-War on Police-
Under Attack: Border Patrol Agent Assaulted While Arresting Illegal Aliens, Taken to Hospital
Being an agent of the Imperium ain't what it used to be.
[MSN] The longer President Joe Biden and his administration ignore the true severity of the border crisis, the uglier it gets.

And a recent photo shared in a Facebook post by the US Border Patrol Yuma Sector graphically demonstrates that fact, portraying a border agent's wounds after he was assaulted while taking illegal aliens into custody at the border near San Luis, Arizona.

According to the caption on the photo: "Human smugglers assaulted an agent with rocks while he was arresting illegal border crossers on the west side of San Luis, AZ, Tuesday morning...The agent was transported to the hospital for treatment. Yuma Sector is working with our investigative partners to bring those responsible to justice."

In a post on X sharing the Border Patrol's Facebook post, NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley wrote that "@USBPChief reports more than 108 agents have been assaulted over the last 3 1/2 months (FYTD)."

Some attacks on Border Patrol agents make headlines. Some don't. In March, a female border agent was beaten when trying to arrest an illegal immigrant in Tuscon, Arizona. In September of 2023, another border agent was brutalized and humiliated by the human smugglers he caught bringing migrants into the country.

And on top of all that, it was shortly after the latter instance that the FBI discovered text messages from cartel members promising $200 rewards for anyone who could provide addresses for Border Patrol agents, and $1,000 for "they mommas address."

The violence perpetrated by those coming over the border illegally is an everyday reality for the heroic men and women fighting the seemingly futile battle at the border while our useless president worries about performative inclusivity and climate change.

This is the reality of what's happening on the border.

If the excessive violence weren't the first clue, it's not the migrants and refugees crossing the border to find a better life who are viciously assaulting border agents.

The traffickers, who are making a fortune thanks to Biden's open-border policies, and criminals bent on taking up their careers in the United States, are a different matter.

In February, former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott told NewsNation, "People that are actually fleeing from fear, persecution in their own country and want to claim asylum in the United States ... walk up to the first agent they can find, and they surrender. They don’t assault agents. They don’t try to get away."

Heavy gunfight followed car blast reported in newly liberated Somali town
[ShabelleMedia] Multiple casualties are feared after al-Shabaab
... the personification of Somali state failure...
launched an attack targeting a Somali national army base in the country’s central province of Mudug.

The pre-dawn attack took place in the newly liberated small town of Aad [Caad] where Somali government forces and its allied clan militias are based.

The al-Shabaab ambush assault began with a boom-mobile blast followed by heavy gunfire between the attackers and the National Army soldiers.

The Somali government said the country’s national army (SNA) and local forces "successfully" repulsed the attack and pushed back al-Shabaab from the area.

"We swiftly staged a robust defense at the base, neutralizing the threat. Our troops inflicted heavy casualties on al-Shabaab terrorists, ensuring the area remains secure," the government added.

Suicide Bombing at Security Checkpoint in Mogadishu
[Garowe] A suicide kaboom occurred today at a security checkpoint in the Ali Kamiin intersection of the Warta-Nabadda district in the Banaadir region of Mogadishu. The attacker, who was reportedly strapped with explosives, let 'er rip near the Mogadishu Stadium’s sport Village, coinciding with a football match between Galmudug
...a semiautonomous region in central Somalia, bordering Puntland on the north. Galmudug is not trying to obtain international recognition as a separate nation, but rather considers itself autonomous within the larger Somali federalism, for what that's worth...
and Banaadir.

Reliable sources indicate that security forces fired upon the bomber, causing injuries before the earth-shattering kaboom. There are reports of multiple casualties resulting from the blast.

In a brief statement, the government confirmed that no one else was harmed in the incident, with only the bomber losing his life.

The situation in Mogadishu has stabilized since the attack, and the semifinal match between Galmudug and Banaadir continued as planned.

Maersk ships turn around despite being escorted by US Navy
[TradewindsNews] The US arm of AP Moller-Maersk is suspending voyages through the Red Sea after two of its container ships came under missile attack while being escorted by the US Navy.

