ is intentional here. Israel has a right to exist. We will never compromise that. The Jewish people have a right to exist. We will ensure."

Free Beacon reporter Joe Gabriel Simonson mocked the protesters, tweeting, "Loser activists think this is an intifada."

The Manhattan Institute’s Ilya Shapiro put out a snarky comment about the protest, stating, "It’s because @UMich spends only $18 million annually on DEI."

Former Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas,
Eh? Senator Cruz beat “Beto” O’Rourke to retain his seat in 2018. He’s the ranking member on the Senate Commerce Committee, as well as happily causing trouble on Foreign Relations, Judiciary, and several others.
national security advisor Boris Ryvkin condemned the rally, writing, "Terrifying. Echoes of what happened in Charlottesville, except the violent anti-Semites are cut from a different cloth. I expect major media to give this the saturated, wall-to-wall coverage it gave that event with the WH, Democratic leaders and the Squad members condemning it."

Mediaite reporter Isaac Schorr remarked, "Not making the best case for your ability to handle your own state, kiddos."

Popular conservative account AG tweeted, "I don’t think most people truly comprehend the level of hate and hostility for Jewish students in several of the top liberal Universities because the school administrations tend to support/enable this stuff."

Hollywood producer and The Spectator columnist Daniella Greenbaum Davis empathized with the Jewish students at University of Michigan. She tweeted, "The first and second intifada saw terrorists brutally murder innocent civilians. Can’t even imagine being a Jew on Michigan’s campus right now."

Author Samuel Rosenfeld tweeted, "Sickening... @UMich."

"The white people have a right to exist. We will ensure."

Funny how Jewish people will 100% agree with the first but will say the second is anti-Semitic and must be immediately censored lest the word get out.

NYC mayor Eric Adams says the city is at 'breaking point' as 400 asylum seekers arrive EACH DAY - and submits an emergency aid request to Gov. Kathy Hochul to help shelter hundreds of migrants
  • New York City Mayor Eric Adams said the city hit its 'breaking point' on Friday as he requested state aid to deal with 400 migrants arriving every day

  • Adams said that about 40,000 asylum seekers have reached the Big Apple since last spring, with 835 coming on Thursday alone

  • Many have been bused into the city by governors and city officials from border states, who claim they are helping migrants reach their preferred destination

  • Adams also called for federal aid and a immigration reform to stop the crisis

US calls for UN to urge Taliban to reverse bans on women
[Jpost] The US has called a meeting at the UN to adopt a resolution calling on the Taliban to reverse the ban of female aid workers and women attending educational institutes.
More useless posturing in the organization designed for useless posturing. I remember getting mass emails in the 1990s demanding I go to a website and sign a petition notifying the Taliban that their treatment of women was unacceptable. They didn’t respond to outside pressure from unbelievers then, either.

Africa Horn
Somalia: US military set for training in Somaliland
[Garowe] The US Africa Command is set to rigorous training in Somalia's breakaway region of Somaliland, which will also incorporate various military teams from across Africa as part of security preparedness on matters of counter-terrorism in the continent.

On Friday, the Combined Joint Task Force—Horn of Africa [CJTF-HOA] personnel conducted a site survey visit to the port of Berbera. The visit comes in advance of the U.S.-led multinational military training exercise Justified Accord scheduled for February 2023, Washington noted.

The US has been spirited in maintaining close security and development cooperation with African states amid pressure from China and Russia whose military presence in Africa is increasing. Previously, the US has expressed concerns over the new approach by Beijing and Moscow in Africa.

"Justified Accord is designed to increase multinational cooperation in crisis response and counterterrorism operations and prepare regional partners for UN and African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
-mandated missions," read a statement published by the US embassy in Somalia's capital Mogadishu.

"In addition to the port of Berbera, Justified Accord exercises will take place in Botswana, Djibouti, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda with the participation from 20 partner nations, including Somalia," the statement by the US army further read.

The U.S. military routinely surveys potential operating locations to prepare for contingencies and exercise readiness or adjust force posture as directed. Such exercises are carried out on a rotational basis across Africa and it is the first time Somalia is privileged to host the teams.

Interestingly, the training comes at the time Somaliland is facing challenges at Las Anod town in which over 20 non-combatants were killed by security forces from Somaliland following protests after the liquidation of an upcoming local politician. The scenes were widely condemned by politicians including Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

Somaliland, which claimed its own independence from Somalia in 1991 and has since been fighting for international recognition, is also facing local political unrest with the opposition accusing outgoing President Muse Bihi Abdi of failing to organize presidential polls which were scheduled for in November 2022.

The US military has been active in Somalia for the last six months after their reinstatement moments following their unprecedented withdrawal in 2021. The soldiers have been helping the Somali National Army and the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia [ATMIS] with aerial surveillance in the al-Shabaab

Somalia: Kenyan and Ethiopian forces praised for commitment in Al-Shabaab war
[Garowe] Troops from the Kenya Defense Forces [KDF] and the Æthiopian National Defense Forces [ENDF] have been hailed for "consistency" in the war against al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
particularly in Middle and Lower Jubba regions where the murderous Moslems have lost grip in recent months according to multiple reports.

