[Ynet] The US Navy has stopped accompanying fat merchantmen through the Strait of Hormuz, a mission it began last week in the wake of Iran's seizure of a cargo ship, the Pentagon said on Wednesday. Colonel Steve Warren, a Pentagon front man, said the decision was taken after several days of accompanying US and British fat merchantmen without incident. He stressed that US Navy ships in the area would still conduct routine maritime security operations. |

#4 ...guess they hadn't finished appointing party approved commanders to the ship level yet. Danger having someone in place who actually might act creating a cascading effect that results in war. |