The 6,200-teu Maersk Detroit and 2,474-teu Maersk Chesapeake (both built 2008) turned around in the Red Sea and were escorted back to the Gulf of Aden, said the company. Qatar Energy admits Red Sea diversions will hit LNG cargo scheduling.

The master of an unidentified ship reported an explosion 100 metres from its starboard side, the UK Maritime Trade Operations said earlier.

US Central Command, which coordinates the country’s military operations in the region, said three anti-ship ballistic missiles were fired toward the Maersk Detroit.

One missile hit the sea, while the warship USS Gravely shot down two others.

The two ships were carrying cargo and aid for the US government and were given protection by the navy for the passage through the Bab El-Mandeb strait, said subsidiary Maersk Line Ltd, for which the US military is a major customer on its US-flag ships.

Houthis launch a military operation against US ships in the Gulf of Aden

Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) has launched a military operation against US Navy ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the organization's military spokesman, Yahya Saria, said in a statement.

He clarified that on January 24, in these waters, the group came into conflict with several American military vessels that were providing protection to two commercial ships. According to a spokesman for the movement, the missiles that the Houthis launched towards the enemy were allegedly able to reach their targets.

At the same time, as a result of the operation, one of the American ships was directly hit. Saria also said that the fighting lasted about two hours.

As Regnum reported, on the night of January 12, the United States and Britain launched missile attacks on Ansar Allah facilities in Yemen in response to attacks on their ships in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. At the same time, Washington and London continued to attack targets on Yemeni territory.

On January 24, the Pentagon said that since the start of its military operation, American troops have destroyed or damaged more than 25 launchers and over 20 missiles in Yemen. In addition, the department spoke about US strikes on the base areas of unmanned aerial vehicles, coastal radars and aerial reconnaissance assets on Yemeni territory.

On January 24, another British ship was attacked off the coast of Yemen. However, the ship and its crew were not damaged.

Apparently the US Navy cannot provide an impenetrable defensive umbrella. The Gerald Ford was sent packing and the Brits won't even engage a flattop.

Wrong devices for defensive patrol when CENTCOM declares a newsworthy victory in aerial bombardment for only two destroyed launchers.

  • Rocket fire preceded Operation Cast Lead in 2008.

  • Rocket fire preceded Operation Pillar of Defense in 2012.

  • Rocket fire preceded Operation Protective Edge in 2014.

  • Rocket fire preceded that thing in 2021 with the rockets and fire balloons.

  • Rocket fire preceded the current thing.

One is forced to conclude that Israel would not attack if Hamas did not start each round... or more properly, if Hamas did not end each hudna as soon as they felt able to resume their jihad to conquer Israel.

How can it be ethnic cleansing when all 2.3 million of them are still there? Let us note in passing that in 1948 an estimated 200,000 Arab refugees arrived in Gaza. That’s some genocide Israel is doing, when instead of being wiped out the population is more than ten times bigger without immigration.

Mexican Border City Flooded with Soldiers ‐ Cartel Boss' Arrest Raises Violence Concerns
About 20 miles from SpaceX launch base.
[Breitbart] Mexican military forces flooded into the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, and began patrolling the region in an attempt to diffuse any potential violence. The move comes days after the arrest of a top leader with the Gulf Cartel.

Despite the show of force, the military presence is not expected to have any real impact since the Mexican Army has largely avoided fighting with the Gulf Cartel — leaving most of the fighting to state police forces.

Since the weekend, airplanes carrying hundreds of troops arrived at the Matamoros airport. Government officials told Breitbart Texas the troops would be in the city for 15 to 30 days, carrying out patrols in the border region to ensure public safety.

The mobilization of military troops comes just days after, as Breitbart Texas reported, authorities in the neighboring state of Nuevo Leon arrested Juan Alberto “La Kena” Garcia Vilano, a Gulf Cartel leader who controlled the city of Matamoros. The arrest took place in Nuevo Leon where La Kena was visiting a luxury shopping center. La Kena has been singled out as one of the men ultimately responsible for most of the violence taking place in northern Tamaulipas. Due to government connections and widespread corruption in Mexico, he managed to avoid facing consequences.

