"26 bad boyz were potted, 3 were maimed and an 82mm-artillery was destroyed in airstrikes carried by coalition forces in Support of Afghan National Army in Bala Murghab Jawand districts of Badghis province," the sources added.

Badghis is among the relatively volatile provinces in northwestern parts of Afghanistan. Talibs are active in some of its remote districts and often attempt to attack the government and security compounds.
