#18 The only people selling and buying this 5k - 20k number are the NAFO type folks. I am in agreement. We have seen the Russians pulling armor and such back and using ferries to move them to the eastern bank. Looks like they did the hollow balloon withdrawl. They kept ammo and heavy equipment at the front, but evacuated the rest behind. They hollowed out the occupied area, then collapsed it back as they pulled out. We'll see more videos and evidence if more things have been left behind, but the troops withdrawing didn't seem like a panic as the northern retreats were. So far it looks deliberate and planned. As of know I would estimate maybe 1,000 killed, wounded and missing as we have seen Russian convoys hit while they retreat. But they got the lion's share of their soldiers out I think. Along with most of the artillery and a good bit of the armored vehicles. |

#2 I doubt they have lost that many. We have seen the Russians pulling out for a couple weeks and the rapid pace of the Ukrainians to regain the ground I think speak of a pretty well operated pullout by Russia. How many armored vehicles and equipment left behind is the real question. |

#1 Sergi has made the tough decision. Russian civilians and solders removed from Kherson. Now for the Ukrainians to move in with the West celebrating. The meat grinder will be in full operation. Ground freezing temperatures now needed for several days. 37 degrees now. Soon massive overwhelming forces to be deployed. Washington back channels knowing this have been pushing for negotiations with Ukraine and Russia. No trust in these people only firm military force is now required. The Russian people want to finish this. You remove Putin you invite a more aggressive advance by Russia. The West has done everything wrong. They can't even determine who sabotaged the pipelines. Vietnam, Afghanistan, and now bungling Biden will deliver the same result in Ukraine. |
