Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson quietly signs $26 MILLION contract with security firm to build migrant camps
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson has quietly signed a $29million contract with a security firm to build migrant base camps, as residents plead with the city's democratic leaders to stop letting asylum seekers in the state.
A good place to quietly put the regular homeless as well, one imagines.
The city's deal with the controversial Garda World firm, signed last week, includes at least six locations across the city, with zones holding between 200 and 1,400 asylum seekers. It also includes bedding, laundry, showers, three meals a day and security.

It comes as Chicago residents are becoming increasingly concerned about a surge of asylum seekers arriving on buses from southern states. Many of the migrants have been transported north from Republican border states in a bid to prove the Democrats' open arms policies are a disaster.

'I want to know if there is a capacity limit and what is that limit if there is one?' one city resident asked at a community event this week. 'And why can't we close the borders of Chicago or the state of Illinois in the first place? Why can't we close the border?'

Chicago has seen 13,000 migrants arrive in the city since August 2022, and the surge is expected to cost taxpayers $302 million by the end of the year.

#2  No matter how you look at it.

Whether its $26 or $29 Million, of the Taxpayers money. It boils down to the Liberals, Socialist, Democrat Party & White House controllers Open Borders Agenda.

Because, when you do the math, the $320M projected total 2023 US Taxpayer Chicago alone costs, works out to around $24,600+ for each Chicago placed Illegal alien. Now Imagine that $24k instead applied to US Citizen families in need?

So, where are the usual vocal area, run to the camera, Community Leaders / Activists?

Why aren't they demanding the LSD's secure the borders and take care of American's FIRST?

Seriously.
There are 100 ways to have better used the $$$M. When you have Chicago Areas like: Austin, Englewood, Garfield Park, Grand Crossing, and Chatham with over 100 murders and 700 attempted murders (shootings), so far this year ?

-Short Attention Span Theater-
U.S. Census Bureau: 3.5 million reported Middle Eastern and North African descent in 2020
[Shafaq News] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the United States is home to a population of approximately 3.5 million residents who identify as Middle Eastern or North African (MENA).

Lebanese, Iranian, and Egyptian populations collectively accounted for nearly half of the 3.5 million individuals reporting MENA descent. This classification by the Census Bureau includes a wide range of groups, both Arabic-speaking and non-Arabic-speaking, such as Iranians, Egyptians, Jordanians, as well as ethnic and transnational groups like Assyrians and Kurds.

In 2020, over 3.5 million people identified as MENA alone or in combination with another group, representing approximately 1.5% of the White alone or in combination population. Among this population, more than 2.5 million people identified as MENA alone, making up about 1.2% of the White alone population.

The three largest MENA groups were:

• Lebanese: The largest MENA group, constituting nearly 20% of the MENA alone or in any combination population, with 685,672 people. Lebanese individuals also comprised the second-largest MENA alone group, accounting for 12.9% of the MENA alone population, or 328,137 people.

• Iranian: The largest MENA alone group, with 413,842 people, and the second-largest MENA alone or in any combination group, totaling 568,564 people, which represented over 16% of both the MENA alone and alone or in any combination populations.

• Egyptian: Egyptian individuals constituted the third-largest MENA group, with over 12% of the MENA alone population identifying as Egyptian alone, and 11.3% of the MENA alone or in any combination population identifying as Egyptian alone or in any combination.

Other MENA groups, including "Other Middle Eastern and North African," Arab, Syrian, Iraqi, Israeli, Paleostinian, Moroccan, and Jordanian, also had significant populations exceeding 100,000 individuals.

Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, Michigan, and New York were the states with the largest MENA populations, each having over 300,000 people reporting MENA alone or in any combination. California notably had the highest number of individuals identifying as MENA alone or in any combination, with 740,219 people, double the count of any other state.

Lebanese and Egyptian groups consistently ranked among the top three largest detailed alone or in any combination groups in states with significant MENA populations, with Paleostinian, Chaldean, Iraqi, Assyrian, Syrian, Arab, and Moroccan groups also appearing in various states' top three groups.

Notably, the 2020 Census, delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of new confidentiality methods, provided the most detailed race and ethnicity data to date. It included counts for approximately 1,550 racial, ethnic, and tribal groups, offering comprehensive insights into the nation's evolving demographic landscape.

Kenya to deploy special forces to troubled northern, near Somalia border
[ShabelleMedia] The Kenyan government plans to deploy special forces and elite units to the country’s northern and upper coastal regions to tame the threat of terrorism following an increase in terror attacks in the regions, which left tens of people dead.

Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Kithure Kindiki, announced the decision on Wednesday just hours after one person was killed, and several homes were burned to ashes after suspected al-Shabaab
...... the personification of Somali state failure...
bully boyz raided a village in Lamu County.

The region has been the target of sustained attacks by bully boyz believed to be affiliated to the Somalia-based terror group.

"To effectively deal with the threat of terrorism and violent mostly peaceful extremism, the Government is deploying in Northern Kenya and Upper Coastal regions, including Tana River and Lamu Counties, special forces and elite units to ruthlessly pursue and neutralize armed criminals who are terrorizing innocent citizens," Kindiki said.

Last week, an unknown number of Kenya Defence Forces soldiers were killed after a vehicle they were traveling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) in Lamu.

The military has deployed officers to counter the al-Shabaab menace in the region which nears Kenya’s border with Somalia.

On Monday, other soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash.

"We salute and pay homage to our multi-agency security officers who have fallen in the line of duty, defending our nation and its people from criminals," Kindiki said in his Wednesday address.

A multi-agency security operation is also underway in Kenya’s northern region which is troubled by banditry.

Niger: Bazoum wants regional court to reinstate him as President
[AFRICANEWS] The deposed president of Niger, Mohammed Bazoum, has decided to take his case to the West African justice system to obtain his release and the restoration of constitutional order in the country, almost two months after a coup d'état carried out by soldiers who overthrew him and are still holding him captive.

"We ask (...) in view of the violation of political rights, that the State of Niger be condemned to the immediate restoration of constitutional order by handing over power to President Bazoum, who must continue to exercise it until the end of his mandate on April 2, 2026", his Senegal

ese lawyer, Maître Seydou Diagne, told AFP on Wednesday.

The petition filed with the Court of Justice of the Economic Community of West African States (Ecowas) on September 18 alleges "arbitrary arrest" and "violation of the freedom of movement" of President Mohammed Bazoum, his wife Haziza and son Salem, detained with him at the presidential palace since the coup d'état on July 26.

According to Maître Diagne, his "clients are victims of serious and intolerable human rights

violations. They have the right to take their case to the competent courts. This can't aggravate their situation, it's a reason to hope that justice will be done.

In the event of a favorable decision, "the State of Niger has(ura) the legal obligation to execute the decision", he assured.

"What we're interested in is getting the State of Niger condemned by a court decision. Mr. Bazoum's fight is a fight through the law", he stressed.

Maître Seydou Diagne also asserted that "General (Abdourahamane) Tiani (head of the military regime, editor's note) is not empowered by Nigerien law to make arrests. He has been appointed by decree since 2011 to ensure the President's security".

The organization's Court of Justice is the main jurisdiction of Ecowas, made up of 5 judges chosen from among the nationals of member states.

In mid-August, the coup plotters announced their intention to "prosecute" Mohammed Bazoum for "high treason" and "undermining the security" of the country.

Africa Subsaharan
DR Congo calls for swift withdrawal of UN peacekeepers
[AFRICANEWS] The president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
...formerly the Congo Free State, Belgian Congo, Zaire, and who knows what else, not to be confused with the Brazzaville Congo aka Republic of Congo, which is much smaller and much more (for Africa) stable. DRC gave the world Patrice Lumumba and Joseph Mobutu, followed by years of tedious civil war. Its principle industry seems to be the production of corpses. With a population of about 74 million it has lots of raw material...
on Wednesday called for a speedy withdrawal of a key UN peacekeeping mission that has been in the nation for nearly 25 years.

"It is time for our country to take full control of its destiny and become the main actor in its own stability," Felix Tshisekedi told the United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
General Assembly.

The final departure of the MONUSCO mission has been at the heart of debates on the DRC's future for years, and a source of tension and populist rhetoric in the central African nation.

Tshisekedi said that the mission of some 15,000 peacekeepers "has not succeeded in confronting the rebellions and armed conflicts... nor in protecting the civilian populations."

In 2020, the Security Council approved a plan for a phased withdrawal in DR Congo, setting parameters for transferring the responsibilities of UN troops to Congolese forces.

While the plan under discussion was to begin withdrawal in December 2024, DR Congo in September asked the Security Council to start the process in December this year, when Tshisekedi is running for re-election.

Tshisekedi said at the UN it was "illusory and counterproductive to continue to cling to the maintenance of MONUSCO to restore peace."

The United States warned at a Security Council meeting in June against a hasty withdrawal of the mission, assessing that the country was not ready to part with the Blue Helmets at the end of 2023.

The discussions come as the United Nations has faced a series of attacks and demonstrations against the mission in the country.

