[ToloNews] Some residents of the central province of Panjshir called on the Islamic Emirate to assess the cases of their relatives in jug in a fair way.
The residents said that some of their relatives have been detained in Kabul.
"Their crime is not clear for us. No one tells us what crime they committed. We went to the governor, to the council of Ulema. No one told us what they are accused of," said Mohammad Omar, a relative of a detainee.
"My mom is worried. My father went out to look for them. A letter from the intelligence department arrived to say that this person is innocent," said Mirza Shah, a relative of a detainee.
This comes as the Kabul governor’s office said that a committee comprised of six officials has been formed to investigate the cases of the detainees. The committee was formed after some residents of Panjshir met with the Kabul governor.
"Those residents of Panjshir who are living in Kabul and are currently in jail, and who are innocent and committed few crimes, their cases have been sent to the Prime Minister's Office. A decision will be made about their release," said Ziaullah Hashimi, a front man for the Kabul governor’s office.
This comes as the UN Assistant Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) also called for an investigation into the detentions in Panjshir.

Khawarij is another word for Kharijites or taqfiris, who kill Muslims whose beliefs are not pure by the taqfiris’ definition. It’s a nasty name thrown around by a number of different parties — in Afghanistan both the Taliban and ISIS-K use it to describe the other.
GERMANY TO EXPAND AFGHAN RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM – The German Foreign Ministry announced plans to begin resettling up to 1,000 at-risk Afghans per month in an expansion of a program they announced earlier in the year. Apparently, the government has only recently allocated the funding needed to ramp things up. Those at-risk Afghans with paths to Germany are advised to reach out and make contact as soon as possible (SEE STORY BELOW).
ISIS-K MEDIA CHIEF ARRESTED IN KABUL – The Taliban have announced the arrest of Mohammad Javad who, the Taliban says is the head of ISIS-K’s propaganda arm in Afghanistan. GDI agents say he was arrested without incident yesterday and all of his electronic devices were seized intact. It is not clear what role Mr. Javad has played but the Taliban has previously arrested dissidents and/or former members of the previous regime using claims of affiliation with the terror group.
CENTRAL BANK WARNS DEBTORS – Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) announced that outstanding debts were being reviewed and the bank will resort to the seizure of property if the debts are not paid. Bank officials explicitly targeted former high-ranking members of the previous regime. Sources in the financial sector see the announcement as an excuse to appropriate property that will be redistributed to Taliban officials. One source stated that bank records are being manipulated to increase debt balances on loan paperwork.
HAQQANI OUT AT MINISTRY OF EDUCATION – Rumors are circulating that the acting Minister of Higher Education, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, has been relieved of his position and a new appointment has been made. Sheikh Nada Mohammad Nandim (former Governor of Kabul) has been named the new Minister. While the new purported Minister’s intentions for the program are unknown, it is believed that many senior Taliban leaders were unhappy with Haqqani’s approach to the education crisis in the country.
CONFLICT TRACKER Parwan: A Talib security detail attempted to arrest a suspected NRF fighter in Jabal-al-Saraj district. Two Talibs were reported killed and one injured. The suspected NRF man escaped. Badakhshan: Six separate engagements between the Taliban and the NRF were reported across the province in the past 24 hours. Three of the clashes were said to involve several hundred combatants. Casualties have once again been reported but an accurate tally is not available. Some of the casualties are said to be non-combatants caught in the crossfire.

GOVERNMENT PURGE – Remarks made by the Minister of the Interior at a commencement ceremony for graduates of a University in Khost give credence to rumors that a purge of government officials is likely. He stated that too many unqualified people had been given posts in the de facto regime and most were rewarded with positions due to their participation in the jihad against the previous regime. He said these appointments have created a gap between the people and the Taliban and questioned their ability to manage governmental affairs. Criticism about the practice has been consistent from the international community and political observers have offered the opinion that the IEA is fast becoming a religious kleptocracy. It is not clear when the purges will begin but the fact the comments were made in an open forum has likely put those in governmental roles on a hot seat.

