#2 As I understand it there are no local port facilities that can be used to unload either bulk or container cargo. Even the moorings at the Arun LNG plant are not available. So, I guess it begs the question - why ship by sea - why not airlift the stuff? |

#1 Maybe the Banda Aceh Islamic Youth Scouts will be able to use it, when it gets there. The medical stuff, what, 3+ weeks after the event? Must've coordinated with Jan Egeland & Co. Has to be unloaded, then reloaded onto your landing craft? The C-130's you're gonna charter - those built by the UN? No? Mebbe Norway?
