#1  The Harakat ul-Mujahideen noted in this article was financed and trained by the Pakistan military's ISI for action in Kashmir. It produced many Al Qaeda emirs. Not the least of whom was Abu al-Ma'ali, trained by the Harakat and leader of the Mujahideen in Bosnia and later in the various Balkan wars.
