(Xinhua) -- A bomb planted inside a car exploded outside a retail complex in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, early Tuesday morning, police said. A front man from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said a cordon was put in place for the suspect Vauxhall Corsa and there were no reports of injuries. "Initial inquiries suggest there were no injuries," he said, adding that "substantial damage has been caused to the retail complex and to the car." He added that a warning had been received about an hour before the device exploded, and dozens of homes and shops near to the Da Vinci Centre of Culmore Road were evacuated. |
