| Saudi-led coalition warplanes launch 9 strikes on Yemen's Saada |

| [EN.ABNA24] Warplanes of US-backed Saudi-led coalition on Wednesday launched nine strikes on residential areas of Saada province, Yemen Ansar Allah media center report. The warplanes waged two strikes on Safraa district and three raids on Hajlah and Aal-Ali areas of Razih district, the center said. In Sehar district of Saada, the fighter jets of coalition launched two strikes on Sarar area and two air strikes on Ahma-Talh area, causing heavy damage to residents’ properties. |

| #1 Saada is the lightly populated Shia dominated province in the far north bordering Saudi Arabia. Houthi forces captured the city in 2011, and now the Saudis are determined to level the province (whether it plans to salt its fields has not been disclosed). |
