-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
'Multi-hazard, life-threatening weather' for 100M people unfolds across the heartlands: At least 300K are without power as dust storm barrels through Kansas, 107MPH winds topple trailers in Colorado and tornadoes touch ground in six other states
2021-12-16
Yesterday we had feet of snow, today its dust.
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News]
  • Blinding dust storm moving at hurricane force winds of 90mph has blanketed half of Kansas

  • The winds were so powerful that they knocked down tractor trailers and caused destruction in Colorado

  • They also sparked fires throughout Oklahoma, with reports of tornadoes in Iowa and Nebraska

  • A severe weather alert was in place for 100 million people in states throughout the Midwest and Great Plains, with the National Weather Service calling it a 'historical weather day'

  • It came amid some record high temperatures, just days after dozens of powerful tornadoes swept through the area, flattening homes and businesses

#4  Breezy, but not as bad as 2017.

Like bman said, hardly unprecedented; typical DM hype.

I did witness a couple East Kansans get molested by their car door like Kindergartners around the Bidens.

#3  My friends in Loveland and Longmont had pictures of trees falling on houses and small structures ripped apart. Looked like a small tornado ripped through there.

Where I am we have just had 60ish MPH wind gusts and lawn decorations deciding they needed to visit Kansas. Definitely small dog warning in effect.

Our extended DOD family in Colorado Springs area called telling us of 75++ mph wind gusts yesterday ... It was a big mess in their area.

On the lighter side....
Liberals can rest assured Biden is on top of it ☺.
