| #1 Based on the contents of the article, I believe that the State Dept-CIA complex will seek to prop up the Taliban with money on the down low so that it won’t look like the US screwed the whole thing up. They will say that Afghanistan needs peace as they shovel money into aid that they know is ending up in Taliban paws. It’s possible that they left them arms on purpose to that end. They will claim that they did not. In the end the Taliban will fall anyway. Something that the next president can address when the CIA is dissected. |
