Certainly looks like Gawdzilla RealPolitik will rear its butt-ugly head once again... and rampage through Tokyo Baghdad (and its environs) smashing bldgs and cars any hope that Iraq will end up as anything other than partitioned along sectarian lines - which means one helluvalot of "cleansing" and "migration" will be on the Iraqi agenda for the next few years.

Funny thing is, it looked like partitioning, at least regards Kurdistan, made perfect sense 3+ years ago, IMO. Still makes sense, regardless of what the Arabs do to each other, I believe.
