PAT Chief not happy with Federal Budget
2015-06-06
[NATION.PK] The Chairman of Pakistain Awami Tehrik Dr. Tahirul Qadri
...Pak politician, and would-be dictator, founder and head of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran and Pakistain Awami Tehrik. He usually resides in Canada, but returns to Pakistain periodically to foam at the mouth and lead demonstrations. Depending on which way the wind's blowing, Qadri claims to be the author of Pak's blasphemy law. Other times he says it wasn't him...
, reacting on the Federal Budget, has stated that the real Budget will come after this one is passed by the National Assembly; the one presented on Friday by Ishaq Dar is just an eyewash.

The PAT chief said that as long as this government is in place Pakistain can never rid itself of the loans and the markup that has to be paid on the loans that have been taken. He said like last year this budget has also been prepared by the wizards of International Monetary Fund.

He said that like the people of the country, he too has no expectations from this budget and that it fulfill all the desires of IMF. He said these international agencies want their loans back with markup and that is why they were more interested in the budget rather than the common man on the road.

Dr. Tahirul Qadri said education, health, local bodies have been ignored and all the resources are to be spent on new bridges and roads. He said nations do not grow by giving relief to cement and iron industries. He said increasing the minimum wages by one thousand rupees is a crude joke on the poor man of the country.

He said only once the finance minister should try to prepare the house budget of a poor man with Rs 13,000/. His eye will remain open had he will realize that this amount is nothing a compared to the rising inflation in the country.