As Breitbart Texas has reported, military forces and Mexican federal police forces have not played a significant role in fighting drug cartels in Tamaulipas. The brunt of that fight has been shouldered by the state police forces and agents with the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office.

While Matamoros has avoided any large-scale shootouts within the city, as Breitbart Texas reported, in the city of Rio Bravo Gulf, Cartel gunmen have killed innocent bystanders in unprovoked attacks.

Colombia announces capture of its first narco-submarine of the year carrying nearly 800 kilos of cocaine worth $23.8 MILLION
About one per month.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] According to the UN´s office for Drug and Crime, the area planted with coca bushes in Colombia reached an all-time high of 230,000 hectares in 2022, with potential cocaine production also rising to 1,700 tons - a 24 percent increase from the previous year.

As the production of the Type-A party drug continues to increase in Colombia, its neighbor, Ecuador serves as a popular route for drug trafficking organizations smuggling shipments to the United States and Eurpoe.

On Saturday, officials in Ecuador announced they had also seized a submarine carrying 3.2 tons of cocaine. The submarine was captured with information supplied by Colombia´s navy.

A 49 foot-long narco-submarine loaded with 795 kilos of cocaine was intercepted off Colombia's Pacific coast, the military said.

The homemade vessel was bound for Central America when it was successfully intercepted by the navy Saturday morning outside the seaport city of Buenaventura.

The cocaine was split into almost 800 small rectangular packages wrapped in plastic. Each packet was stamped with images of scorpions and Mexican flags. The massive shipment could have produced two million doses.

Four suspects, whose names were not released, were taken into custody.

Navy spokesman Captain Wilmer Roa said the submersible was the first to be intercepted this year after 10 narco-submarines were captured in 2023.

'In reality, this was a small seizure,' he said. 'We´ve caught submarines with almost 3,500 kilos of the drug.'

Drug trafficking organizations, according to Roa, utilize the hulls of speedboats to built the submarines and adjust to they can travel just under the surface of the sea.

'Some people die inside these machines, because they experience mechanical failures, or have very small ducts for letting in fresh air,' he said.

Despite the ongoing shipments busts, the Colombian government has been unable to curb cocaine production in recent years with rebel groups and drug trafficking gangs taking over territory that was abandoned by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia guerrillas following the group's 2016 peace deal with the government.

According to the UN´s office for Drug and Crime, the area planted with coca bushes in Colombia reached an all-time high of 230,000 hectares in 2022, with potential cocaine production also rising to 1,700 tons - a 24 percent increase from the previous year.

Resident of Kizilyurt with many children received a suspended sentence for involvement in militants
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A court in Kizilyurt found local resident Zulfiya Dengalova guilty of participating in an illegal armed group in Syria. Taking into account her repentance and the fact that the woman is raising four children alone, the court sentenced her to suspended imprisonment for five years.

The Kizilyurt City Court found local resident Zulfiya Dengalova guilty of participating in an illegal armed group on the territory of a foreign state, RIA Dagestan reported today with reference to the press service of the FSB Directorate for the Republic.

According to the investigation and the court, Dengalova left Russia in 2014, illegally crossed the Turkish-Syrian border and joined one of the structural armed formations of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" in Syria, the report states.

As follows from the decision published on the court’s website, Dengalova “turned herself in, fully admitted her guilt, and contributed to solving the crime.” The court also took into account that she “has a permanent place of residence and is characterized positively, has four dependent young children whom she supports alone,” and sentenced her to five years of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of three years. From the data in the case file it follows that the verdict was not appealed.

The "Caucasian Knot" also reported that in April 2023, the cassation court returned for review to the prosecutor's office the case of Khanumkyz Kulibekova, whom the court in Khasavyurt  sentenced  to five years in prison on charges of intending to join an illegal armed group in Syria. The court recommended that the charges be reclassified under a more stringent article.

Two residents of Chechnya were fined for publishing Mutsuraev’s song
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited..