Mohammed El-Amine Souef, the special representative of the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Commission Chairman Moussa Faki, noted that the ENDF and KDF contingent in African Union Transition Mission in Somalia [ATMIS] have shown both leadership and commitment around Kismayo
...a port city in the southern Lower Juba province of Somalia, at the extreme southern end of the country (always assuming Somalia can be called a country). It is the commercial capital of the autonomous Jubaland region....
and its environs.

Jubaland falls under Sectors II and VI of ATMIS and probably witnessed the most resilient offensive against al-Shabaab in the early years when the KDF was first reported in Somalia. Under Operation Sledge Hammer in 2012, the KDF managed to liberate Kismayo from the hands of the al-Shabaab.

During the visit to Kismayo to assess progress made by the soldiers, Mohammed El-Amine Souef met Brigadier General Lukas Kutto, and Jubaland’s Second Vice President, Abdulkadir Haji Mohamud, and other senior state-level officials, for briefings on the security and political situation in the region.

"I had productive discussions with the Vice President and am satisfied we are heading in the same direction with the same commitment — the fight against al-Shabaab," Souef said.

He assured the soldiers and regional administration of Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
of support as the teams push for stability in the Horn of Africa nation. Jubaland, he said, plays an integral role in the promotion of peace and tranquility within the Horn of Africa, particularly along the borders of Kenya and Æthiopia.

"This will be done not only by Jubaland leadership with the Federal Government of Somalia as well as ATMIS. The African Union mission will provide support as mandated by the UN Security Council Resolutions 2628 and 2670 of last year."

Jubaland Vice President Abdulkadir Haji Mohamud reaffirmed the readiness of his administration to conduct military offensives against the AlShabaab with the support of ATMIS. The AU representative was briefed on the progress made by the soldiers on all fronts from Dhobley to Kismayo.

"We agreed to speed up the fight against the terror group al-Shabaab and ATMIS has taken a strong position on this issue. We are happy with this and our meeting went well," Haji Mohamud said.
"Now? Lunch!"
Currently, KDF has close to 3,500 soldiers in Somalia who are deployed on a rotational basis annually just like ENDF which has close to 4,500 soldiers. It is envisaged that in the coming three years, Somalia would have stabilized and local soldiers taken over security responsibilities from ATMIS.

Release El-Zakzaky’s Passports Before Leaving Office – Islamic Movement, Shi'ites Issue Last Warning To Buhari

Why the Islamic Movement in Nigeria is still running around free is beyond me, given that Nigeria declared them a terror group in 2019. Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky is their big turban, previously the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Nigeria before he converted to Shi'ism after a visit to Iran, becoming a fiery Iranian sock puppet. Like the Muslim Brotherhood, IMN’s spinoffs, including Boko Haram/ISWAP, are much more violent.

Arabia
Saudi Arabia Not Ready to Normalize Ties with Tehran: Amir-Abdollahian
Not really surprising, given Iran’s idea of normal is that they rule the world. Conquering Iran was supposed to be only the first step.
[ENGLISH.ALMANAR.LB] Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian says Tehran is determined to restore relations with Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
but it seems Riyadh lacks the required readiness in this regard.

"Saudi Arabia is still not ready to return to normal relations. We have the needed intention and will to normalize with Saudi Arabia. If such an intention is seen in the real sense on the Saudi side, the normalization of relations will be quick and achievable," Amir-Abdollahian told Lebanese media in Beirut on Friday.

He said Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and Saudi Arabia have held five rounds of "important and positive" negotiations in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and the two countries’ foreign ministers believe talks should continue.

As the first step, he said, the two sides’ consulates general in the Iranian city of Mashhad and the Saudi city of Jeddah should be reopened to provide necessary consular services to both sides’ citizens who are willing to travel to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia and Mashhad and other Iranian holy sites.

The top Iranian diplomat pointed to his short talks with his Saudi counterpart in Amman in December and said both sides emphasized that the restoration of Tehran-Riyadh relations would have positive impacts on the two countries and the entire region.

Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic relations with Iran in January 2016 after Iranian protesters, enraged by the execution of prominent Shia holy man Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr by the Saudi government, stormed its embassy in Tehran.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Ra’am leader urges Arabs to protest government, but without Palestinian flags; 80,000 protested Bibi Netanyahu’s election Sat night in the rain
[IsraelTimes] MK Mansour Abbas says demonstrations represent broad section of Israeli public, but should avoid provoking festivities with police; 50,000 expected at Tel Aviv rally this weekend.

Ra’am party
... the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Israel showing its true colours...
leader MK Mansour Abbas called on Tuesday for Arab Israelis to join anti-government protests, but urged them not to display the Paleostinian flag at such events to avoid provoking festivities with police.

