Russian war style note |

The folks in Donetsk who compile information on the near constant shelling by Ukrainian artillery units probably have better things to do than to concerned themselves with reporting styles. They use the word shell as a verb, a gerund and a noun. But the way it gets translated sounds stupid. This applies only to the Breakaway reporting which uses it constantly. From this moment forward, the word shell and shells will be replaced with round or rounds. Examples: "So and so was shelled this morning using 122mm rounds." "So and so location experienced shelling by 122mm rounds." If you have a a better solution, feel free. |

#1 I think you are going a nice job. I always smile at the MTL of Chinese webnovels where "thermal weapons" replaces firearms and hand weapons become "cold weapons".... *Brrr* break out the oven mitts before engaging in combat! |