A court in Chechnya fined local residents Iles Paykhaev and Beslan Yusupov for publishing on a social network a song by Timur Mutsuraev,
...singer-songwriter on Chechen independence and Islamic themes (1995-2001), fought in the Chechen wars under Ruslan Gelayev. Some of his songs were banned in Russia in 2010...
included in the list of extremist materials.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote, in 2010, more than 30 songs of the bard Timur Mutsuraev were recognized as extremist and included in the federal list of materials prohibited for distribution. Publication of such articles may result in a fine of one to three thousand rubles or up to 15 days of arrest. In December 2023, it became known that the court fined Gudermes resident Naib Manaev one thousand rubles for publishing Mutsuraev’s song “12 thousand Mujahideen” (also referred to as “12 thousand Mujahideen”) on a social network.

Timur Mutsuraev has been known  in Chechnya since the first military campaign. He sang songs about the war in Russian, and later religious motifs and calls for jihad appeared in his work.

The Shatoi District Court in Chechnya found local residents Iles Paykhaev and Beslan Yusupov guilty of distributing extremist materials for publishing Timur Mutsuraev’s song “12 thousand Mujahideen” on social networks, Kavkaz.Realii reports today.

Paykhaev and Yusupov were found guilty under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Production and distribution of extremist materials), which provides for citizens from a fine of 1,000 rubles to 15 days of arrest, as indicated in their case files on the court’s website.

According to the text of the resolution on the court’s website, Iles Paykhaev posted the song “12 thousand Mujahideen” in the public domain on the Odnoklassniki social network. Paykhaev admitted guilt and repented.

Beslan Yusupov, according to the court, also published this song on the Odnoklassniki social network. “He fully admitted his guilt in committing an administrative offense under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and repented. He explained that in the future he would not allow illegal actions,” the resolution on Yusupov’s case says.

Both Paykhaev and Yusupov were fined 1,000 rubles, as indicated in court publications.

The audio recording “Timur Mutsuraev - 12,000 Mujahideen.mp3” is included in the federal list of extremist materials under number 4594 by decision of the Gusevsky City Court of the Kaliningrad Region dated April 18, 2017, as indicated in the list of extremist materials posted on the website of the Ministry of Justice.

Iraq
Turkish warplanes bomb Duhok’s Shiladze
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish warplanes on Wednesday bombarded the slopes of Mount Kurazhar, approximately two kilometers away from the center of Duhok’s Shiladze district, spreading panic among nearby residents.

Locals of the district told Rudaw that festivities between Ottoman Turkish forces and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) had been ongoing since 11:00 pm Tuesday, and continued until the Ottoman Turkish forces began bombarding the mountain at around 9:30 am Wednesday.

Several artillery shells reportedly fell near residential areas, causing fear and panic among the locals.

There have been no reports of casualties or material damage as of the writing of this article.

This winter has been a violent mostly peaceful one in the decades-long conflict between the PKK and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
.

Tensions have escalated between Ottoman Turkish forces and the PKK in Shiladze and Deralok in recent weeks. Clashes between the two sides forced the residents of four Deralok villages to evacuate out of fear for their lives.

Turkey sent its army back into northern Duhok province in April of last year, launching Operation Claw-Lock with the goal of targeting PKK positions in Metina, Zap, Avashin, and Basyan areas. The operation, according to Ankara, aims to remove the PKK from the border area and cut off its access to Turkey.

In addition to having recently upped its attacks against the PKK in the Kurdistan Region, Turkey has also intensified its targeting of Kurdish fighters in northern Syria due to their alleged ties with the PKK.

One killed in US airstrikes on pro-Iran militias in Iraq
Follow-up to this story from yesterday.
[Rudaw] The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) on Wednesday announced that its forces had struck facilities of Iran-affiliated militias in Iraq, mainly Kataib Hezbollah, in retaliation for the groups’ ongoing attacks targeting American personnel in the country. At least one militiaman was killed in the Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s.

The unilateral airstrikes, carried out at around 12:15 am, were in response to a missile strike from pro-Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. Wednesday’s retaliatory attacks struck three facilities of the Kataib Hezbollah and other Iran-backed groups in Iraq. According to a statement from CENTCOM, the strikes targeted the groups’ "headquarters, storage, and training locations for rocket, missile, and one-way attack UAV capabilities."

