#13 I spent a big part of my career working with the Oracle database. I always thought it was superb. Some of their other software was half baked to say the least but the database is extremely powerful. |

#8 Most Oracle customers bought it for the various add-ons and third-party service organizations behind it. Most of them are very big but not particularly interested in a "roll your own" approach to much if any of their IT activity. |
