The blunt response to Biden's bid to reclassify marijuana: Joe accused of yet another 2024 election ploy to get votes with move that will make America 'more lethargic and dumber'
2024-05-02
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] President Joe Biden has been accused of yet another election year ploy to appeal to younger voters with his historic move to reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug.
And also those Baby Boomers nostalgic for the follies of their youth.
It would not legalize the drug nationally, but instead change legal restrictions surrounding its use and study.

Critics say his campaign is 'grasping at straws' to find new ways to reverse his declining youth support and believe it could increase drug use across the country.

Biden has already forgiven more than $160 billion in student loans, after wiping $6 billion more for 317,000 students who went to art school.

Republican strategist Curt Anderson told DailyMail.com: 'Legalizing drugs makes America more lethargic and dumber, which obviously helps the Biden campaign.'

Democrats meanwhile have said the move is a long time coming and follows on from Biden pardoning all minor federal marijuana convictions.

#6  Mike,

I saw a documentary about 10 years ago about the potency kicking off an explosion of schizophrenia cases in Australia.

#5  Scythians cultivated chronic buds - they have found smoking buds in their tombs, it was not hemp. One Scythian Prince is thought to maybe be the first pot dealer.

Holland has been cultivating MJ for how long?

Before Holland, marijuana was a pharmaceutical and cultivated in the Unites States - I would suggest cultivated to enhance its medicinal effects which would imply potency.

More people die in a year from Tylenol compared to zero deaths from pot. People say it makes you lazy. Lazy people are lazy no matter what the smoke.

Here I am, I'll smoke and run a 5K. Meanwhile people who boohoo it are out of shape, fat, take a have dozen pills daily while they sit on the couch watching tv. Hopefully this does not describe you guys and gals.

*steps down from his soapbox*

Although I've never partaken of the Devil's Oregano, I know some who do. Something that isn't being addressed is how much more powerful modern 21st century weed is as opposed to the (comparatively) mild strains of the past. There has been a LOT of unofficial work done to make modern weed far more powerful than it used to be, and until that's recognized, we're going to have issues.

#2  "Blunt Response?" That is pretty funny journalism. I've always suspected about 90%+ of Washington government employees are stoned out of their minds.