The state-linked Popular Mobilization Forces’ (PMF) al-Jazeera Operations Command announced later that one of its bases in Anbar’s Qaim district was struck in the American attack, confirming that at least one of its fighters were killed and two others were maimed.

The group also reported that a PMF training facility in northern Babil province’s Jurf al-Nasr (formerly Jurf al-Sakhar) was targeted by the US forces as well.

button men as displaced Paleostinians in the area continued to head further south.

In a statement Wednesday morning, the IDF said its 98th Division is continuing the large-scale offensive against Hamas in the area of Khan Younis, which it said is "increasing the pressure" on Hamas, while eliminating "many terror cells" with sniper fire, tank shelling and Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s.

The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said Wednesday that 210 people had been killed in the Strip in the past 24 hours, as the IDF said it continues to battle and kill armed Hamas button men and "terror cells." Paleostinian officials accused Israel of encircling two hospitals in the city, preventing patients from entering the facilities.

The IDF did not immediately respond to the claim, but it has repeatedly accused Hamas of utilizing hospitals as command centers as well as holding hostages in them.

The military said troops from its Commando Brigade carried out raids on Hamas sites in the Khan Younis camp, where they encountered many operatives, including squads preparing to fire anti-tank missiles.

Also amid the operations in Khan Younis, the IDF said the Givati Brigade directed airstrikes on two cells of Hamas button men; the 7th Armored Brigade raided a number of Hamas sites, where troops killed several operatives and seized weapons used by the terror group; and the Paratroopers Brigade killed "a large number of terrorists" in a series of attacks.

A day earlier, the military announced the deaths of 24 IDF soldiers in the Strip, three of whom were killed in Khan Younis and 21 in a building collapse in central Gaza following a kaboom.

As displaced Gaza continued to crowd into the southernmost city of Rafah, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi said Wednesday that the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip is open 24/7, but Israeli procedures were obstructing the entry of aid, adding: "This is part of how they exert pressure on the issue of releasing the hostages."

COGAT, the Defense Ministry’s liaison office with the Paleostinians, said there is no limit to the amount of aid that can enter the Strip, but it must be checked for security reasons: "Our inspection process is efficient, with us scaling up our capacities to maximize inspection capabilities," COGAT said.

At least 25,700 Gazooks have been killed so far in the war, the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry said Wednesday, an unverified figure which is believed to include close to 10,000 Hamas operatives Israel said it has killed during fighting in the Strip. Two hundred and nineteen IDF soldiers have been killed in the Gaza ground offensive.

Israel launched its offensive on Hamas following the terror group’s murderous rampage through communities and a music festival in southern Israel, in which it killed close to 1,200 people and took another 253 hostage, 132 of whom are believed to still be held captive in Gaza.

On Wednesday afternoon, the IDF released footage of the Givati Brigade’s operations in Khan Younis over the past day, during which it said troops killed numerous Hamas operatives and raided the terror group’s sites. The military said Givati soldiers killed several Hamas button men during festivities in the area, as well as with tank shelling and airstrikes.

Givati troops also raided several Hamas outposts in the Khan Younis area, locating caches of weapons used by the terror group’s operatives, the IDF said. The Air Force carried out a wide wave of airstrikes on Hamas targets in the area before the Givati soldiers moved in, the IDF said, as "the precise strikes prepare the conditions in the field for the ground forces."

Residents of the area reported fierce gunbattles in the west of the city, while the Paleostinian Islamic Jihad
...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. terror group said it was fighting Israeli forces in the west, south and east of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile,
...back at the barn, a little lightbulb figuratively appeared over Bossy's head...
in central Gaza, the IDF said that reservists of its Yiftah Brigade spotted a Hamas gunman observing the troops from a building. The soldiers shelled the building, killing the operative. In northern Gaza, the IDF said the 215th Artillery Regiment directed several airstrikes, killing "many terrorists."

