| The Taliban in Mohmand Agency on Monday took an 11-member delegation of tribal elders from Bajaur Agency hostage, sources told Daily Times. The sources said the elders of the Mandal tribe had gone to the Anbar mountains to meet the Taliban and discuss rocket attacks in Mandal area of Bajaur from Anbar area of Mohmand. Officials of Bajaur's political administration confirmed the abduction. Mandal tribesmen asked the Taliban to free all the hostages, and threatened to advance on Anbar tehsil if the demand was not met. |
