DANVILLE, Pa. - Geisinger Medical Center has settled a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleged that a surgeon left a 4-inch metal instrument in her uterus. The lawsuit filed in Montour County Court alleged that Dr. Samuel Owusu operated on Lori Klinger, now 35, in November 2002. The suit alleged that two days after her surgery, the instrument - sharp on one end with a rubber bulb on the other - emerged from her vagina.

#7 Reminds me of the time my wife had a hysterectomy, oophorectomy and tube removal and the doc left an ovary behind. "Hmm, it's been six months and still no menopause. That's odd." One CAT scan later: not only did they forget the ovary, but it now has a golf ball sized cyst on it. Morons. By the way, is that Coke or Pepsi in that pic? |
