[IsraelTimes] A Paleostinian from the northern West Bank city of Jenin is detained after attempting to carry out a stabbing attack at the nearby Jalamah checkpoint, the Defense Ministry says.According to the ministry, the suspect, while brandishing a knife, ran toward security guards manning the border crossing.
The guards fired warning shots, and the suspect then threw the knife to the side, before being detained, the ministry says.
There are no injuries in the incident.
