| [MAGHAREBIA] As part of the new measures to confront extremism, Algeria will increase control over religious associations, El Watan reported on Thursday (September 4th). The government will impose stricter rules for the creation of religious associations. Algeria also plans to monitor their financing and budgets. Religious associations make up more than 16% of the 92,627 NGOs in the country. |