Nearly 50 people were killed in a crackdown on an anti-UN protest in eastern DR Congo in August.

"The acceleration of the withdrawal of MONUSCO becomes absolutely necessary to ease tensions," said Tshisekedi.

The DRC's east has been ravaged by militia violence for three decades, a legacy of regional wars that flared in the 1990s and 2000s.

The UN peacekeeping mission in the region, in place since 1999, is one of the largest and costliest in the world, with an annual budget of about $1 billion.

But the UN comes in for sharp criticism in the DRC where many people perceive the peacekeepers as failing to prevent conflict.

France refuses to welcome migrants from Lampedusa, Interior Minister confirms
[Shafaq News] French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin announced that La Belle France will not accept any migrants colonists arriving from Italia's Lampedusa. This decision comes in response to a significant influx of migrants colonists on the Mediterranean island, with over 8,500 people arriving on 199 boats between Monday and Wednesday of the previous week, according to the UN's International Organization for Migration.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited Lampedusa on Sunday to announce an emergency action plan following the arrival surge.

Minister Darmanin stated that La Belle France had informed Italia of its readiness to assist in repatriating individuals to countries where La Belle France maintains good diplomatic relations, citing Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal
... a nation of about 14 million on the west coast of Africa bordering Mauretania to the north, Mali to the east, and a pair of Guineas to the south, one of them Bissau. It is 90 percent Mohammedan and has more than 80 political parties. Its primary purpose seems to be absorbing refugees...
as examples. However,
a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth...
he clarified that La Belle France would not accept migrants colonists from Lampedusa.

Speaking on French television, Darmanin addressed the issue of asylum seekers, emphasizing the need to distinguish their situation from that of most migrants colonists. He stated that European countries, including La Belle France, had a duty to welcome those eligible for asylum, especially those fleeing persecution based on sexual, political, or religious grounds.

Nevertheless, Darmanin downplayed the presence of asylum seekers among the Lampedusa migrants colonists, asserting that the majority were not escaping persecution. He emphasized that they were not of Afghan or Syrian origin.

In addition to this decision, Minister Darmanin announced plans to "strengthen" border controls at the French-Italian border. The number of police and gendarmerie personnel assigned to this task will increase from 500 to 700.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has called on Italia's EU partners to share more responsibility, as the recent arrivals on Lampedusa now equal the entire population of the tiny Italian island.

The surge in migration has reignited the immigration debate in La Belle France, where political parties are embroiled in discussions over a draft law governing new arrivals.

Later this week, La Belle France is anticipated to hear a call from Pope Francis
...Argentine liberation theologist, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio. He was elected pope in 2013. Rather than setting up shop in Avignon, where he belongs, the first Jesuit Pope chose to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse instead of the papal apartments. He is big on climate change, against consumerism, and in favor of throwing a blanket over homosexual activity within the clergy. He's not real sure about the Resurrection, about Christ's divinity, and a few other things that would have gotten him burned at the stake a few hundred years ago, but he's hot for a certain South American Earth Mother Goddess...
for greater tolerance towards migrants colonists during his high-profile visit to the Mediterranean city of Marseille. During his visit, the Pope will meet with President Emmanuel Macron and conduct a mass event attended by tens of thousands in a stadium.

German political parties urge suspension of Afghan citizens’ acceptance program
[KhaamaPress] The Christian Democratic Union of Germany and the Christian Social Union of Bavaria, the largest opposition parties in the Federal Parliament of Germany, have called for a halt to accepting Afghan refugees into the country.

According to reports, this proposal has reached the French news agency. It is set to be presented in the Federal Parliament of Germany on Friday to reduce immigration.

The proposal suggests that the refugee acceptance program for other Afghans should be stopped except for those who have worked with Germans.

Last year, the Afghan refugee acceptance program was announced to transfer 1,000 people monthly. However,
if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...
according to the government’s response to the parliamentary faction of the Left Party, it has yet to be transferred to Germany.

Meanwhile,

member countries.

Previously, members of the Free Democrats of Germany, the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, and the Christian Social Union of Bavaria in the country’s parliament had also called for the expulsion of Afghan refugees.

Earlier this week, the Australian government officially rejected asylum to 50,000 Afghan citizens who sought humanitarian visas following the resurgence of the Taliban

regime in August 2021.

In its latest report on Tuesday, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) revealed that out of 208,000 asylum requests made by Afghan citizens since the start of 2021, approximately 50,000 applicants have been rejected by the Australian government.

After the fall of Kabul in August 2021, approximately 208,000 Afghans sought humanitarian and refugee visas in Australia.