While fighting in northern Gaza has been less intensive in recent weeks, a UN mission tasked with assessing conditions in northern Gaza has yet to begin amid Israeli concerns that the area is not yet safe, two officials familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel on Tuesday.

The US is looking for Paleostinians to be allowed to return to northern Gaza after the IDF ordered its one million residents to evacuate at the beginning of the war. The safety concern voiced by Israel also appears to be an implicit acknowledgement that it does not have complete control of northern Gaza, even after ending what it called high-intensity fighting in the area earlier this month.

A US official said that the Biden administration trusts the Israeli assessment, but is also cognizant that Jerusalem may try and drag its feet in allowing the UN team to complete its mission. The official acknowledged that Israel is in no rush to allow Paleostinians to return to northern Gaza, given that it has not yet determined who will be in charge of running civil affairs in that area, where Hamas is said to have largely lost its hold.

IDF slams UK network after claim unarmed Gazan was shot dead shortly after interview
[IsraelTimes] The IDF slams a British broadcaster over a report claiming an unarmed Paleostinian raising his hands in the air along with several others, including one waving a white flag, was rubbed out by IDF troops in Khan Younis,

The military says the footage was edited and blasts ITV News for serving as an arm of Hamas
...the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood,...
’s propaganda effort.

The footage shows 51-year-old Ramzi Abu Sahloul being interviewed, explaining that he and the four men with him were ordered by the IDF to evacuate a building that was to be targeted by the army. Abu Sahloul says that they were trying to return to the area in order to reach his mother and brother who hadn’t managed to evacuate in time.

The cameraman then turns away upon completing the interview. In then cuts to what the news hound says is a short while later, with gunshots heard and the group of men with the white flag beginning to run in the other direction. But one of them — reportedly Abu Sahloul — falls to the ground after being shot in the chest.

The footage doesn’t show who carried out the gunfire.

Amid screams, the young men lift him to safety before his wife arrives and cries out in distress.

Responding to the footage, the IDF tells ITV: "It is imperative to emphasize that the alarming, libelous and a gross mischaracterization of the war with these despicable accusations can only be deemed as an extension of Hamas’s propaganda effort to defame the IDF and undermine our objective to dismantle Hamas and ensure the terrorist entity never again holds the power to build a terrorist army, invade Israel, murder, burn, rape and abduct Israelis."

hostages block Tel Aviv’s main Ayalon Highway, in scenes not seen since the bitter nationwide fight over the government’s judicial overhaul last year.

After a day of women-led protests that blocked many roads in coordination with police, the Ynet news site estimates that some 5,000 demonstrators are blocking the key artery at Hashalom Interchange, demanding an immediate deal to return all the hostages and chanting "Stop the world, our brothers are there."

Protesters clash with police forces and initially prevent them from clearing the road.

IDF razes home of Palestinian accused of supplying guns in deadly June attack
[IsraelTimes] Home of Bassel Shehadeh in town of Urif demolished overnight, months after he allegedly helped plan assault at West Bank gas station and hummus restaurant that killed 4.

The Israeli Defense Forces demolished the West Bank home of an alleged Hamas
...a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
terrorist accused of being involved in a deadly shooting attack next to the settlement of Eli in June, a military spokesperson announced Wednesday.

Bassel Shehadeh has been indicted on suspicion of supplying the firearms used in a shooting attack carried out by two Hamas button men near Eli in June 2023, in which four Israelis were killed.

Overnight, troops entered the town of Urif, south of Nablus, and demolished Shehadeh’s home. The homes of the two button men have already been razed.

"The family was evacuated from the three-story building, then the second floor of the building was blown up," village council secretary Adel al-Amer told AFP.

In other overnight operations, troops detained seven wanted Paleostinians in the West Bank, according to the army spokesperson.

In August, the IDF indicted Shehadeh and another Paleostinian, Hamed Sabah, on charges of murder and other security offenses for allegedly supplying firearms and ammunition to Muhannad Faleh Shehadeh and Khaled Mustafa Sabah and coordinating attack plans with them, the indictment said. The trial is ongoing.