The sources indicated that the return of Al Khaja comes within Emirati arrangements to install him as a military ruler of Socotra, to succeed al-Anoud Ahmed al-Saadi, who was recently appointed as a replacement for Khalfan al-Mazari.
Al Khaja is the father of the Emirati ambassador to the Zionist entity, Mohammad Al Khaja. His return to Socotra at this particular time reflects the entity’s efforts to expand its control over the strategic island, in light of the escalation of Israeli moves in the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

Leyla Guven, a former outspoken HDP parliamentarian, was sentenced to 11 years and 7 months in prison after being tried by a court in the Kurdish city of Diyarbakir (Amed) for her suspected ties to the PKK, Turkey’s state-owned Anadolu Agency reported.
The HDP condemned her sentencing and labeled it as the "latest step" of a "Dire Revenge campaign" by President Recep Tayyip Erodogan’s ruling Justice and Development (AKP) party.
Guven, who was a representative for Hakkari province, was sentenced to six years and three months in September 2020, after being accused of affiliating with the Kurdish Communities Union (KCK), an umbrella group of a number of parties, including the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). The court’s decision came after the politician already served time in prison, which she says was for the KCK case, the proceedings of which began in 2009.
The PKK is a Kurdish gang fighting for the increased political and cultural rights of Kurds in Turkey and designated a terrorist organization by Ankara, who has launched repeated operations both domestic and southward across the border to target the group.
Ottoman Turkish officials claim that the HDP is the political arm of the PKK but the pro-Kurdish party has repeatedly denied the claims.
Thousands of HDP members have been arrested in recent years for terror-related charges, including former co-chairs Selahattin Demirtas and Figen Yuksekdag, as well as dozens of mayors.
Turkey in early October launched a fresh air and ground military operation seeking to remove PKK forces from rural areas of the country.

[OneIndia] The Madhya Pradesh police have started the paperwork but haven't done much else against a man named Mohammad Akram who had impersonated as a Hindu and lured a woman before raping her at a hotel.
The incident took place in Bhopal city, Madhya Pradesh. The accused called himself as Amar Kushwaha and developed friendship with the victim. After getting to know for over a month, he took her to a hotel and allegedly raped her.
It is also alleged that he coerced her into converting to Islam and threatened to kill her. The Hindu woman is a mother of two children and resides at the Ashok Garden locality.
Based on the complaint by the Hindu woman, Akram was booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Madhya Pradesh Freedom of Religious Act 2020.
"The complainant girl told that she has been talking to a young man on call for a month, who introduced himself as Amar Kushwaha, who took her to the hotel today and raped her", Madhya Pradesh Nagar Police Station In-charge Sudhir Arjariya told news agency ANI.

It's an inane term, very Indian, for the moslem population seducing non-moslems, women mostly, and converting them after eloping with them. While the phenomenon is known to occur, and it is encouraged by the jamaats as a viable form of jihad, the hindoos have become especially paranoid about it.

[IsraelTimes] Clashes erupt as officers detain relatives and acquaintances of Udai Tamimi, accused of killing Sgt. Noa Lazar in shooting attack in Shuafat earlier this month.
Eight Paleostinians suspected of aiding a gunman who allegedly killed an Israeli soldier at a checkpoint near Jerusalem earlier this month were arrested by Israeli security forces in the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday.
Sgt. Noa Lazar, 18, a member of the Military Police’s Erez battalion, was shot on October 8 along with a civilian guard when the gunman shot up a checkpoint near the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem. The guard was hospitalized at death's door. Lazar was rushed to the hospital but died of her wounds shortly after.
The suspected shooter, 22-year-old Udai Tamimi, managed to flee the scene. ... as though they had never been... into the camp, where he is thought to likely still be hiding.
Police said the eight suspects, residents of the Shuafat refugee camp and the nearby West Bank town of Anata, were relatives and acquaintances of Tamimi.
A Border Police front man said that during the searches overnight, weapon parts and military vests were seized.
The front man added that Paleostinians hurled Molotov cocktails and stones at officers, who responded with riot dispersal means. There were no immediate reports of Paleostinian injuries.
Police said no officers were hurt in the incidents.
Security forces have been searching for Tamimi since the attack, in which the gunman casually emerged from the passenger side of a white vehicle stopped at a checkpoint near Shuafat, walked up to a group of soldiers and opened fire from nearly point-blank range.
Several more suspects were arrested in the Shuafat area in the days following the shooting.
The heavy police activity in Shuafat led to days of rioting in the refugee camp and other Paleostinian neighborhoods in East Jerusalem. Unrest in the capital appeared to lower to a simmer over the past few days.

Russia has been the main backer of Assad’s regime since the breakout of an uprising and civil war in the country in 2011.
Daraa province, where the Syrian revolution in 2011 originated, has been under regime control since 2018, but some areas still remain under the influence of rebel groups.
