| The Lord smites another Moroccan mosque, dooms only one |

 [Maghrebia] A mosque collapsed Saturday (February 27th) in Morocco's Nador province, killing one person and injuring three others. Contractors were working to expand the dome of the Al-Amal mosque when it collapsed, MAP reported. The mosque was built in Zayo in 1994. On February 19th, the minaret of the 400-year old mosque near Bab El Berdiyine in the Meknes medina collapsed during Friday prayers, killing 41 people and injuring more than 80. |

| #9 What do you think will happen to SA, Iran, etc... if we suddenly had an alternative to Arab Oil? There would be a tremendous improvement in the standards of camel husbandry. |

When Spain's, France's and England's navies got strong enough to deny them the millions of slaves they kidnapped from Europe and Africa, all their empires collapsed as muslims are inherently lazy and stupid. | #7 The entire economic system was totally dependent on the infusion of wealth (via war booty) and when they ran out of new lands to plunder the gig was up. Sounds like an excellent reason to Dig here - Dig now. Until we can develop some sustainable alternatives.... What do you think will happen to SA, Iran, etc... if we suddenly had an alternative to Arab Oil? |

| #6 one of the great PC myths is the idea of the enlightened Muslims of the Caliphate making great discoveries while Europe was in the dark ages. The advances in math and science as well as the technical feats were the products of the conquered non-Muslims. the zero was discovered by an Indian, Algebra developed by a Syriac Christian, and eyeglasses (i believe)by a Copt. The end of the protracted warfare after the region fell under muslim control brought security (of a sort) to the area, and minds explored new areas. after a couple generations and conversion to Islam, the enforced 'non-think' took hold and the 'Golden age of the Caliphate' came crashing down. The entire economic system was totally dependent on the infusion of wealth (via war booty) and when they ran out of new lands to plunder the gig was up. |

| #5 Arguably the best engineers/architects in the world 700 years ago were Muslim; not clear they have advanced, or even maintained, since. It's my understanding that these engineers were taken from conquered societies and forced to design whatever their new overlords wanted. Do I recall correctly? As for the collapse of various domes/minarets, can't these dorks just hold their prayer sessions at another venue? |