"We want to be partners in the protest using democratic means and in accordance with the law, and not bring about any direct confrontation," Abbas told the Arabic-language Ashams radio station, according to a Haaretz report of his remarks.

Though it is not illegal to display the Paleostinian flag, newly installed far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has recently instructed Israel Police officers to remove any such flags from public areas. Police are said to have disregarded his directive and to have told him there was no legal basis to confiscate them as long as no incitement was taking place.

Abbas told the radio station that the anti-government protest movement represents broad interests shared by a considerable portion of the Israeli public, and therefore displaying the Paleostinian flag is not fitting. He said his Ra’am party has not yet decided what efforts will be invested in recruiting activist muppets for the demonstrations.

On Saturday night, thousands of Israelis attended a large anti-government rally against plans by Justice Minister Yariv Levin to controversially refigure the judicial system, weakening the Supreme Court
...the political football known as The Highest Court in the Land, home of penumbrae and emanations...
so that it can no longer curb the Knesset, among other changes.

Among those who addressed the crowd was MK Ayman Odeh, leader of the Hadash-Ta’al alliance, the other Arab faction in the Knesset.

As leader of the Islamist Ra’am, Abbas participated in a meeting of opposition party chiefs on Monday that was called by opposition leader MK Yair Lapid, though Odeh did not.

At that gathering, Lapid urged party leaders to encourage their supporters to join the protests. However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
Yisrael Beytenu chief Avigdor Liberman said his faction would not participate in another upcoming Tel Aviv rally against the sweeping judicial reform package, citing concerns that "there will be radical leftists and Paleostinian flags there."

A small number of Paleostinian flags were seen at last weekend’s protest, which drew some 10,000 people, according to organizers.

Ahead of another planned demonstration in Tel Aviv this weekend, police were reportedly rebuffing Ben Gvir’s demands to toughen their stance toward protesters blocking roads or flying the Paleostinian flag during the rallies.

Opposition figures have been urging people take to the streets in greater numbers — sparking coalition accusations of "treason" and "sedition."

A senior police official told Channel 12 news on Wednesday that they were expected up to 50,000 protesters to take to the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday night.

Warsaw says Polish scientist held by Iran for alleged spying has been freed
[IsraelTimes] Poland announces release of Maciej Walczak, as Ireland confirms that it’s working with La Belle France to spring dual national arrested amid recent protests against regime

A Polish scientist held in Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
for months was released and returned home to Poland in December, a foreign ministry front man told AFP on Friday.

Maciej Walczak, a researcher at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, central Poland, is "safe and sound and with his family," Lukasz Jasina said in a message to AFP, without elaborating.

Copernicus University front man Marcin Czyzniewski said several months ago that Walczak had been held in Iran since September 2021.

Last year, Iranian state media reports identified Walczak as one of several foreigners detained on spying allegations.

The reports said he took samples of soil, water and salt from a forbidden area while the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was carrying out ballistic missile tests.

Also Friday, Ireland’s foreign ministry confirmed that authorities in Dublin are working closely with La Belle France to free Bernard Phelan, an Irish-French national, who was locked away
Youse'll never take me alive coppers!... [BANG!]... Ow!... I quit!
in Iran in October.

Phelan, a Gay Paree-based tourism consultant, is being held in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad city on multiple charges, including disseminating anti-regime propaganda and taking pictures of security services.

He has denied all the charges.

"The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the case and has been providing consular assistance in close coordination with La Belle France since the outset," a spokesperson for the department told AFP.

"The case has also been raised directly with the Iranian authorities," they added, declining to comment on specifics.

Originally from Clonmel in the southern county of Tipperary, Phelan, 64, was traveling through Mashhad in the wake of recent protests against Iran’s holy manal government when he was arrested.

According to the Irish Times, he began a hunger strike at the start of the year.

His family has said they are concerned for the health of the tour operator who suffers from a heart condition, explaining that as well as refusing food, he has also stopped taking his medication.

His sister, Caroline Masse-Phelan, has highlighted the cramped and cold conditions her brother has been forced to endure in Vakilabad Prison.

She believes he has been detained in a political dispute between Gay Paree and Tehran and was "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Phelan is one of dozens of Western nationals held in Iran, described by activist muppets as hostages innocent of any crime and detained at the behest of the powerful IRGC to use as leverage against Western powers.

against the backdrop of talks on reviving a 2015 deal on Iran’s nuclear program.

Nationals of all three European powers involved in the talks on the Iranian nuclear program — Britannia, La Belle France and Germany — are among the foreigners being held.

Iran has been rocked by a wave of anti-regime protests in recent months that have further strained ties between Tehran and the West and risk limiting the scope for diplomacy with the Islamic Theocratic Republic.

Almost a year ago, an Iranian court sentenced French national Benjamin Briere to eight years in prison on spying charges.

Tehran has insisted all the foreigners held are on the grounds of domestic law but has also expressed readiness for prisoner swaps.
