-Lurid Crime Tales-
Iranian-American Man Pleads Guilty to Texas School Bombing Plan
[Breitbart] A naturalized U.S. citizen born in Iran planned to blow up a school in Amarillo, Texas, federal authorities revealed this week. At the time of his arrest, the man had several explosive devices and a suicide vest in his possession.
The question is whether he is an Iranian agent, a generic Muslim jihadi, or just plain nuts.
This week, 33-year-old Erfan Salmanzadeh went before a U.S. district judge in Texas where he pleaded guilty to the use and the attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, the U.S. Attorney’s Office revealed. Salmanzadeh’s sentencing has been set for a later date and faces a possible life term in prison. Federal prosecutors revealed that while he was born in Iran, Erfan is a naturalized citizen.

The case began on July 26, 2021, when the Amarillo Police and Fire Departments responded to a house in connection to a loud explosion, a criminal complaint filed by the FBI revealed. Local police met with Salmanzadeh’s father at the house. When Erfan found out that police were at the house, he flushed down the toilet a gallon jar of homemade explosives in powder form. He also tried to dispose of other explosives, a nail bomb, a PVC bomb, and a suicide vest.
He’s thorough, at any rate
During questioning, Erfan told authorities that he manufactured the explosives by buying readily available chemicals and was testing mixtures by trying to blow up his Xbox video game console in the backyard.

According to plea agreement documents, Erfan recorded a video claiming that he wanted to blow up a local high school. Other videos obtained by authorities showed the man testing explosives. They also found journals with bomb-making instructions.

According to prosecutors, Erfan planned to fly to California on July 28, 2021, to avoid detection by law enforcement after a bombing.
According to CW Houston 39, the homemade powdered explosive was triacetone triperoxide, known around here as TATP or Mother of Satan because it happily goes kaboom without prompting. The wonder is that he didn’t blow up the toilet when he poured it down there, taking the rest of the house with it.

#4  According to PJ Media, the lad had been a student at the school in question:

“We are going to blast the school,” Salmanzadeh, a Tascosa High School graduate, declared. What did he mean by “we”? The police have not said anything about that, and there is no hint in the available reports as to who his accomplices were, or if he even really had any.

#5  tw, maybe his pronouns are "they", so he always refers to himself in the plural.
Or maybe he has multiple personality disorder.
Or he refers to himself using the royal we.
Lots of possibilities.

Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief December 10, 2022
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • RESISTANCE RAID IN KAPISA PROMPTS ARRESTS OF NON-COMBATANTS – Approximately 30 people were arrested in the wake of an NRF raid on a house occupied by Taliban fighters reportedly killed 4 and wounded 5. The local Taliban launched a sweep in the villages of Kalalan and Kuche Sanglakh and eyewitnesses say they took the non-combatants away for interrogation.

  • ROCKET WARHEAD EXPLODES IN FARAH, KILLS 5 – The blast occurred in a home in the village of Noi Kariz. Police say the family had stowed a ‘rocket warhead’ inside their home and it was not clear what set the unexploded ordinance off. 5 members of the family were killed and 2 others are injured. Deaths from unexploded ordinances left behind from the war continue to take a toll on non-combatants in Afghanistan. Children are particularly vulnerable as they often play with the munitions. While unofficial, it is believed that roughly 75% of the deaths and injuries from unexploded ordinance harm those 14 and below. While some clean-up attempts have been made over the years, the sheer numbers of discarded munitions suggest that many will continue to lose their lives over the next decade.

  • HIZB-E-ISLAMI LEADER GULUDDIN HEKMATYAR TELLS SUPPORTERS TO BE READY FOR A FIGHT – In a speech to supporters on Friday, the warlord gave more details about the attack that took place near his political party’s headquarters. He said the two attackers were Tajik nationals but were carrying an ISIS flag. He opined the flag was meant to misdirect investigators and he wasn’t sure who exactly was behind the attack. He urged his supporters to remain ready for a possible armed clash.

33 ISIS wives are SLAUGHTERED by terror group rivals Boko Haram to 'avenge' a commander killed in Islamic State attack
[DM] Muslim Unity Fever™ - Catch it!
Islamist militant group Boko Haram has reportedly slain at least 33 wives of fighters in a bloody revenge attack as fighting between the rival groups continues to escalate.

