#6  Russians won a lot of wars in their history.

Mostly by throwing more bodies at the enemy than they had. That is how they have conquered their immediate neighbors as they has smaller populations.

When they have a near peer enemy with good technology, Russia has performed very poorly. The one exception is WW2. With Ukraine, Russia currently had similar war material at first, but now the scale has swung towards Ukraine. While Russia has managed to ramp T-90 and BMP-3 production up to replace the newer shit they lost, they are still being heavily attrited in the older equipment. Basically not enough to keep that level of troops on the field with what they are producing and pulling out of storage.

The west immediately suspending aid to Ukraine will bring a Russian win through numbers. If they don't, Russia will bleed to death.

#1  The Russians are Fucking Blooded Now

You got to live in order to learn.
You have got to demonstrate you learned by changing to suit the environment.
A 'mother may I' institutionalized command environment does not adapt quickly enough to handle a dynamic tactical situation.