On June 20, Muhannad Faleh Shehadeh and Khaled Mustafa Sabah, also from Urif, stormed a gas station adjacent to Eli in the central West Bank, opening fire with a semi-automatic rifle at a hummus joint in the gas station.

The attack claimed the lives of three of the restaurant’s patrons: Nachman Mordoff and Elisha Anteman, both 17, and 21-year-old Harel Masood. Ofer Fayerman, 64, was also murdered while pumping gas. Four people were maimed.

One of the button men was shot and killed on the scene, and the other was killed in a shootout following an hours-long manhunt.

Preparations for the demolition of Shehadeh’s home began in September. The process of demolishing a terrorist’s home takes several months, during which the home is mapped out and the High Court addresses appeals by the family. Security forces often wait for an optimal time to enter Paleostinian cities or neighborhoods for the operation.

The attack in Eli set off a spate of Dire Revenge assaults by Jewish murderous Moslems, with hundreds of young Jewish men storming the nearby Paleostinian villages of Turmus Ayya, Umm Safa and Urif, setting fire to houses, vehicles, and fields, and firing live rounds at locals.

Israel’s home demolition policy has come under fire from human rights
...which are usually open to widely divergent definitions...
groups and foreign governments, even as some Israeli security chiefs have questioned its efficacy. After a 10-year lull in the policy’s execution, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reinstated it in 2014, following a terror attack in central Jerusalem.

At the time, Netanyahu’s decision was condemned by the US State Department, which said the home demolitions amount to collective punishment. In 2021, the Biden administration announced a push to convince Israel to end the policy, after strongly rebuking Israel for demolishing the home of an alleged Paleostinian-American terrorist.

broke out on October 7 after Hamas murderous Moslems staged a devastating assault on Israeli border communities, troops have arrested more than 2,700 wanted Paleostinians across the West Bank, including more than 1,300 affiliated with Hamas. According to the Paleostinian Authority health ministry, more than 300 West Bank Paleostinians have been killed in that time.

Military prosecutors file an indictment against two Paleostinians, Bassel Shehadeh and Hamed Sabah, for allegedly aiding in the planning of the deadly terror attack near the West Bank settlement of Eli in June in which four Israelis were killed.

According to the indictment, the pair allegedly supplied the weapons to the Hamas button men who carried out the attack, and themselves planned an additional attack.

Shehadeh and Sabah are accused of practicing shooting several times over the course of several months, and being in contact with terror elements in the Gaza Strip in order to finance their activities and to improve the planning of the attack.

The pair allegedly supplied firearms and ammunition to Muhannad Faleh Shehadeh and Khaled Mustafa Sabah — the Hamas murderous Moslems who carried out the Eli shooting — and coordinated the attack plans with them, the indictment says.

They were arrested by Israeli forces on June 21, before they managed to carry out an additional attack, the military says.

According to the charge sheet, Shehadeh and Sabah are indicted with four counts of intentionally causing death — the West Bank military court’s equivalent of murder — and several other security offenses.

They will be held until the end of legal proceedings.

Israel: Known anti-overhaul activist remanded for allegedly assaulting minister Silman
[IsraelTimes] A woman has been remanded in jug for allegedly assaulting Environmental Protection Minister Idit Silman earlier today at a shopping center in the central city of Rehovot.

Yarden Mann, a known activist in the anti-judicial overhaul protest movement, is suspected of threatening the Likud party minister and slapping her in the face, according to police.

The Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court has extended Mann’s remand for five days.

Police tell the court that Mann began to film the minister, teasing her and threatening to hurt her, citing footage and eyewitness testimony as evidence.

"The minister asked why she was speaking to her that way, and then [Mann] allegedly attacked her by knocking her cellphone out of her hand with which she was taking pictures of the suspect, and then slapped her in the face," police say.

Mann denies she attacked Silman, with her lawyer presenting CCTV footage showing them filming each other with no attack seen.

IDF carries out wave of strikes on Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon
[IsraelTimes] The IDF says it has carried out a wave of strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
The sites hit by fighter jets and artillery shelling in Yaroun include military buildings and other infrastructure used by the terror group, according to the IDF.

The IDF says it also hit areas in southern Lebanon to "remove threats."