The massacre is thought to have been instigated earlier this week by top Boko Haram leader Ali Ngulde, who after ambushing a group of Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in northeastern 's Sambisa forest sent his troops to a nearby camp to execute their wives.

It comes after Boko Haram commander Malam Aboubakar and more than a dozen other militants were killed by ISWAP fighters following failed negotiations, according to , a security analyst based in Lake Chad.

ISWAP fighters were once part of Boko Haram but splintered off and quickly grew into a formidable rival of the Islamic militants by enticing other Boko Haram members into defecting while drumming up support in local civilian populations.

A Reuters investigation earlier this week also revealed that the Nigerian army has run a secret, systematic and illegal abortion program, terminating at least 10,000 pregnancies among women and girls who were kidnapped and raped by the Islamist militants.

ISWAP was able to cultivate its strength by forging a favourable relationship with civilian populations around Lake Chad and northeastern Nigeria.

The group treats local populations with more mercy and allows for them to develop businesses and trade while seeking to improve local services.

Boko Haram meanwhile continues to live up to its ruthless reputation.

Last month, the jihadists slaughtered at least 26 women by slitting their throats after a commander accused them of being witches who caused the sudden death of his children.

The senseless massacre, which began on Thursday November 10 and continued on Saturday 12, came on the orders of Boko Haram commander Ali Guyile, according to relatives and a woman who escaped.

Talkwe Linbe, one of the accused women, said she managed to escape and fled to the regional capital Maiduguri.

'He (Guyile) said he would investigate our involvement in the deaths of his children,' she said.

'On Thursday he ordered 14 among us to be slaughtered. I was lucky I was not among them.'

On Saturday, the day Linbe arrived in Maiduguri, 12 more women were slaughtered accused of being witches, other relatives said, taking the death toll to 26.

'I received a call from Gwoza that my mother, two aunts and nine other women were slaughtered yesterday (Saturday) on the orders of Ali Guyile who accused them of being witches,' Abdullahi Gyya, who lives in Maiduguri, told AFP.

Government Corruption
Investigation: Taxpayer-Funded NGOs Sending Tens of Thousands of Illegal Aliens to All 50 States for Biden's DHS
[Breitbart] A newly released investigation reveals the extent to which American taxpayer-funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are sending tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens to towns across all 50 states.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project obtained data showing about 30,000 unique mobile devices at 35 NGO centers and one Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility stationed along the United States-Mexico border.

Ultimately, the investigation “confirmed that a host of NGOs are actively facilitating” large scale illegal immigration into the U.S. interior as CBP transfers border crossers and illegal aliens en masse to NGOs, funded by taxpayers, which then provide transportation services so arrivals can be sent to all 50 states.

“Devices that were at these NGO facilities later appeared in all but one congressional district in the United States,” the investigation states:

The investigation confirms that Biden border crisis affects all of America and that NGOs are playing a central role in the mass resettlement of illegal aliens in the United States. Worse, this flow of illegal immigration helps enable cartels to bring terrorists, criminals, and deadly drugs like fentanyl into the United States. [Emphasis added]

Across multiple phases of the investigation, the Oversight Project discovered tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens who had started at NGO centers before traveling to all but one congressional district throughout the U.S.

Border crossers and illegal aliens traveling from the border into the U.S. interior can be seen in geofencing charts issued by the Oversight Project:
Maps can be seen at the link.
More than other administrations, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has enlisted NGOs to take on the role of sheltering border crossers and illegal aliens at the border before transporting them into the U.S. interior via domestic commercial flights and buses.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
3 years jail for Iran leader Khamenei’s niece, who panned him and ‘murderous’ regime
[IsraelTimes] Farideh Moradkhani, from a branch of family that opposes supreme leader, has been in prison since last month when she declared her support for Mahsa Amini protests.

The niece of Iran’s Lord High Potentate and Supreme Leader of All He Surveys Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
was sentenced to three years in prison after she publicly criticized the regime and expressed her support for the ongoing protests against the Islamic Theocratic Republic, her lawyer said on Friday.

Farideh Moradkhani, who is part of a branch of Khamenei’s family that has long criticized the regime, was picked up by police on November 23 and has been held since.

Her lawyer Mohammad Hossein Aghasi tweeted that she was tried in a holy manal court independent of the country’s judiciary and that only answers to the supreme leader, even though Moradkhani is not a holy man.