Regrettably, Australia has denied over 50,000 visa applications based on humanitarian grounds, while 144,000 applications remain pending.

Government Corruption
Former federal employee charged with espionage
[10News] Prosecutors said Abraham Teklu Lemma provided Ethiopia with top-secret information while he was working for the U.S. State Department.

The Department of Justice filed espionage charges against Abraham Teklu Lemma, a former federal contractor who prosecutors alleged provided Ethiopia with top secret U.S. documents while working for the State Department.

According to an affidavit unsealed on Thursday, Lemma is a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Ethiopia. He had worked for various U.S. agencies since 2019, the affidavit said.

He was most recently employed as a help desk technician within the Bureau of Intelligence and Research with the U.S. Department of State. Prosecutors said Lemma had access to non-State Department classified documents as he worked in a secure facility.

Prosecutors allege that Lemma copied and pasted at least 85 intelligence reports, most of which involved Ethiopia. He allegedly provided Ethiopia's government with some of these documents.

Prosecutors said Lemma did not have a need to access the intelligence reports.

The DOJ also said that Lemma deposited large sums of money correlating with trips to Ethiopia, totaling $55,000.

"With the intent to and reason to believe it would be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of (Ethiopia), Lemma obtained documents, photographs, notes, maps, and information related to the national defense, and willfully communicated, delivered, and transmitted that National Defense Information to a representative, officer, agent, employee, subject, or citizen of (Ethiopia), in violation of (the law)," the DOJ said in its filing.

Lemma faces two charges related to espionage and one charge of having unauthorized possession of classified materials.

India-Pakistan
Pak Purge: Islamabad court summons Imran Khan in 'un-Islamic nikah' case
[GEO.TV] A district and sessions court in Islamabad issued a summon of Pakistain Tehrik-e-Insaf
...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations....
(PTI) Chairman Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality disorders...
for September 25 in an "unIslamic nikah" case with his third wife Bushra Bibi.

Civil judge Qudratullah has asked the court staff to issue the summon to present the PTI chief in court to the Attock jail superintendent.

The former prime minister was arrested from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore on August 5 after being convicted in the Toshakhana case with accusations of misusing his 2018 to 2022 premiership to buy and sell gifts in state possession that were received during visits abroad and worth more than Rs140 million ($635,000).

Since his arrest, he was shifted to the Attock jail.

While the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had overturned a lower court's decision to jail him, he remains behind bars due to his arrest in the cipher case.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officially arrested the ousted premier — who was removed from power via a parliamentary vote in April last year — and Shah Mehmood Wormtongue Qureshi
...a Pak political shape-changer. He is undistinguished except for his habit of periodically needing to have his lips reattached...
in the cipher case last month after booking them under the Official Secrets Act.

Qureshi was taken into custody from his residence in Islamabad in the same case on August 19 while Khan was arrested in the cipher case while he was serving the sentence in Attock jail.

IMRAN-BUSHRA MARRIAGE CASE
In May of this year, a district and sessions court in Islamabad rejected the plea challenging the nikah (marriage) of Imran Khan with Bushra Bibi.

The application, according to the court, was "inadmissible" and fell outside its jurisdiction but, in July another Islamabad court dismissed the civil court's verdict.

Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Islamabad Muhammad Azam Khan, back then, had remanded the case to a civil judge.

The petitioner, Muhammad Hanif, had claimed that Bushra Bibi was divorced by her former husband in November 2017 and married Khan on January 1, 2018, despite the fact that her Iddat period had not ended, "which is against the Sharia and Moslem norms."

The complainant submitted in the court the statements of Mufti Muhammad Saeed — who conducted the marriage between Imran and Bushra, and Awn Chaudhry — Imran's close friend — one of the witnesses at the wedding.

Saeed, who solemnised the couple's Nikah, had said that the PTI chief married Bushra Bibi during the latter's iddat (the time a woman goes into isolation after her husband dies or divorces her), despite knowing everything.

In his statement to a lower court, Saeed said he had solemnised Khan's Nikah with Bushra Bibi on January 1, 2018, over the assurance of a woman claiming to be the former first lady's sister.

"Then the former premier contacted me again in February 2018 and requested me to solemnise his Nikah with Bushra Bibi again as the first time it was against the Shariah," Saeed stated before the court.

He said that the first time when the Nikah was solemnised, Bushra Bibi's Iddat hadn't ended.

He quoted Khan as saying that Bushra Bibi had been divorced on November 2017 and that there was a "prediction" that the PTI chairman would become the prime minister of Pakistain if he married Bushra Bibi.

Mufti Saeed added that the first Nikah was illegal, which had been solemnised based on the "prediction".