Aghasi said he was barred from attending the hearing where his client was initially sentenced to 15 years behind bars. The court did accept his appeal though and shortened her sentence to three years, he said.

Earlier this week, Badri Hosseini Khamenei — Moradkhani’s mother and a sister of the supreme leader — also declared her opposition to her brother’s regime and her solidarity with the protests that have swept the country following the killing of Mahsa Amini in Iranian police custody. In a letter publicized by her son based in La Belle France, Badri said she had cut off ties with her brother and called on him to step down. Badri is believed to still reside in Iran.

In her own video published online last month, Moradkhani blasts authorities led by her uncle as a "murderous and child-killing regime."

Her brother posted a video on YouTube, with the link shared on Twitter, in which she condemned the "clear and obvious oppression" Iranians have been subjected to, and criticized the international community’s inaction.

"Free people, be with us! Tell your governments to stop supporting this murderous and child-killing regime," she said. "This regime is not loyal to any of its religious principles and does not know any law or rule except force and maintaining its power in any way possible."

Khamenei’s sister Badri fell out with her family in the 1980s and fled to Iraq at the peak of the war with Iran’s neighbor. She joined her husband, the dissident holy man Ali Tehrani.

Moradkhani has gained prominence as an anti-death penalty
activist muppet and was last arrested in January this year.

That arrest came after an October 2021 video conference in which she lavishly praised Farah Diba, the widow of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was ousted by the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) said she was released on bail in April and her arrest last Wednesday was to begin serving an existing 15-year sentence.

The charges were not immediately clear.

According to the United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
High Commissioner for Human Rights, around 14,000 people have been arrested over the protests that began after the death of Mahsa Amini following her arrest by the so-called morality police.

At least 416 people including 51 children have been killed in the crackdown, according to Norway-based Iran
...They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
Human Rights (IHR).

Stephanie Saliba arrested over Riad Salameh's case
[An Nahar] Lebanese actress Stephanie Saliba, who has links to Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh, was arrested on Friday, a judicial official and the state-run National News Agency said.

The development is the latest in the controversy surrounding Salameh, who is being investigated for corruption as an economic meltdown and financial collapse convulse the tiny nation.

According to the National News Agency, a judge, acting on a request by Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim, ordered that Saliba be placed in jug after she showed up earlier in the day at the prosecutor’s office in Beirut for questioning. The report gave no reason for her arrest.

A judicial official said investigative Judge Iman Abdallah questioned Saliba over "illicit enrichment and money laundering."

Another judicial source meanwhile told Agence La Belle France Presse that Saliba "is currently detained pending investigation following orders from the financial prosecutor."

Saliba arrived in Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
on Wednesday after taking part in a film festival in the Saudi city of Jeddah and was detained after previously failing to appear for questioning, the judicial source added.

Salameh is being investigated in several European nations, including Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
, La Belle France, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein, for potential money laundering and embezzlement. He has repeatedly denied corruption charges.

Reports in Lebanese media say the governor gave Saliba expensive gifts. But a second judicial source with knowledge of the Salameh probe said there was no proof the central bank chief had directly transferred any money to Saliba.

"The gifts she received from Salameh, whether it was a house or jewelry, do not amount to money laundering," the source added.

Earlier this week, Mount Lebanon Prosecutor Judge Ghada Aoun, who has been investigating Salameh, issued a search warrant for Saliba's home as part of her investigation of the governor.

Aoun refused to comment on the case when contacted by The News Agency that Dare Not be Named on Friday, saying only: "I did not issue the arrest warrant. I know nothing."

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati had on Thursday denied a media report claiming that he had mediated with security agencies to prevent Saliba’s arrest at the Rafik Hariri International Airport.

The daily had reported that Judge Aoun had circulated the search warrant to security agencies and that "political interferences at a high level, especially by caretaker PM Najib Mikati, prevented Saliba’s arrest upon her arrival... to Beirut’s airport."

Since 2019, Lebanon has been in the grips of the worst economic and financial crisis in its modern history, rooted in decades of corruption and mismanagement by the country's political class.

Many hold the 72-year-old Salameh responsible for the crisis, citing policies that drove up national debt and caused the Lebanese pound to lose 90% of its value against the dollar. The Central Bank governor, who has held the post for the past three decades, still enjoys the backing of top politicians.
